The following lists the weapons seen in Season 1 of the series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit:
Glock 19
The Glock 19 is the sidearm carried by the majority of NYPD detectives in the Special Victims Unit including Detective Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni), Detective Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay), Detective John Munch (Richard Belzer), and Detective Brian Cassidy (Dean Winters). Like many television shows and films, every time a Glock is seen being drawn, the sound effect of a hammer cocking is heard (despite the fact that Glocks are hammerless).
Gun Store Firearms
In "Entitled" (S1E15), Detective Munch and Detective Monique Jeffries (Michelle Hurd) are seen visiting a gun store where several rifles and handguns are displayed.
