+ | The Beretta M12 is an Italian sub-machine gun developed by Beretta mostly to be issued to Carabinieri (Italian Gendarmerie equivalent), but later in the 1970s replaced the MAB submachine gun. It has some variants such as the M12S (foldable stock), PM12S (modernized) and PM-12S2 (additional safety features). It was widely exported and even made under licence by PT Pindad,FN Herstal and Taurus. Is supposed to be replaced by the Beretta PMX in Italian service and police. | ||

− | The Agram 2000 is a modified Croatian variant of the Beretta M12. | + | The Agram 2000 (the name Agram comes from an old German name for the city of Zagreb, Croatia's capital) is a modified Croatian variant of the Beretta M12. Designed in 1992 after the outbreak of the civil war in Yugoslavia as a compact weapon for covert ops, it appears to have entered mainstream production in 1995, with a number of improvements made in 1997 (resulting in its distinctive appearance). Subsequently, the modernized Agram 2002 version was created, but it apparently did not gain popularity. The Agram 2000 became infamous as a gangsters' weapon, used throughout the former Eastern Bloc. Its semi-official wartime origin, and the presence of a silencer (which made it essentially sort of a reincarnation of the suppressed MAC-10), directly contributed to this. The Agram 2000 is fed from 22 or 32 round magazines. According to some sources, ERO/Uzi magazines are also accepted. |

The Beretta M12 is an Italian sub-machine gun developed by Beretta mostly to be issued to Carabinieri (Italian Gendarmerie equivalent), but later in the 1970s replaced the MAB submachine gun.

Agram 2000
The Agram 2000 (the name Agram comes from an old German name for the city of Zagreb, Croatia's capital) is a modified Croatian variant of the Beretta M12.
