Battlefield 4 is an upcoming installment in the Battlefield series developed by Swedish game developer DICE and published by Electronic Arts. It was announced that those who pre-ordered Medal of Honor: Warfighter would be granted early beta access to the game. The release date is set for October 29.
The following weapons can be seen in the trailers and promos of Battlefield 4:
Handguns
Beretta M9
A player can be seen firing a Beretta M9 with an odd ring sight in one of the E3 trailers. It is one of the two sidearms in the beta.
Colt M1911
The Colt M1911 can be seen in the kill feed in the gamescom trailer
CZ 75
The CZ 75 has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. A "Mastery" Dog-Tag for the weapon is also present on the Battlelog website
FN Five-seveN
The FN Five-seveN has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. A "Mastery" Dog-Tag is also present for the weapon on the Battlelog website.
Glock 17
The soldier in the promo picture seems to be holding a Glock 17 with a flashlight or laser sight attached to it. It is also seen very briefly at about 3:23 in the gameplay demo, when drawn by an allied character. As of the Beta(2 October 2013), there is no Dog- Tag present for the weapon on the Battlelog website.
Glock 18
The Glock 18 has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. A "Mastery" Dog-Tag is also present for the weapon on the Battlelog website.
Heckler & Koch HK45C
The Heckler & Koch HK45C has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. It is listed as the "Compact 45". A "Mastery" Dog-Tag is also present for the weapon on the Battlelog website.
MP-412 REX
In the first sequence of the 17 minutes gameplay, Dunn gives an MP-412 REX to shoot the windshield of the car. A "Mastery" Dog-Tag is also present for the weapon on the Battlelog website.
Norinco QSZ-92-5.8
The QSZ-92-5.8 appears in Battlefield 4 as the standard sidearm of the PLA faction. A "Mastery" Dog-Tag is also present for the weapon on the Battlelog website.
SIG-Sauer P226R
The SIG-Sauer P226R has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events, and is one of two sidearms available in the Beta.
Taurus Model 44
The Taurus Model 44 (once again listed as the ".44 Magnum") has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. A "Mastery" Dog-Tag is also present for the weapon on the Battlelog website.
Submachine Guns
Beretta Mx4 Storm
The Beretta Mx4 Storm, the select-fire military variant of the Cx4 has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. It is listed simply as the "Mx4".
CZ SCORPION EVO 3 A1
The CZ SCORPION EVO 3 A1 appears as the "CZ-3A1", and has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. A "Mastery" Dog-Tag is also present for the weapon on the Battlelog website.
FN P90 TR
In the last sequence of the E3 multiplayer trailer, a soldier performs a counter-melee attack and an FN P90 pick-up is seen. A "Mastery" Dog-Tag is also present for the weapon on the Battlelog website.
Heckler & Koch UMP9
The Heckler & Koch UMP9 has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. As of 2 October 2013, there is no Dog Tag present for this weapon on the Battlelog website.
Heckler & Koch UMP45
The Heckler & Koch UMP45 has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. Unlike the UMP9, there is a "Mastery" Dog-Tag on the Battlelog website.
Jian She Type-05
The Jian She Type-05 has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. It is presumably the starting weapon for the PLA Engineer class. A "Mastery" Dog-Tag is also present for the weapon on the Battlelog website.
PP-2000
The PP-2000 has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. It is presumably the starting weapon of the Russian Engineer class. This time around, it has a 44-round magazine by default. It is an unlockable PDW in the Beta.
Saab Bofors Dynamics CBJ-MS
The Saab Bofors Dynamics CBJ-MS has been seen in the "Levolution" trailer, as well as in multiple public multiplayer events. A "Mastery" Dog-Tag is also present for the weapon on the Battlelog website.
Shotguns
Daewoo Precision Industries USAS-12
The Daewoo Precision Industries USAS-12 appears in the game as a battle pickup. It is available for use in the Beta, and there is a "Mastery" Dog-Tag on the Battlelog website.
DBV-12
The DBV-12 (an AK-12 modified to fire shotgun shells) appears in the "Paracel Storm" trailer. It has also been seen in multiple public multiplayer events.
Franchi SPAS-12
The Franchi SPAS-12 has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. It is pump-action, just like in the Bad Company series and Battlefield 3.
Hawk 97-2
The Hawk 97-2 shotgun is seen in an E3 trailer. It is called the "Hawk 12G".
M26 Modular Accessory Shotgun System
The M26 Modular Accessory Shotgun System appears in the "This is Battlefield 4 Multiplayer" trailer. It is an unlockable attachment for the Assault Kit in the Beta, and has a "Mastery" Dog-Tag on the Battlelog website.
QBS-09
The QBS-09 appears in the hands of a PLA Engineer soldier in one of three promotional stills showing off the different classes. It is an unlockable weapon in the Beta, and it has a "Mastery" Dog-Tag on the Battlelog website.
Remington 870 MCS
The Remington 870 MCS appears in a Gamespot video showing off all the weapons and gadgets in the game. It is an unlockable weapon in the Beta, and has a "Mastery" Dog-Tag on the Battlelog.
Saiga-12K
Recker uses a Saiga-12K in the "Angry Sea" trailer. A "Mastery" Dog-Tag is also present for the weapon on the Battlelog website.
Serbu Super Shorty
In the gameplay demo, the player character is seen using an 870 Serbu Super Shorty with a Trijicon RMR sight. It seems to be quite powerful. Has a correct 2+1 capacity, and as with the 870MCS in Battlefield 3, is chamberloaded when empty. It is called the "Shorty 12G" in-game, and is available in multiplayer as a sidearm.
UTAS UTS-15
The UTAS UTS-15 appears in the "Levolution" trailer. A "Mastery" Dog-Tag is also present for the weapon on the Battlelog website, and is labled as "UTS-15"
Assault Rifles & Battle Rifles
5.56A-91
The 5.56A-91 has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. It once again has the incorrect designation of "A-91", but this time around, it seems to also be incorrectly chambered in 5.45x39mm, although this may just be an early error in the pre-beta build of the game. It is once again classified as a carbine, and therefore an all-kit version in the game.
AEK-971
When Recker is falling through the building, an AEK-971 is seen on the ground. A "Mastery" Dog-Tag is also present for the weapon on the Battlelog website.
AK-12
The AK-12 has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. It appears to replace the AK-74M from Battlefield 3 as the starting weapon of the Russian assault class. It is the starting weapon for both factions in the Beta.
AKU-12
A shortened-down carbine version of the AK-12 also appears in the game, and has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. There is no Dog-Tag for the weapon on the Battlelog as of 2 October 2013.
Bofors Ak 5C
The Bofors Ak 5C is seen during "Angry Sea" singleplayer gameplay reveal, and during Siege of Shanghai multiplayer footage. It is an unlockable weapon in the Beta, and thus has a Dog-Tag on the Battlelog.
Bushmaster ACR
According to videos of multiple public multiplayer events, the short-barreled version of the Bushmaster ACR returns from Battlefield 3, but it appears to be chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO this time around. It is an unlockable weapon in the Beta, and does the same damage as the Ak5c according to the Battlelog, seemingly confirming it is chambered in 5.56x45mm.
CIS SAR 21
The CIS SAR 21 is seen in the "Battlelog" trailer and in the "Levolution" trailer, as well as in multiple public multiplayer events. A "Mastery" Dog-Tag is also present for the weapon on the Battlelog website.
Colt M16A4
Recker is seen using an M16A4 with different accessories attached, including an Elcan M145 3.4x scope and SureFire 45-degree Rapid Transition back-up iron sights. It is listed as the "M16A3", is fully automatic, and once again seems to be the starting weapon of the USMC Assault class, just like in Battlefield 3. However, according to recent tweets from the lead core gameplay designer for the game, the M16A3 that will be used in multiplayer is actually mislabeled and will be the three-round burst M16A4.
Colt M4A1 Carbine
Pack uses a M4A1 during the gameplay demo. The Dog-Tag present on the Battlelog is labled "M4", meaning the fully automatic M4A1 may join the M16A3 in exclusion from the game.
CZ 805 BREN
During the Battlefield 4 multiplayer reveal in E3, a character is seen holding a CZ 805 BREN with several attachments including an M320 grenade launcher. It has also been seen in multiple public multiplayer events.
FAMAS FELIN
The FAMAS FELIN appears in the "Battlelog" trailer. A "Mastery" Dog-Tag is present for the weapon on the Battlelog website.
FN SCAR-H
The FN SCAR-H appears in the "Battlelog" trailer. As confirmed by the Gamespot video showing off all the weapons and gadgets in the game, there are two versions of this rifle in the game — an assault rifle version and a longer-barreled designated marksman rifle version, called the "SCAR-H SV" in-game. The Assault Rifle version is an unlockable weapon in the Beta, but the DMR version is absent in both the Beta and on the Battlelog as of 2 October 2013.
Heckler & Kock G36C
The Heckler & Koch G36C is shown at multiple public multiplayer events. Also shown in the kill feed in the "Paracel Storm" trailer.
Heckler & Koch HK416
Seen in the "Fishing in Baku" gameplay demo. Notably, the HK416 now has a longer barrel (probably a 14.5"), and current-gen HK buttstock and grip. In all previous Battlefield titles, it was outfitted with a 10.4" barrel and standard M4 furniture. It is still called the "M416".
IMI Galil ACE 21
The IMI Galil ACE 21 appears in the hands of the player in the "Paracel Storm" trailer as the "ACE 21 CQB". It is classified as a carbine, and is therefore an all-kit weapon.
IMI Galil ACE 23
The IMI Galil ACE 23 has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. It is classified as an assault rifle, and therefore only usable by the Assault class.
IMI Galil ACE 52
The IMI Galil Ace 52 has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. It appears as the "ACE 52 CQB" and is classified as a carbine, meaning that it is therefore an all-kit weapon.
IMI Galil ACE 53
The IMI Galil Ace 53 appears in a Gamespot video showing off all the weapons and gadgets in the game. It appears as the "ACE 53 SV" and is classified as a designated marksman rifle, meaning that is therefore an all-kit weapon.
Kel-Tec RFB
The Kel-Tec RFB is shown in multiple public multiplayer events, and is also seen in the killfeed of the "Paracel Storm" trailer. It is used as a designated marksman rifle.
M59/66 SKS
The Yugoslavian M59/66 variant of the SKS rifle returns from Battlefield 3 as a designated marksman rifle in Battlefield 4, as shown in the Gamespot video showing off all the weapons and gadgets in the game.
Magpul PDR-C
The Magpul PDR-C returns from Battlefield 3, this time as an Engineer-only PDW.
Norinco QBZ-95-1
The Norinco QBZ-95-1 is the starting weapon of the PLA Assault class.
Norinco QBZ-95B
Shown in the kill feed in the Paracel Storm Trailer, listed as "Type 95 carbine". It has also been seen in multiple public multiplayer events.
SIG SG 553
The SIG SG 553 appears in a Gamespot video showing off all the weapons and gadgets in the game.
Steyr AUG A3
The Steyr AUG A3 is seen in the "Battlelog" trailer and in multiple public multiplayer events.
SVK-12
A designated marksman rifle version of the AK-12 has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. It is unknown what kind of ammunition it uses, but it does have a 15-round magazine.
Machine Guns
Heckler & Koch MG4
The Heckler & Koch MG4 appears in the "Paracel Storm" trailer and the "Levolution" trailer, and has also been seen in multiple public multiplayer events.
LSAT Light Machine Gun
The LSAT LMG has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events.
M240B
The M240B has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events.
Mk 46 Mod 0
During the gameplay demo, Irish is seen wielding an Mk 46 Mod 0. It features a picatinny rail system and a collapsible stock. It also appears in multiplayer as the "M249".
Norinco QBB-95-1
The Norinco QBB-95-1 has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. It may be the starting weapon for the PLA Support class.
Norinco QJY-88
In one of the many trailers shown during E3 2013, a Chinese soldier is holding a Norinco QJY-88 while going up in an elevator. It has also been seen in multiple public multiplayer events.
PKP Pecheneg
The PKP Pecheneg can be seen in the hands of the Russian Support class in one of the promotional pictures for the classes in the game. It has also been seen in multiple public multiplayer events.
RPK-12
The RPK version of the AK-12 has been confirmed by several trailers and gameplay videos to be in the game. It has what appears to be a 60-round quad-stack casket magazine. A light machine gun version of the AK-12 is yet to be produced in real life, although it is a planned future variant.
STK Ultimax 100 Mark 5
Recker picks up and uses a Ultimax 100 Mark 5 during the Angry Sea trailer. It also appears in multiplayer, and may be the starting weapon for the PLA Support class.
Sniper Rifles
Barrett M82A3
The Barrett M82A3 is a so-called "Battle Pickup" in the game, called the "M82A3 MID", or "M82A3 CQB", depending on its configuration. It can be seen in the "Paracel Storm" trailer, as it takes out an enemy on a water scooter.
Barrett Model 98 Bravo
The Barrett Model 98 Bravo has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events, once again called the "M98B".
Cheyenne Tactical M-200 Intervention
The Cheyenne Tactical M-200 Intervention has been seen in the "This is Battlefield 4 Multiplayer" trailer, as well as in an "Only in Battlefield 4" video and in multiple public multiplayer events. It is called the "SRR-61" in the game, named for the Jordanian 61st Special Reconnaissance Regiment, or SRR-61, who use the rifle.
Desert Tactical Arms Stealth Recon Scout
The Desert Tactical Arms Stealth Recon Scout has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. It's called the "338 Recon" in-game.
FY-JS
The FY-JS appears in the hands of a PLA Recon character in a promotional image.
Izhmash SV-98
The Izhmash SV-98 appears in the hands of the Russian Recon character in one of the three images showing off the different classes, and appears to be the starting weapon for the Russian Recon class.
Jian She CS/LR4
The Jian She CS/LR4 has been has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events, and appears to be the starting weapon for the PLA Recon class.
M39 EMR
In the promo picture the soldier is holding what appears to be an M39 EMR attached with a series of accessories, including a bipod, a sound suppressor and a scope. It appears in multiplayer as a designated marksman rifle.
M40A5
The M40A5 appears in the hands of the USMC Recon character in one of the three images showing off the different classes, and appears to be the starting weapon for the USMC Recon class. It has also been seen in multiple public multiplayer events.
Mk 11 Mod 0
The Mk 11 Mod 0 is seen in a Gamespot video showing off all the weapons and gadgets in the game.
MKEK JNG-90
The MKEK JNG-90 has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events.
Steyr Elite
In the Battlefield 4 live stream, the Steyr Elite is seen in the hands of the Recon class. According to the Gamespot video showing off all the weapons and gadgets in the game, it is the 5.56x45mm version.
Launchers
FGM-148 Javelin
The FGM-148 Javelin has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events.
FGM-172 SRAW
The FGM-172 SRAW returns from Battlefield 2 and is once again (incorrectly) depicted as being wire-guided. It can be seen at the beginning of the "Levolution" trailer, and has also been seen in multiple public multiplayer events.
FIM-92A Stinger
After the player disembarks the helicopter in the E3 multiplayer demo, a soldier is seen running with an FIM-92A Stinger. It has also been seen in multiple public multiplayer events.
Heckler & Koch M320
Near the end of the singleplayer demo, the player fires a Heckler & Koch M320 from a car's driver seat. It has also been seen in multiple public multiplayer events.
Heckler & Koch XM25
In the live stream of Battlefield 4 during E3, players can be seen equipped with an Heckler & Koch XM25. It is usable by the Support class only.
MBT LAW
The MBT LAW has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events..
Milkor MGL Mk 1S
Recker is also seen wielding a Milkor MGL Mk 1S with Picatinny rails and reflex sights. The reloading animation depicts only 3 grenades being reloaded, even if the whole 6 grenades have been fired. This may be because Recker is loading in 2 grenades at a time. It is available as a Battle Pickup in multiplayer.
Mk 153 Mod 0 SMAW
The Mk 153 Mod 0 SMAW has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events.
RPG-7
The RPG-7 has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events, once again called the "RPG-7V2".
SA-18 Grouse
The SA-18 Grouse has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. It is once again called the "SA-18 Igla".
Starstreak HVM
The Starstreak High Velocity Missiles MANPADS is available as a battle pickup in the game. It has only two shots and can engage both aircraft and armor.
Explosives
M2 SLAM
The M2 SLAM appears in a Gamespot video showing off all the weapons and gadgets in the game. It is usable by the Engineer class.
M15 anti-tank mine
The M15 anti-tank mine appears in a Gamespot video showing off all the weapons and gadgets in the game. It is once again only usable by the Engineer class.
M18 smoke grenade
The M18 smoke grenade has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. It can be equipped instead of the M67 grenade.
M18A1 Claymore
The M18A1 Claymore appears in a Gamespot video showing off all the weapons and gadgets in the game. It is usable by the Support and Recon classes.
M34 White Phosphorous grenade
The M34 White Phosphorous grenade has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. It can be equipped instead of the M67 grenade. It is called the "M34 Incendiary".
M67 fragmentation hand grenade
M67 hand grenades are used in the 17-minute gameplay.
M84 stun grenade
The M84 stun grenade has been seen in multiple public multiplayer events. It can be equipped instead of the M67 grenade. It's called the "M84 Flashbang".
Mounted Weapons
General Dynamics GAU-17/A
In the gameplay demo, when Recker and his squad try to board the UH-1Y Venom a pair of GAU-17/A's can be briefly seen mounted on each side of the helicopter.
General Dynamics M197 Vulcan
In several trailers and promo pictures, the M197 Vulcan is seen mounted on a AH-1Z Viper.
Kord
The Kord heavy machine gun is seen mounted on a vehicle. Recker also uses it to engage Russian ground forces.
M242 Bushmaster chaingun
In the background appears an LAV-25 fitted with an M242 Bushmaster chaingun.
Shipunov 24A2
During the gameplay video, Recker's squad is being chased and shot at by an Mi-28 Havoc armed with a Shipunov 2A42 autocannon.
