The Tokarev TT-33 and variants have appeared in the following films, television series, video games, and anime used by the following actors:
Tokarev TT-33
The TT-33 was designed in 1930 by Fedor Tokarev, who drew heavily from John Browning's FN Browning Model 1903 and Colt Model 1911 pistols. The TT-33 was intended to replace the obsolete Nagant M1895 revolver, but production was never sufficient to fully replace the vast number of revolvers already in service. The TT-33 is chambered in 7.62x25mm Tokarev, which is based on the 7.63x25mm Mauser round of the Mauser C96 (which had been widely used by Bolshevik forces during the Russian Civil War) but loaded to higher pressure levels.

Norinco Type 54 / Model 213
The Norinco 7.62x25mm Type 54 pistol is the standard pistol in use with the Chinese People's Liberation Army. It is a direct copy of the Soviet/Russian 7.62x25mm Tokarev TT-33 pistol. The Pistol Series 213 are commercial models of this pistol. There are three models in the 213 series: The base Model 213 is a Type 54 revised to fire 9x19mm ammunition, the Model 213A is a model 213 with a 14 round capacity box magazine, and the Model 213B is a Model 213 with revised molded grips to improve comfort of the shooter.
In Japan, many Type 54 pistols are imported through illegal gun running channels, and many are used by Yakuzas as one of their used firearms. As a result, the Type 54 Pistol has become a byword for an illegal/yakuza pistol in Japanese media. It's also known as "Black Star (黒星)" or "Tokarev (トカレフ)".

BUSS GS-90
The BUSS GS-90 is a blank fire only variant of the TT-33 manufactured by Biuro Uruchomień Sprzętu Specjalnego between 1989 and 1990. Unusually, it is not built from scratch but is built from surplus Polish army Pw wz.33 pistols fitted with a new barrel and a modified slide. It can be distinguished from an original Pw wz.33 by its shorter slide and the large medallions bearing the "BUSS" logo in the center of the grip plates.
