The most beautiful firearm ever made...
File:Some gunz.jpg
After seeing the boxart of The Mechanic (2011) I made this image. Yes, it IS a Desert Eagle.
Splinter Cell: Conviction: "Like any man, when he's pushed to his limits, he's capable of anything."
Medal of Honor (2010): "Warriors are born from loyalty, love of neighbor and country, and a desire to protect and safeguard. Their actions are precise, principled, determined, and committe to act selflessly for the benefit of others. To those men that make every sacrifice to become what they are. FOR HONOR. FOR COUNTRY. FOR BROTHER."
A smoking hot woman and a gun. What else do you need?
Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne: "The past is a puzzle, like a broken mirror. As you piece it together, you cut yourself, your image keeps shifting. And you change with it. It could destroy you, drive you mad. It could set you free."
Duke Nukem Forever: "I came, I saw, I kicked ass!"
The Expendables: "Damn, that thing's loud!"
8 Mile: "...Fuck the beat, I go acapella
Fuck a Papa Doc, fuck a clock, fuck a trailer, fuck everybody
Fuck y'all if you doubt me
I'm a piece of fucking white trash, i say it proudly
And fuck this battle, I don't wanna win, I'm outtie
Here, tell these people something they don't know about me."
Deus Ex: Human Revolution: "It's not the end of the world... but you can see it from here."

A message to all the haters:
"You think you can take me? You need a fucking army if you gonna take me!"

Congratulations, you have found a secret message. So now what? Get a fucking life!!!

About me

My name is Peter. I'm 23 from Slovakia, but my nationality is Hungarian. I am a video game addict, and I say it out proudly. It is still better than facebook-ing all day long. I don't speak English and I do not know anything about firearms!

My Steam username is: Evan Stone Fan, add me if you wish. Currently playing: nothing
Battle.net 2.0 username: EvanStoneFan, playing StarCraft II (my character code is 187, add me if you want to play some co-op) and will Diablo III (hopefully)

IMFDB and Me

One day I was searching for information about the weapons in the video game Splinter Cell: Conviction and I found this site. Since I like guns and the Conviction page looked like crap, after buying and completing the game, I added a sh#tload of images to the page. After that I gathered all my old games (like Pandora Tomorrow, The Sum Of All Fears or Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory) and created pages for them. I spend about 3-4 hours daily on IMFDb, contributing mainly on video game pages. I must note that some of my screenshots were supplied by my friend "OrcF#$ker", because he also likes weapons but has no time to upload images and doesn't know heck about the wiki-code.
I usually screencap video games only, because it is much easier, and almost each time I can choose the scene and angle to get the best pic possible. Sometimes I use cheats, hacks, trainers or the developer console (see the Velvet Assassin page) to get some cool images. Here's how I screencap: I add the game to Steam and then simply press F12 and Steam will take care of the rest. After that I edit the image in IrfanView or Photoshop to enhance it if needed. I know that I should not alter the screenshots, but sometimes I mess around with the contrast or gamma to make the guns see clearly. If I'm not too tired I even remove the crosshair or other elements of the HUD.

Some of my favorite weapons:

Beretta 92FS, Steyr AUG PARA, Barrett REC7, Heckler & Koch HK416,
I also like Russian-made weapons, especially by Izhmash (mainly the AK-103 and AN-94).

Weapons I have fired:

Makarov PM - standard issue of the Slovak police (yeah, I know they should "upgrade")
K100 - Slovak semi-auto pistol made by Grand Power (sold in the U.S. by STI International as the "GP6")

Likes and Dislikes

  • Directors I hate: Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez
  • Video games I hate: Need for Speed series (it was a pain in the ass to complete and screencap Undercover), Fable series, FIFA series, Battlefield series (all of them!) - pretty much I hate all games published by EA Games or utilizing G4WL

Call of Duty vs. Battlefield?

Which one is the ultimate shooter? Honestly, both suck monkey balls. COD games are like stupid low-budget action movies directed by Uwe Boll. No offense, Uwe. Stupid AK(S)-74Us and lever-action guns dominate all maps. Not to mention the converted G17. In Battlefield the weapons and reload animations are low class and the hit detection is also poor. The best single-player campaign I encountered while I was playing Medal of Honor (2010). In my opinion that is the best shooter out in our Universe. I also like Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon games because they offer some sort of reality and realistic weapons and attachments.

Future Plans

I really would like to become a film director. I'm writing several screenplays right now, maybe one day those movies will become true and even appear on IMFDB :). If I get to it, I promise I will show a SPAS-12 or M3 Super 90 in semi-automatic mode, or an M16A2 in 3-burst.

Pages I've contributed screenshots or text to
