Info

Developed by Nazi Germany in 1942 it was known as the MP-43, MP-44 (despite it being a full-sized rifle, not a submachine gun as the 'MP' designation would indicate), as well as the StG-44 as development on the rifle progressed. The rifle is the first "assault rifle" developed which can shoot medium power "intermediate" ammunition, and was the precursor of all the world's major assault rifles, notably the AK-47 and the Heckler & Koch G3.

The Sturmgewehr 44 assault rifle appears in the following movies, video games, and anime used by the following actors:

Sturmgewehr 44 - 7.92x33mm
Sturmgewehr MKB42(H) - 7.92x33mm
