The Walking Dead: Dead City (formerly known as Isle of the Dead) is the fifth series in The Walking Dead universe created by Scott M. Gimple and Eli Jorné. The series follows Maggie Rhee (Lauren Cohan) as she enters the island of Manhattan in search of her kidnapped son. The woman is forced to cooperate with her former enemy, Negan Smith (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), who is connected to a mysterious kidnapper. The first season was released on June 18, 2023 on AMC+.
