Battlefield 4 is the latest installment in the Battlefield series developed by Swedish game developer DICE and published by Electronic Arts. It was announced that those who pre-ordered Medal of Honor: Warfighter would be granted early beta access to the game. The game was released on October 29.

The following weapons appear in the video game Battlefield 4:


Handguns

Handguns are the only class of weapon to be equipped in the secondary slot in multiplayer (with the single exception of the Serbu Shorty 870). They offer a faster transition time than reloading a primary weapon. In an odd departure from Battlefield 3, magazine-fed handguns all use identical reloading animations. Hammers are in the proper positions for single action firing, if available. To model the longer trigger pull of double-action revolvers, a delay is added before the revolvers actually fire. Handguns offer relatively high damage (the revolvers even more so) at very short range and low damage at distance. Attachments available include lights, lasers, barrel attachments, and both iron and optical sights.

Beretta M9

The Beretta M9 returns from Battlefield 3 and is the second sidearm to be unlocked. It is nearly identical to the P226 in performance aside from a slightly different recoil pattern. The M9 is the United States military designation for the 92FS - a widely used semi-automatic 9x19mm handgun with military, police, and civilians. The United States Marine Corps (as showcased in this game) also use the M9A1 variant which features a rail built into the frame. A minor modelling error is evident on a reload from empty - the breech-end of the barrel extends a little too far back. The M9 requires a score of 4000 points earned with pistols to unlock. The in-game model of the pistol is also used for "93R", albeit with some changes, such as the addition to the forward grip, which is not used by the player when holding it in-game, unlike in Battlefield 3 where the player holds the gun using both the pistol grip and the front grip.

Chiappa Rhino 40DS

The Chiappa Rhino revolver appears in the DLC Naval Strike, called "SW40". It is the 4 inch barrel version. The Rhino's visible hammer does not move while firing, which is actually correct, as the gun has an internal hammer and the visible part is simply a lever used to cock the internal hammer, which does not stay back after the internal hammer is cocked, nor does it move while firing (a comparison could be made to an AR-15 or MP5 charging handle, which only move when moved by the user, as they are separate from the bolt).

CZ 75 SP-01 SHADOW

The CZ 75 SP-01 SHADOW chambered in .40S&W is an unlockable sidearm in the game, holding 12 rounds in the magazine. This pistol requires a score of 45000 points earned with pistols to unlock.

Desert Eagle Mark XIX

The Desert Eagle Mark XIX appears as the "DEagle 44" in the Dragon's Teeth DLC. Fitting the "Compensator" attachment to the weapon will add the real world IWI muzzle break available on new Desert Eagle pistols (It is referred to in the second image). However, fitting the "Muzzle brake" attachment will produce the same generic break used on other pistols.

FN Five-seveN

The FN Five-seveN is available in multiplayer. A "Mastery" Dog-Tag is also present for the weapon on the Battlelog website. In-game the Five Seven does slightly less damage than 9x19mm pistols but benefits from having superior accuracy and a large 20 round magazine capacity. The Five Seven requires 28000 points with handguns to unlock.

Glock 17

On the cover art, as well as other promotional artwork, Recker is seen holding a Glock 17 with a flashlight attached to it. The standard version has the same tan frame as the Glock 18; it is also wielded by Pac throughout the campaign, as well as Agent Kovic in Shanghai, and Captain Garrison uses one with an black frame in the level "South China Sea". It is only seen in the singleplayer campaign, used by NPCs.

Glock 18

The Glock 18 has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. A "Mastery" Dog-Tag is also present for the weapon on the Battlelog website. The fire rate was formerly 900 rounds per minute, but this has since been corrected to the proper 1100 round per minute fire rate. The Glock requires 23000 points with handguns to unlock. It's worth noting that it's actually a reuse of the G17's model with an 18's selector added; it features all of the cocking serrations, instead of the middle section of them being flat, where the fire mode markings are.

Heckler & Koch HK45C

The Heckler & Koch HK45C is the very last sidearm to be unlocked in multiplayer, and is listed as the "Compact 45" presumably for trademark reasons; however, DICE's internal file name for the pistol remains "HK45C". It uses 10-round extended "elephant foot" magazines, and has the threaded barrel of the 45CT. The HK45C was developed as the compact version of the full-size HK45, but shares some characteristics with the 9x19mm HK P2000. The HK45CT suppressor-ready variant has been adopted by United States Naval Special Warfare units in limited numbers as the Mk 24 Mod 0 Combat Assault Pistol. The HK45C is the last handgun unlocked via score in multiplayer, requiring 57000 points with handguns.

Mateba Model 6 Unica

The Mateba Model 6 Unica appears as the "Unica 6" in the Dragon's Teeth DLC. If the Compensator attachment is used, the gun will use its own unique compensator instead of the generic one that everything else uses.

MP-412 REX

During the Singleplayer campaign, Dunn gives Recker an MP-412 REX to shoot the windshield of the car. A "Mastery" Dog-Tag is also present for the weapon on the Battlelog website. Rather interestingly, The MP-412 can be modified with most of the accessories available to the other pistols. While it cannot be suppressed, red dot sights, lights, lasers, and compensators/muzzle brakes can all be added to the weapon. The REX cannot be unlocked through multiplayer, the player must complete the first mission of the single-player campaign to unlock it.

MP-443 Grach

The MP-443 Grach returns from Battlefield 3 and is unlocked in multiplayer by earning 13000 points with pistols.

Norinco QSZ-92-5.8

The Norinco QSZ-92-5.8 appears in Battlefield 4. A "Mastery" Dog-Tag is also present for the weapon on the Battlelog website. The weapon has flip-flopped between 15-round and 20-round magazine capacities, starting with 20 in the beta, 15 in the final release, then patched back to 20 later. In reality, both 15-round and 20-round magazines for the 5.8x21mm rounds are in existence. The QSZ-92 requires 8000 points earned with pistols to unlock.

SIG-Sauer P226R

The SIG-Sauer P226R is featured in multiplayer as the default sidearm for all classes and factions, despite (or possibly because of) the fact that none of the factions in the game employ the P226R in any significant numbers. The original P226 is chambered in 9x19mm and was submitted to compete to replace the M1911A1 as the standard service pistol of the United States military (eventually won by the Beretta 92F due to total package price, becoming the M9). Soon after, the P226 was selected for use by the United States Naval Special Warfare Command, and remains in service today. The P226R added an accessory rail to the frame, though the "R" designation was later dropped. In the game it uses standard 15-round magazines and features an extended threaded barrel for suppressors.

Taurus Model 44

The Taurus Model 44 (once again listed as the ".44 Magnum") is available in multiplayer as the second to last sidearm unlocked. It does an impressive 85 damage per shot, more than the semi-automatic shotguns in the game (excluding the QBS-09). It requires 51000 points earned with pistols to unlock.

Vickers Tactical Custom 1911

A one-off custom variant of the M1911, made by Larry Vickers of Vickers Tactical specifically made for Medal of Honor: Warfighter, replaces the M45 MEU(SOC) from Battlefield 3. Noticeably, the Vickers trademarks are now removed, and it now uses a 7-round magazine compared to 8 from the last game. It is one of the later sidearms unlocked in multiplayer, requiring 34,000 handgun points, and one of only two sidearms that have a 3x scope available (via a frame rail mount) - the other being the .44 Magnum. The firearm features various modern updates to the venerable M1911 design. However, the M45 MEU(SOC) or the new M45A1 would have been a far more realistic choice as it is in service with the United States Marine Corps Special Operations Command.

This handgun requires 34000 points earned with handguns to unlock.

Submachine Guns

Unlike the previous game, SMGs and any other weapons that appeared under the "PDW" category are now exclusive to Engineers. Their once-exclusive carbines are now all-kit weapons.

Beretta Mx4 Storm

The Beretta Mx4 Storm, the select-fire military variant of the Cx4 is available in multiplayer. It is listed simply as the "Mx4". It is the starting weapon of all three factions' Engineer classes.

CZ Scorpion Evo 3 A1

The CZ Scorpion Evo 3 A1 appears as the "CZ-3A1", and has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. A "Mastery" Dog-Tag is also present for the weapon on the Battlelog website. It is listed under the PDW category and requires 37000 points earned with PDWs to unlock.

FN P90 TR

The FN P90 TR is available in the campaign and unlockable in multiplayer by means of an assignment. Hanna uses this gun as her main weapon in the campaign, it is attached with a Trijicon red dot sight.

Heckler & Koch UMP45

The Heckler & Koch UMP45 is an available PDW in the game. Unlike BF3, the front sight assembly is removed when equipped with optics. In real life, this would not be possible without permanently altering the weapon. Unlike its 9mm brother, the UMP45 is present in the unlock tree for PDW's, and does not require the player to complete an Assignment. The UMP-45 requires 11000 score with PDWs to acquire.

Jian She Type-05

The Jian She Type-05 appears in-game as the last PDW unlocked. Strangely, the in-game model is a hybrid of the Type-05's flattop with rail, and the QCQ-05's 5.8mm chambering and unsuppressed barrel. This may be justified given that the game is set in the future. It is the last unlocked weapon in the PDW set, requiring a PDW score of 48000.

PP-2000

The PP-2000 is available in multiplayer. This time around, it has a 44-round magazine by default. It is an unlockable PDW requiring 4000 points earned with PDWs.

Saab Bofors Dynamics CBJ-MS

The Saab Bofors Dynamics CBJ-MS appears in-game as an unlockable PDW. It has the highest muzzle velocity in its class, due to its unique 6.5x25mm rounds. The weapon model shows a 100-round drum magazine, but it actually only holds 50+1 rounds in-game. It requires 19000 PDW points to unlock.

The TsNIITochMash SR-2M Veresk appears as the "SR-2" in the Naval Strike DLC, requiring the destruction on 20 boats to acquire it.

Shotguns

Benelli M1

A Benelli M1 with a pistol grip stock and top rail incorrectly replaces the the proper Benelli M4 from BF3 as the "M1014". It does average damage per shot when compared to the other shotguns (equivelant to other semi-auto's barring the QBS-09), but this is balanced with a very high rate of fire and fast reload time. The Benelli M1 requires 11000 score with shotguns to unlock.

Cobray Street Sweeper

The SWD/Cobray Street Sweeper, called "DAO-12" in the game, is an unlockable shotgun in the second DLC Second Strike. The reloading animation differs from the Battlefield 3 DAO-12 in that the player will manually turn the key in front of the drum after inserting each shell.

Daewoo USAS-12

The Daewoo USAS-12 appears in the game as a battle pickup. It usually is configured with an EOTech sight, though a FLIR sight version is present. It always has a AN/PEQ-15 laser sight and is always loaded with FRAG-12 rounds.

"DBV-12"

The DBV-12 (an AK-12 modified to fire shotgun shells, like the the original AK's Saiga 12) is the last unlockable shotgun in multiplayer. It requires 59000 points earned with shotguns and is the last weapon in the shotgun list.

Franchi SPAS-12

The Franchi SPAS-12 has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. It is pump-action, just like in the Bad Company series and Battlefield 3. In-game the weapon holds 9 (8+1) rounds and requires a score of 37000 with shotguns.

Hawk 97-2

The Hawk 97-2 shotgun appears as the "Hawk 12G". It is the most powerful of the Pump Action shotguns but with the largest spread and pellet count at 14 pellets. It requires a shotgun score of 19000. M26 Modular Accessory Shotgun System

The M26 Modular Accessory Shotgun System is once again an unlockable attachment for the Assault Kit, and has a "Mastery" Dog-Tag on the Battlelog website. As with the previous game, multiple ammunition types are available, these are obtained through the Assault Kits level progression as opposed to unlocking through kills by the weapon. When equipped by itself it is outfitted with a Reflex Sight.

QBS-09

The QBS-09 is the default shotgun available once shotguns are unlocked through progression of the Support Class. It is the most powerful semi-automatic shotgun in the game at present, offsetting its rather low 5+1 round capacity. It requires 16000 score with the Support kit to unlock.

Remington 870 MCS

The Remington 870 MCS returns and now holds 7+1 rounds. It is an unlockable weapon requiring 4000 shotgun score, and has a "Mastery" Dog-Tag on the Battlelog. It is the most balanced of the Pump Action shotguns with no defining faults.

Saiga-12K

Recker uses a Saiga-12K in the "Angry Sea" trailer. A "Mastery" Dog-Tag is also present for the weapon on the Battlelog website. The Saiga requires a score of 28000 points earned with shotguns to unlock.

Serbu Super Shorty

An Remington 870-based Serbu Super Shorty appears in BF4. It has an intergrated accessory rail, and can mount a Trijicon RMR or Leupold DeltaPoint sight in addition to a traditional pistol ghost sight. Has a correct 2+1 capacity, and as with the 870MCS in Battlefield 3, is chamberloaded when empty. It is called the "Shorty 12G" in-game, and is available in multiplayer as a sidearm. Unlike other shotguns it can only use Buckshot rounds as well the unlocked Chokes as attachments but cannot fire any alternate ammunition such as Dart, Frag and Slug. It cannot be aimed unless equipped with a sight accessory and is unlocked with 18000 pistol score, though it contributes points towards the other shotguns rather than the rest of the handguns.

UTAS UTS-15

The UTAS UTS-15 appears in multiplayer. A "Mastery" Dog-Tag is also present for the weapon on the Battlelog website, and is labled as "UTS-15". It is the weakest in terms of the pump action shotguns (barring the Shorty 12G which is listed as a sidearm) but posses the most range and tightest spread by default. It requires 48000 shotgun score to unlock.

AK-12

The AK-12 is available in the game. It appears to replace the AK-74M from Battlefield 3. It is the starting weapon for all three factions' Assault class. The AK-12 has a similar ability to the AN-94 from previous battlefield games, selecting burst fire will allow the weapon to fire from a new 750 RPM instead of its default 650 RPM.

AK-12U

Beretta ARX-160

The Beretta ARX-160 appears in the Naval Strike DLC as "AR-160". The weapon is currently glitched as of its March 6th release. The weapon model in 3rd person is much smaller than its real life counterpart and the animation for reloading from a dry magazine does not appear sometimes.

The Bofors Ak 5C is seen during "Angry Sea" singleplayer gameplay reveal, and during Siege of Shanghai multiplayer footage. It is an unlockable weapon in the Beta, and thus has a Dog-Tag on the Battlelog. It is the default starting Carbine, once unlocked through progression of the Engineer class. It requires a score of 15000 Engineer points to unlock.

Bushmaster ACR

The Bushmaster ACR with 14.5" barrel returns from Battlefield 3 named "ACW-R", but this time it's chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. The player character also appears to use the bolt release with his trigger finger, unlike Battlefield 3. It is an unlockable weapon in the Beta. In the full release, the ACR is the first carbine unlocked after the AK 5C, requiring 4000 carbine score.

Colt M16A4 MWS

In the early gameplay footage released in early 2013, Recker is seen using an Colt M16A4 MWS with different accessories attached, including an Elcan M145 3.4x scope and SureFire 45-degree Rapid Transition back-up iron sights, though in the final game, Recker's starting rifle is the FN SCAR-H. In the final game, you unlock the M16A4 with 59,000 Assault Rifle points in multiplayer.

Enfield L85A2

The L85A2 is included in the China Rising DLC pack. The version is the updated L85A2, with a Daniel Defense RIS and other improvements. For the empty reload, the player character reaches over the gun with their left hand and releases the bolt catch, then taps the bolt to make sure it's fully seated.

FN SCAR-H

The FN SCAR-H appears in the "Battlelog" trailer. As confirmed by the Gamespot video showing off all the weapons and gadgets in the game, there are two versions of this rifle in the game — an assault rifle version and a longer-barreled designated marksman rifle version, called the "SCAR-H SV" in-game. The model has been updated, brought in from Medal of Honor: Warfighter, and is a more accurate representation of the current generation SCAR-H. The version for the Assault kit is unlocked with 4000 assault rifle score while the DMR version requires 82000 DMR points.

Heckler & Koch HK416

Seen in the "Fishing in Baku" gameplay demo. Notably, the Heckler & Koch HK416 now has a longer barrel (probably a 14.5"), and current-gen HK buttstock and grip. The new model, brought over from Medal of Honor: Warfighter, is a far more accurate representation of the real HK416. In all previous Battlefield titles, it was outfitted with a 10.4" barrel and standard M4 furniture. It is still called the "M416". It requires an assault rifle score of 11000.

IWI X95

The IWI X95 is a weapon that is included in the China Rising DLC, named "MTAR-21". It is a carbine, and therefore usable by all classes. Unlike the BF3 model, it uses a tan receiver with the D-guard assembly akin to the 5.45 variant but still fires 5.56 rounds.

The Yugoslavian M59/66 variant of the SKS rifle returns from Battlefield 3 as a designated marksman rifle in Battlefield 4, as shown in the Gamespot video showing off all the weapons and gadgets in the game. Magpul PDR-C

The Magpul PDR-C returns from Battlefield 3, this time as an Engineer-only PDW. The Magpul PDR series was only intended as a design study and never made it past the development stage. Unlike most PDW style weapons, it is chambered in the NATO standard 5.56x45mm round with forward ejection, and a utilizes a 12" barrel. It requires a score of 28000 with PDWs to unlock.

The so called "QBZ-95-1" in Battlefield 4 is actually an Norinco QBB-95 using 30-round magazines, for it lacks the new foregrip design and has the fire-selector on the stock, not above the grip like a real QBZ-95-1. It is unlocked by completing an assignment in the Campaign. There is also a shorter-barreled version called the "Type 95B-1" despite not being either a QBZ-95B-1, and is the last carbine unlocked, requiring 83000 carbine score.

The SVK-12, a designated marksman rifle version of the AK-12 is available with a 15-round magazine. In-game it is referred to as "SVD-12" and is listed to use 7.62×54mmR cartridges, a caliber not available for an AK-12, but present on the actual SVD Dragunov. It requires a DMR score of 19000.

Machine Guns

This category lists the light and medium / general-purpose machine guns available for the player to equip. All are limited only to the support class. Open bolt operation is correctly portrayed (with the exception of the Ultimax Mark 5) in the reload animations and the ammunition belt visibly depletes when approaching empty. Unlike Medal of Honor: Warfighter, there is no overheating gameplay mechanic and the player may continuously fire as long as ammunition remains. Players may outfit all close and medium-range optics with the exception of canted iron sights. For the most part, when optics are equipped, the front sight assembly is removed. Compared to assault rifles and carbines, machine guns deal greater suppression to enemies and have lower first round recoil multipliers.

AAI LSAT Light Machine Gun

The AAI LSAT Light Machine Gun (Lightweight Small Arms Technologies) returns from Battlefield 3. It is currently in the developmental stages to demonstrate the latest in lightweight LMG design. This is mainly achieved via two new types of ammunition - a cased telescoped 5.56mm round (as shown in the Battlefield series) and a caseless 5.56mm variant. Interestingly, a round counter developed with the LSAT does not make an appearance in game. It requires 11000 LMG score to unlock.

Ares-16 MCR

The Ares-16 MCR appears as a weapon introduced in Naval Strike DLC, it appears as the "AWS". It is fitted with a 100 round C-Mag, providing more ammo than the Norinco QBB-95-1 as a magazine fed light machine gun. For some reason, it holds 99+1 rounds in-game instead of 100+1.

Heckler & Koch MG4

The Heckler & Koch MG4 is the standard light machine gun for the German Bundeswehr (military), gas operated, belt-fed, and fires the 5.56x45mm NATO round. It appears as the standard full length version and is the last LMG to be unlocked in multiplayer, with a required LMG score of 48000.

FN M240B

The M240B returns from Battlefield 3. It is the standard medium machine gun of the United States Army, chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO and a derivative of the FN MAG, one of the most widely fielded machine guns in the world. Interestingly, the United States Marine Corps (as showcased in the game) instead uses the M240G variant. It requires 37000 LMG score. In Dragon's Teeth DLC, a M240 variant is mounted on the "RAWR", Battlefield 4 version of the MAARS robot.

FN M249 SAW PIP

The FN M249 SAW returns from Battlefield 3. A derivative of the FN Minimi, it is the standard light machine gun of the various branches of the United States military. Featuring the Product Improvement Package (PIP) which includes an updated retractable stock, railed handguard assembly, and a short barrel. Interestingly, the United States Marine Corps, as shown in this game, currently fields the M27 Infantry Automatic Rifle (previously in BF3) as a partial replacement for the M249. The game incorrectly depicts the 100-round soft bag magazine as holding 200 rounds. It is not unlocked through normal means in multiplayer, requring completion of a specific action in the single-player story.

Norinco QBB-95

The Norinco QBB-95 returns from Battlefield 3 as the "QBB-95-1". It is the light machine gun variant of the Chinese Type 95 family of weapons and is fielded by the People's Liberation Army. It fires the Chinese 5.8x42mm round from either a 30-round box magazine or an 80-round drum magazine (as shown in the game). It has the second highest capacity of all magazine-fed weapons in the game. It is unlocked by acquiring 15,000 points with LMGs.

The player reloads the QBB-95. Unlike its other Type 95 counterparts in the game, the bolt does not lock back on the last round. Whether this is due to the drum magazine or an oversight by the animators remains unknown.

Norinco QJY-88

The Norinco QJY-88 returns from Battlefield 3. It is a gas operated, belt-fed light machine gun currently in service with the Chinese People's Liberation Army. It fires the Chinese 5.8x42mm round. The QJY-88 is also known as (and referred to in-game as) the Type 88 LMG - not to be confused with the Type 88 sniper rifle (Norinco QBU-88) that is also in the game. It is the first unlockable LMG, requiring a 4000 score with LMGs.

PKP Pecheneg

The PKP Pecheneg is a gas-operated, belt-fed general purpose machine gun in limited service with the Russian Armed Forces and fires the 7.62x54mmR round. Like the earlier PK series of machine guns, it feeds from the right and ejects to the left, which is correctly portrayed in the game and not an error like much of the Bad Company series of weapons. It requires 19000 LMG score.

RPK-12

The RPK variant of the AK-12 is a light machine gun planned for production in the near future. The game model appears to differ only in the barrel length and magazine. It fires the same 5.45x39mm round and uses a 60-round quad-stack magazine that was developed for the AK-12. It is unlocked by completing the "Support Expert" assignment.

RPK

The "RPK-74M" returns from Battlefield 3 as part of the China Rising DLC. In actuality, the weapon model is the standard 7.62x39mm RPK, one of the more glaring mistakes in the game. The wood furniture, the magazine curvature, and 40-round capacity clearly indicate that it was originally intended as a standard RPK. While the in-game name and caliber listing (5.45x39mm) indicate the RPK-74M, the 7.62x39mm round would be in the same damage model category, due to its muzzle energy (this is also seen with the SKS). This means only the gun's name and caliber listing are errors. The RPK and RPK-74/74M are light machine gun variants of the AKM and AK-74/74M, respectively. The RPK-74/74M replaced the RPK and is currently in service as the standard light machine gun of the Russian Armed Forces.

STK Ultimax 100 Mark 5

The Ultimax 100 Mark 5 appears the starting weapon for the support class. It is chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO, feeds STANAG M16 compatible magazines, and fires from the open bolt (uncommon for modern magazine-fed weapons). The Mark 5 was submitted to compete in the USMC Infantry Automatic Rifle competition, although it was not selected. The older Mark 3/3A variant is the standard light machine gun for the Singapore Armed Forces. Modelled with a 30-round magazine, it incorrectly holds 45 rounds.

The AWM-F is an unlockable weapon in the China Rising DLC. The image on the Battlelog indicates that it is the same model from BF3, and thus is again improperly named as an L96A1.

Barrett M107

The Barrett M107 in-game is incorrectly dubbed an M82A3 despite it not having a raised top rail and a lack of a rear grip and monopod socket. It is a so-called "Battle Pickup" in the game, called the "M82A3", "M82A3 MID", or "M82A3 CQB", depending on its configuration. It can be seen in the "Paracel Storm" trailer, as it takes out an enemy on a water scooter. The fictional laser range finder that is always mounted on this rifle, and that can be mounted on any of the bolt action rifles as well, is actually an AN/PEQ-11 with the rear end altered to into a display screen. The attachment even says the name if one looks close enough.

The Barrett Model 98 Bravo has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events, once again called the "M98B". This time around it correctly holds 10 rounds in the magazine. It requires a sniper rifle score of 34000.

Cheyenne Tactical M-200 Intervention

The Cheyenne Tactical M-200 Intervention has been seen in the "This is Battlefield 4 Multiplayer" trailer, as well as in an "Only in Battlefield 4" video and in multiple public multiplayer events. It is called the "SRR-61" in the game, named for the Jordanian 61st Special Reconnaissance Regiment, or SRR-61, who use the rifle. It is the last Sniper Rifle unlocked, requiring 42000 sniper rifle points.

The F&D Defense FD338, available in the Naval Strike DLC, it's currently the only semi-automatic weapon in the sniper rifle category, meaning that only the Recon class has access to it. It is called the "SR338" in the game.

Jian She CS/LR3

The Jian She CS/LR3, also known as the "FY-JS" in the game, is the 5.8mm variant of the CS/LR4. Unlike it's larger caliber sibling, the FY-JS has a standard finish instead the permanent camo on the CS/LR4, like a lot of variants have in the game.

Steyr Elite

the Steyr Elite appears in the game. It is the 5.56x45mm version and bizarrely, it only holds 5+1 rounds and is the weakest of the Sniper Rifles, taking almost three shots to kill over long range but posses the fastest rate of fire, aim speed and bullet velocity. It requires 8000 points with sniper rifles.

FGM-148 Javelin

The FGM-148 Javelin has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. It is no-longer a fire and forget weapon, requiring a constant lock in order to successfully make a hit.

FIM-92A Stinger

After the player disembarks the helicopter in the E3 multiplayer demo, a soldier is seen running with an FIM-92A Stinger. It has also been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. It is considered a fire and forget launcher but has the shortest range of the portable AA Weapons.

Heckler & Koch M320

Near the end of the singleplayer demo, the player fires a Heckler & Koch M320 from a car's driver seat. It has also been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. It is a gadget unlock for the Assault Class and is capable of firing 40mm High Explosive Dual Purpose Grenades in addition to Dart, Smoke, Timed Fragmentation and a new Flashbang ammunition variant. In the Naval Strike update, the M320 gains the ability to fire off 3 grenades semi automatically before reloading, mimicking the Metal Storm 3GL, called "M320 3GL".

Heckler & Koch XM25

In the live stream of Battlefield 4 during E3, players can be seen equipped with an Heckler & Koch XM25. It is usable by the Support class only. It too, like the M320 is capable of launching alternate ammunition ranging from its default Airburst, Dart and Smoke rounds. Using Dart ammunition increases the fire rate and it behaves similar to a semi-automatic shotgun with a Infrared Scope.

The M203 grenade launcher appears in the game mounted the "RAWR", only having limited shots before running out of ammo. Four od them are mounted on the robot, two on each side.

MBT LAW

The MBT LAW has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. It is the easiest to use but also the weakest of the launchers as the Rocket fired has a self guidence system, providing it's close to the target and will automatically attack the weakest point (top armor).

Milkor MGL Mk 1S

Recker is also seen wielding a Milkor MGL Mk 1S with Picatinny rails and reflex sights. When reloading, the whole 6 grenades are ejected from the cylinder, regardless of how many have been fired, and new ones are loaded, two grenades at a time. It is available as a Battle Pickup in multiplayer.

Mk 153 Mod 0 SMAW

The Mk 153 Mod 0 SMAW has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. It is the second most powerful the Anti-Tank Launchers and possesses the flattest trajectory over a distance.

RPG-7V2

The RPG-7V2 returns from Battlefield 3, now with the correct rear tube cover of the V2 model. It is the most powerful of unguided Anti-Tank launchers but is also the hardest use at range due to the arcing trajectory of the rocket in flight.

SA-18 Grouse

The SA-18 Grouse has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. It is once again called the "SA-18 Igla". In-game it behaves differently from Battlefield 3 instead forgoing the use as a fire and forget launcher for use as a constant lock launcher. In posses the longest range of the AA Launchers but requires a near constant lock to maintain a hit, alternatively, a target can be reacquired even if the target used counter measures providing the missile is still in flight.

Starstreak HVM

The shoulder launched Starstreak HVM launcher is available as a battle pickup in the game. It has only two shots and can engage both aircraft and armor. It is requires a constant lock to maintain a hit, however a lock can be reacquired even if a target used counter-measures. The Starstreak is most effective against enemy aircraft as opposed to enemy land vehicles such as enemy armor.

M2 SLAM

The M2 SLAM appears in a Gamespot video showing off all the weapons and gadgets in the game. It is usable by the Engineer class. It is a highly versatile mine, capable of sticking to walls and objects and even enemy vehicles to some extent but inflicts less damage as the M15 AT mine.

M18 smoke grenade

M18A1 Claymore

The M18A1 Claymore appears in a Gamespot video showing off all the weapons and gadgets in the game. It is usable by the Support and Recon classes. When planted, 3 trip wires shoot from the front of the mine, any thing that crosses the wires will trigger the mine.

General Dynamics GAU-12/U

The GAU-12/U is the mounted on the LAV-AD in multiplayer. Though the actual gun fires 25mm ammunition, the game depicts the gun as capable of firing either 20mm or 30mm rounds depending on the player's choosing. The AC-130 also carries a GAU-12/U as does the F-35 jet fighter.
