Beyond The Wire is an upcoming tactical team-based first-person shooter video game set in the First World War, developed by Redstone Interactive and published by Offworld Interactive, the creators of Squad and Post Scriptum.

Mauser Gewehr 1898
The Mauser Gewehr 1898 will be the standard rifle for the German faction and it is seen named "Gewehr 1898" in the Alpha. A scoped version will be also available with the Glasvisier 16, like in Screaming Steel: 1914-1918. The Karabingranate 1917 is also confirmed along with the Mauser grenade launcher.
R.S.C. Mle. 1917
A R.S.C. Mle 1917 was added in the 0.9 Update as the alternative main weapon of the French Republic.

The American .30-06 American Conversion variant of the Chauchat is available for the AEF.

The Hotchkiss M1909 was confirmed as the second French light machine gun.
Lewis Gun
The Lewis Gun is the standard issue LMG of the BEF, and also appears in the various destroyed Mark IV tanks that decorate certain maps.
Madsen M1902
The light machine guns for the Germans will be the Madsen M1902.
Maxim MG 08
The Maxim MG08 fitted with the Patronenkasten 16 belt drum and Panzermantel (armored jacket) with a barrel shield is the stationary HMG for the German Empire.

The Karabingranate 1917 rifle grenades are fired from the Mauser Schießbecher für Gewehrgranate 17, the German counterpart of the 1916 French Vivien-Bessière Tromblon (see below).

The Model 16 Stielhandgranate, appears as the "Stielhandgranate M1916", comes with an early warhead from a Model 15 which was not uncommon during WWI. A Geballte Ladung will be also available.
Handnebelbombe
The Handnebelbombe smoke grenade will be in the game as the "Hand-Nebelbombe". It is also seen attached to the uniform belt of German officers.
