Rick Grimes ([[Andrew Lincoln]]) continues to use his six-inch barreled [[Colt Python]] in Season 3. He first carries it in a holster in "Seed" (S3E01) and then threatens inmates during a conflict in "Sick" (S3E02). <!--Rick uses his Colt Python to fire at walkers and at prison speakers in "Killer Within" (S3E04), the latter where he holds his gun with two hands rather than with one like he usually does. Oscar ([[Vincent Ward]]) also is seen using Rick's revolver in "Killer Within" (S3E04). Rick uses his Colt Python to kill a few walkers in the beginning of "When the Dead Come Knockin" (S3E07). Rick briefly uses his Colt Python revolver during "Made to Suffer" (S3E08). Rick holds his Colt Python on Michonne ([[Danai Gurira]]) in "The Suicide King" (S3E09). Rick draws and fires his Colt Python at Walkers when his M4A1 runs dry in "Home" (S3E10). Rick fires and reloads his revolver in "Clear" (S3E12). The Python is also used in the Season 3 finale "Welcome to the Tombs" (S3E16).-->

Along with his BDA, Carl Grimes ([[Chandler Riggs]]) uses a [[Beretta 92FS]] with a improvised suppressor during the Season 3. He shoots walkers in "Seed" (S3E01) during a sweep of the prison yard. In the same episode, the group find several pistols in the armory and Rick ([[Andrew Lincoln]]) and T-Dog ([[IronE Singleton]]) are briefly seen handling one. Andrea's ([[Laurie Holden]]) new companion named Michonne ([[Danai Gurira]]) gives her gun back to her at the military helicopter crash site at the beginning of "Walk With Me" (S3E03). A member of Woodbury's army named Shumpert aka "The Bowman" ([[Travis Love]]), as well as Private Wilson (Matthew Austin Murray) and another unnamed National Guardsman (Bob Fisher) carry pistols in holsters in the same episode. <!--Andrea is later seen using it again in "Made to Suffer" (S3E08). Rick Grimes ([[Andrew Lincoln]]) takes Andrea's Beretta as she enters the prison in "I Ain't a Judas" (S3E11). Andrea gives up her Beretta in "Prey" (S3E14). The Governor opens fire with a [[Steyr AUG]] A1 in "Home" (S3E10), hitting one of the prison survivors in the head (an impressive shot, considering it was done at a long distance with a 1.5x magnification scope). Despite his right eye being useless, he still fires right-handed instead of left. The weapon is likely meant to be a full-auto conversion of an AUG SA, a semi-automatic variant of the A1 which was imported to the US for civilian use before being banned in 1989. Fully-automatic AUGs are extremely rare in the United States, as unlike the M4A1 they are not military issue and are not used by any law enforcement entities apart from US Customs and Immigration Enforcement. The civilian variant of the AUG is the STG-556 which has a different  design than the A1. He later uses the rifle in "Welcome to the Tombs" (S3E16).

Smith & Wesson Model 442

In "Sick" (S3E02), one of the prisoners named Tomas (Nick Gomez) is armed with a Smith & Wesson Model 442 that was given to him by a prison guard at the beginning of protests. He threatens Rick's group during their first meeting, but then loses it.

Pistols

Beretta 92FS

Along with his BDA, Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) uses a Beretta 92FS with a improvised suppressor during the Season 3. He shoots walkers in "Seed" (S3E01) during a sweep of the prison yard. In the same episode, the group find several pistols in the armory and Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and T-Dog (IronE Singleton) are briefly seen handling one. Andrea's (Laurie Holden) new companion named Michonne (Danai Gurira) gives her gun back to her at the military helicopter crash site at the beginning of "Walk With Me" (S3E03). A member of Woodbury's army named Shumpert aka "The Bowman" (Travis Love), as well as Private Wilson (Matthew Austin Murray) and another unnamed National Guardsman (Bob Fisher) carry pistols in holsters in the same episode.

Beretta 92SB (Nickel)

Woodbury leader Philip Blake aka "The Governor" (David Morrissey) carries a rare nickel finish Beretta 92SB as his sidearm in Season 3. He fires the pistol during an attack on a National Army camp in "Walk With Me" (S3E03).

Rifles and Carbines

Colt M4A1

Clearing the prison yard of walkers at the beginning of "Seed" (S3E01) Hershel (Scott Wilson) is seen firing an M4A1 with an Aimpoint sight from a watchtower. Another carbine is also found among the weapons in the prison and is briefly handled by T-Dog (IronE Singleton) in the same episode. Most of the National Guardsmen (including Bob Fisher, Philip Dido and Dwayne Boyd) including Private Sean (Troy Faruk) and Private Wilson (Matthew Austin Murray) are armed with rifles in "Walk With Me" (S3E03). One of The Governor's men named Crowley (Arthur Bridgers) uses the M4A1 with an optic scope and camo wrap during the episode. Merle (Michael Rooker) also takes another rifle fitted with a scope and makeshift suppressor from another guard (Dango Nguyen) and kills a walker from the wall at night. The next morning he uses a standard rifle during an attack on a National Army camp.

Hershel fires the M4A1 fitted with a backward mounted Aimpoint sight and fast mag pull in "Seed" (S3E01). Since Rick's group didn't have it at the end of Season 2, they most likely found it, as well as some other weapon, during their 8 month wanderings between seasons.

Private Wilson (Matthew Austin Murray) is the only one armed with an M203-fitted rifle in "Walk With Me" (S3E03), but he doesn't even manage to use it.

Colt Law Enforcement Carbine

Corporal Brady (Gary Weeks) is armed with a Colt Law Enforcement Carbine that is later taken by The Governor (David Morrissey) during the attack on the National Army camp in "Walk With Me" (S3E03).

The Governor (David Morrissey) aims the carbine at a fleeing soldier. The carbine does not have a carry handle or any other rear sights, which makes aiming much more difficult.

WASR-10/63

Tim (Lawrence Kao) uses what appears to be a Romanian WASR during an attack on a National Army camp in "Walk With Me" (S3E03).

WASR-10 UF

Caroll (Melissa McBride) is seen firing what appears to be an WASR-10 UF rifle with railed handguard from a prison watchtower in "Seed" (S3E01). Like the M4A1 above, this rifle was not among their weapons in the previous season, thus was most likely found in between Seasons 2 and 3, as the group was on the move for several months scavenging.

After shooting the walkers Carol comes down from the tower with the rifle in hand.

Sniper Rifles

Remington 700 VLS

Rick (Andrew Lincoln) uses Dale's Remington 700 VLS rifle with a Simmons ProHunter® scope again clearing the prison from walkers in "Seed" (S3E01). Carol also is seen with the rifle in "The Suicide King" (S3E09).

Machine Guns

Browning M2HB

A Browning M2HB machine gun is mounted on a National Guard HMMWV that the Governor brings back to Woodbury in "Walk With Me" (S3E03). It appears to be a mockup identical to the one was fitted on the fake M1 Abrams tank in Season 1.

The M2HB is seen on the left next to the Governor in "Walk With Me" (S3E03). This machine gun appears to be a mockup, judging from the crude mount and no ammo feed present.

Grenade and Rocket Launchers

M203

In "Walk With Me" (S3E03), Private Wilson (Matthew Austin Murray) is armed with an M4A1 affixed with a M203 grenade launcher.

Others

Bows

Arriving at the military helicopter crash site at the beginning of "Walk With Me" (S3E03) Shumpert (Travis Love) shoots a walker with a bow. Another Woodbury guard (Jim Moulton) is seen with a compound bow at the wall.

Horton Scout HD 125

Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) continues to carry his Horton Scout HD 125 crossbow as his weapon of choice in Season 3 and uses it in "Seed" (S3E01) and "Sick" (S3E02).

TRIVIA: During filming of the bridge scene, Norman Reedus accidently broke the Horton Scout HD 125 buttstock when he hit the prop walker. Because of this and also with Reedus finding the Horton crossbow to be clunky and uncomfortable to use, he asked the writers for either a new crossbow or a dog, to which the former was picked, thus giving him the Stryker Strykezone 380.

Stun Grenades

After searching the prison in "Seed" (S3E01), Rick's group finds some stun grenades and later uses them during confrontations with Woodbury.

Some grenades are seen in "Seed" (S3E01).

Weapons Cache & Arsenals

Rick's Bag of Guns

Rick briefly carries another bag with a Mossberg 500 and bolt action rifle in "Seed" (S3E01). Rick's original gun bag from the King County Police Department is seen on one of Michonne's pack walkers at the beginning of "Walk With Me" (S3E03). When they arrive in Woodbury the bag is left with the Governor, who checks the weapons from it in "The Suicide King" (S3E09).
