Law & Order: Special Victims Unit - Season 15
The following lists the weapons seen in Season 15 of the series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit:
Handguns
Glock 19
The Glock 19 is carried by the majority of NYPD detectives in the Special Victims Unit including Detective (later Sergeant) Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay), Detective Sergeant John Munch (Richard Belzer), Detective Odafin "Fin" Tutuola (Ice-T), Detective Nick Amaro (Danny Pino) and Detective Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish). Captain Donald Cragen (Dann Florek) is sometimes seen carrying one in some episodes. Uniformed NYPD Officers are seen using Glock 19s as well. Like many television shows and films, many times when a Glock is seen being drawn, the sound effect of a hammer cocking is heard (despite the fact that Glocks are hammerless).
Glock 17
In Season 15's premiere "Surrender Benson" (S15E01), William Lewis (Pablo Schreiber) is seen threatening Olivia with a Glock 17 pistol. Lewis had been seen with a Ruger in Season 14's finale. Olivia later is seen with this Glock pistol in the same episode.
Kahr K9
Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish) pulls a Kahr K9 Stainless in "Gambler's Fallacy" (S15E17). This pistol also is seen in the hands of Declan in the episode.
Colt Gold Cup National Match
Declan picks up what appears to be a stainless Colt Gold Cup National Match in "Gambler's Fallacy" (S15E17).
Smith & Wesson Model 64
In "Beast's Obsession" (S15E20), both William Lewis (Pablo Schreiber) and Benson are seen using a Smith & Wesson Model 64 to play Russian Roulette.
Rifles/Carbines
Colt M4A1 Carbine
The M4A1 Carbine is a frequent weapon carried by members of the NYPD's Emergency Services Unit (ESU) throughout the series. They are fitted with various optics including EOTech sights and M68 Aimpoint scopes.
