Octopussy is the 13th entry in the official James Bond film series. The 1983 installment follows James Bond (Roger Moore) as he travels to India and West Germany while investigating the death of a "00" agent who was in possession of a rare Fabergé egg. Of note is the switch from Bond's traditional Walther PPK to the then-new Walther P5 and for one of the earliest appearances of the Steyr AUG. Octopussy was also released the same year Sean Connery returned to the role of Bond in the rival film Never Say Never Again.
The following weapons were used in the film Octopussy:
Handguns
Colt Government
In the opening sequence, a bearded, hefty, lascivious cigar-smoking South American V.I.P. (Brian Coburn) (suspiciously a Fidel Castro look-alike), and Bond (Roger Moore) is seen with holstered Colt Covernment pistols. After getting caught trying to plant a bomb inside the hangar, Bond's gun is taken by a South American Officer (Michael Halphie) who holds it to his back and takes him into custody.
Astra Cub
The opening credits feature the nickel plated Astra Cub with pearl grips. Octopussy (Maud Adams) carries one during the attack on Kamal Khan's palace that is knocked out of her hand by Gobinda.
PM
The PM feature prominently in the opening credits.
Walther P5
The Walther P5 is the sidearm of James Bond (Roger Moore) in this film, despite having told Q that he "mislaid my PPK". The P5's use was to appease Walther, who wanted to promote the new pistol. Interesting to note is that the P5 was the same pistol used by Sean Connery in Never Say Never Again, the rival film version of Bond released the same year as Octopussy.
Edison Giocattoli S.p.A. Exact
The opening credits also feature an Supermatic cap gun made by Edison Giocattoli S.p.A. called the Exact that is held by the hand of one of the many arms entangling an silhouetted James Bond.
Walther PPK
Bond's trusted Walther PPK also makes an appearance in the opening credits.
Edison Giocattoli S.p.A. Jaguarmatic
Another Edison Giocattoli S.p.A. Supermatic cap gun called the Jaguarmatic makes an appearance in the opening credits.
TT
General Orlov (Steven Berkoff) carries the TT in his holster. He uses it to smash an Fabergé egg to pieces as it has caused them problems by leading Bond on to them.
Smith & Wesson Model 39-2
Kamal Khan (Louis Jourdan) is using an Smith & Wesson Model 39-2 on the train.
SIG P210
Kamal's gun turns in to an SIG P210 as filming switches from studio to on location at the railroad,
Colt Python
One of the U.S. Air Force Base security police guards manning the gate at the West German U.S. Air Force base carries the Colt Python, which he draws on Bond when he attempts to enter with the German Police hot on his tail after stealing the car he is in. Because of the many civilians milling around, the guard is forced to fire his six shots into the air, to alert his comrades to the security threat.
Smith & Wesson Model 36
Octopussy (Maud Adams) takes the Smith & Wesson Model 36 from one of the U.S. Air Force base security police guards at the circus and uses it to blow the lock off the base of the circus cannon, revealing the atomic bomb inside.
Shotguns
Gobinda's Side by Side Shotgun
As he pursues Bond through the streets of Rajasthan, India, Gobinda (Kabir Bedi) is armed with an 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun with a huge fluted muzzle resembling a blunderbuss.
Assault/Battle Rifles
FN FAL
Dressed as Colonel Toro, Bond (Roger Moore) passes some South American soldiers carrying FN FAL battle rifles in the opening scenes. They are also seen carried by guards at the British Embassy in West Berlin and by some of Kamal Khan's guards in India.
AR-18
Some of the South American soldiers can be seen with AR-18 assault rifles in the opening sequence.
MGC M16
South American soldiers mostly wield Japanese MGC M16 replica rifles with 20 round magazines. The soldiers guarding James Bond (Roger Moore) after his capture are armed with these M16s, after Bond pulls their parachute ripcords, he commandeers one of the soldiers' rifles (which becomes a blank-firing AR-15 Sporter at that moment).
AR-15 Sporter
After pulling the soldiers parachute ripcords, sending them up into the air, Bond (Roger Moore) commandeers one of their rifles, now a blank-firing AR-15 Sporter, and uses it to shoot out the truck's left front tire, causing it to crash. Another AR-15 Sporter rifle appears later on in the hands of one of the soldiers watching the missile being fired.
M22
All of the Soviet soldiers accompanying General Orlov (Steven Berkoff) to India is armed with M22 assault rifles. Border guards and some of the Soviet soldiers in East Germany are seen armed with these as well.
Armi Jager Model AP 80
In East Germany most of the Soviet soldiers is carrying the .22 calibre Armi Jager Model AP 80 semiautomatic rifle made in Italy.
Steyr AUG
Oddly, carbine versions of the Steyr AUGs are used by a few Soviet soldiers in the movie. This is likely the earliest appearance of the Steyr AUG in a Hollywood film.
AKM
Soviet soldiers are also seen with some genuine AKM assault rifles.
Sa vz. 58 P
Some of the Soviet soldiers are seen with the Sa vz. 58 P assault rifle.
AKS
The Soviet soldier inspecting the coupé of the recovered Mercedes is seen with an AKS at his side. During the final fight at Kamal Khan's palace, one of his guards can also be seen with one as they're trying to kill Bond who's pursuing his foe as he tries to escape.
Sa vz. 58 V
One Soviet soldier is seen with an Sa vz. 58 V as General Gogol (Walter Gotell) asks another soldier for General Orlov's whereabouts after seeing the contents of the trunk of his Mercedes. Kamal Khan's guard is also seen with one, using it to shoot at Bond (Roger Moore) who kills him, takes the gun, and uses it (most notably while sliding down the banister).
Rifles & Carbines
SKS
Soviet guards at the art depositry and some of Kamal Khan's guards can be seen with SKS carbines.
Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk.I
Most of Kamal Khan's guards use the Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk.I battle rifles.

Kamal Khan (Louis Jourdan) carries an Weatherby Mark V as his men search for Bond.
Machine Guns
FN MAG
In the opening sequence, after overwhelming and escaping his captors, Bond (Roger Moore) is chased by South American soldiers in Dodge M37 Jeeps. One of the vehicles has an FN MAG mounted in the back. The barrel of another MAG is seen later mounted on top of some other vehicle by one of the soldiers outside the hangar just as its about to go up in smoke.
M60
Due to an continuity error, the M60 machine gun is seen mounted in the back of one of the M37s after the they have ended up in the ditch and is used by the soldiers to fire at Bond's plane.
Other Weapons
BSA Scorpion spring powered air pistol
Octopussy (Maud Adams) and her team use specialized air pistols (BSA Scorpion) loaded with tranquilizers to fight off Kamal Khan's men.
