Glock 19

The Glock 19 is the sidearm carried by the majority of NYPD detectives in the Special Victims Unit including Detective Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni), Detective Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay), Detective John Munch (Richard Belzer), and Detective Odafin "Fin" Tutuola (Ice-T).

In Season 4's premiere "Chameleon" (S4E01), Maggie Peterson (Sharon Lawrence) uses a Heckler & Koch P7M8.

Smith & Wesson 5946

Ray Bevins (Joe Morton) uses a Smith & Wesson 5946 in "Grief" (S4E23).

Revolvers

Smith & Wesson Model 36

Capt. Donald Cragen (Dann Florek) is seen with a Smith & Wesson Model 36 as his sidearm in Season 4, notably drawing it in "Risk" (S4E12). In "Grief" (S4E23), the revolver is used by a victim to commit suicide with, and is identified as a "Smith & Wesson Model 36" by CSU.

In "Grief" (S4E23), Sgt. Munch (Richard Belzer) holds up the revolver used by a victim to commit suicide. The handgun in the episode is identified as a "Smith & Wesson Model 36" by CSU.

Submachine Guns

Heckler & Koch MP5A3

The NYPD ESU Officers throughout the series use Heckler & Koch MP5A3s as one of their main weapons. They are fitted with various attachments, such as scopes or tactical flashlights.

Rifles

Colt M4A1 Carbine

The M4A1 Carbine is a frequent weapon carried by members of the NYPD's Emergency Services Unit (ESU) throughout the series. They are fitted with various optics including EOTech sights and M68 Aimpoint scopes.

M16A2 rifles are seen in a store display in "Raw" (S7E06).

In "Raw" (S7E06), Detective Eliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) looks at several weapons including M16A2 rifles. One of the rifles appears to be an MGC replica.
