Skyfall marks the 23rd entry in the official James Bond film series and the 50th anniversary of the premiere of Dr. No. Daniel Craig returns for the third time as Agent 007, who is given the assignment of tracking down a cyberterrorist who threatens to reveal the identities of deep cover agents. The 2012 film was directed by Sam Mendes, who previously directed Craig in Road to Perdition. The cast includes Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, and Naomie Harris in addition to Judi Dench, returning for her seventh outing in the role of M.
WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!
The following weapons were used in the film Skyfall:
Handguns
Walther PPK/S
James Bond (Daniel Craig) carries the Walther PPK as his main sidearm in the film. Field Agent Eve (Naomie Harris) also is seen using a PPK. Bond has carried the PPK since Dr. No until the first half of Tomorrow Never Dies where he switched his sidearm to the Walther P99. However, since Quantum of Solace, Bond appears to have switched back to the PPK. Q (Ben Whishaw) calls the pistol a "PPK/S nine-millimeter short" and states that the gun is coded to Bond's palm print so that only he could fire it. After losing the palm print reading model in Macau, Bond carries a regular PPK when back in the UK. It is later used by M (Judi Dench) in the finale when Silva's men attack Skyfall Lodge.
Glock 17
Glock 17s are used by numerous characters including James Bond (Daniel Craig), Gareth Mallory (Ralph Fiennes), Eve (Naomie Harris) and various henchmen. A suppressed Glock is seen used by Patrice in Shanghai. They are also the standard pistol carried by SCO19 Firearms Officers in London and armed police officers at a public inquiry attended by M (Judi Dench). Raoul Silva (Javier Bardem) and his crew use Glock 17's while disguised as police officers.
Glock 18C
Patrice (Ola Rapace) is seen firing a Glock 18C loaded with "depleted uranium" rounds at Bond and Eve in Turkey. He initially uses a 100-round Beta-C drum magazine, but later switches to extended 33-round ones during the train chase. In Shanghai Patrice uses the Glock in semi-auto and supressed.
Percussion Cap Ardesa 1871 Dueling Pistols
During a confrontation with Bond on the island, Silva is seen taking out a one of his reproduction Percussion Cap Ardesa 1871 Dueling Pistols and challenges Bond to knock a shot glass off a person's head with it. Silva also is seen holding the pistol.
Steyr M9-A1
Raoul Silva (Javier Bardem) carries a Steyr M9-A1 during the climax of the film. A Steyr M9-A1 is also briefly seen being used by a henchman at the Macau casino.
Beretta Model 70
While not clearly seen, Bond mentions during a meeting with Sévérine (Bérénice Marlohe) that it takes a certain kind of woman to wear a backless gown with a Beretta 70 strapped to her thigh.
Assault Rifles & Carbines
Heckler & Koch HK416 D10RS
Raoul Silva's henchmen use Heckler & Koch HK416 assault rifles during the attack on Skyfall Lodge. Two are also used by James Bond (Daniel Craig) after disarming multiple henchmen in the same scene.
Heckler & Koch G36C
SCO19 officers from the Metropolitan Police Service are seen holding Heckler & Koch G36C rifles while patrolling Westminster station.
Olympic Arms K23B Tactical
Eve uses an Olympic Arms K23B Tactical with a FAB defense "GL-Shock" stock and a red dot sight during a train chase sequence in Turkey. The K23B Tactical is basically a K23B with a railed handguard and removable carrying handle.
M4A1 Carbine
MI6 Security Officers stationed at the agency's underground backup headquarters carry M4A1 carbines.
Submachine Guns
Heckler and Koch MP7A1
Two of Silva's henchmen at the abandoned island carry Heckler & Koch MP7A1 submachine guns.
Sniper Rifles
Custom Sniper Rifle
Patrice (Ola Rapace) uses a custom bolt action suppressed sniper rifle when assassinating a target in Shanghai. The bolt action is seen being worked, but during a fight, the rifle appears to be fire semi-automatically.
Shotguns
Anderson Wheeler 500 NE Double Rifle
During the assault on Skyfall Lodge, Bond uses his deceased father's Anderson Wheeler Double Rifle chambered in .500 Nitro Express. Anderson Wheeler is a London-based maker of luxury rifles and shotguns whose custom made double rifles are also available in calibers from .375 to .600. Bond's depiction of recoil is akin to that of a nail gun, despite the mammoth cartridge.
Colt Model 1878
Mr. Kincade (Albert Finney), gamekeeper of the Skyfall Estate carries a Colt Model 1878 shotgun. In preperation for impending the attack on Skyfall Lodge, he saws down the barrel to achieve greater spread.
Machine Guns
Browning M2HB
A Browning M2HB heavy machine gun mounted on an Agusta-Westland AW101 helicopter is used by Silva's henchmen to shoot up Skyfall Lodge.
Aston Martin Machine Guns
Bond utilizes machine guns mounted underneath the lights of his customized DB5 when Silva's men attempt to storm Skyfall Lodge. While Bond was seen winning the DB5 in Casino Royale (2006), the machine guns are a reference to the earlier Bond film Goldfinger, where the Aston Martin driven by Bond had the same armaments.
Other
AN/M14 Incendiary Grenade
Silva tosses AN/M14 incendiary grenades into Skyfall Lodge during the climax.
