What If...? is the 2021 animated US streaming series based on the Marvel Comics series of the same name. The series asks the question of what would happen if one event in the MCU occurred in a different way. What If...? features the voice of Jeffrey Wright as Uatu (aka The Watcher), and many MCU actors voice their characters in the series. It is the fourth television series of Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The series is set after the events of Loki and is a precursor to future the MCU feature films Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness which, together with WandaVision and Loki, is included in the Multiverse story arc.

The series is being produced by Marvel Studios and was released on the streaming service Disney+ on August 11, 2021 and premiered 9 episodes until October 6, 2021. Season 2 was announced in December 2019 and all 9 episodes were streamed on Disney+ over 9 consecutive nights, beginning on December 22, 2023. A third season was announced to be in development at San Diego Comic-Con 2022.
