Just a place where I mess around with games that would never usually get a page. Don't expect frequent changes, as this is just something I do when I'm super bored, and what I add frequently changes depending on what I'm interested in on that day.


Titanfall 2

Titanfall 2 is a science-fiction first-person shooter video game and a sequel to Titanfall. It was developed by Respawn Entertainment and was published by Electronic Arts on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows on October 28, 2016. It was released on Steam on June 18, 2020. Unlike Titanfall, Titanfall 2 features a single-player campaign, where you play as Rifleman Jack Cooper, assigned as Acting Pilot to Vanguard-class Titan BT-7274.

Overview

Titanfall 2 features more advanced weaponry compared to the original Titanfall, with many weapons returning in an upgraded form (e.g. G2A4 replaced by G2A5). These weapons are slightly different cosmetically, but retain the same role in the game. Titanfall 2 also features more weapon customisation in the form of attachments and modifications. Attachments are scopes, while modifications include various abilities such as the ability to shoot while sprinting and quicker reloads. The extra ammo modification does not visually alter the magazine model, meaning all magazines somehow stay the same size with extra rounds in them.

"Hammond P2016"

The "P2016" is the upgraded version of the "P2011", with a similar appearance that is loosely based on the Springfield XD series of pistols as seen in its grip design, while the segmented slide and trigger guard resembles an Airsoft WE Tech Hi-CAPA 1911-based pistol. The pistol has an unusable LAM device mounted underneath the barrel, and has a 12 round magazine which increases to 16 with the extra ammo modification. Other attachments include the unique pistol suppressor.

The name "P2016" comes from the year the game was released, 2016.

"RE-45 Auto"

The "RE-45" machine pistol is visually similar to the Heckler & Koch P2000 in the slide and grip, which is missing a hammer. The pistol has a Airsoft WE Tech Hi-CAPA 1911-style muzzle brake, based on the shape of the segmented slide section. A competition G18-style flared magwell is present, loaded with either 20 or 25 round magazines. Attachments include the unique pistol suppressor and a red dot sight, which replaces the standard "irondot" sight. Judging by the name, it fires .45 caliber rounds.

"Smart Pisol MK6"

The "Smart Pistol MK6" is a high-tech pistol which has the ability to lock on to multiple targets and fire homing bullets at them. It shares the Springfield XD-esque frame of the "P2016", but has its own unique slide assembly, suppressor and underbarrel LAM device, which presumably allows for the bullets to lock on to enemies.

Unlike the previous game, the "MK6" is not a primary or secondary weapon in multiplayer, instead the player can obtain it via a "Boost", a one-use powerup activated at 60% Titan meter. As it is a "Boost" and not a proper weapon, there are no modifications for it. In the final level of the campaign, Cooper gains a unique green and orange paintjob from BT's SERE kit (Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape), which he wields in a unique way compared to the multiplayer "Smart Pistol", due to him holding BT's AI core in the left hand. The colour scheme is the same as BT's chassis.

The "V-47 Flatline" is an AK-47/AKM based weapon, with some influence from the prototype Soviet TKB-022. It also bears some resemblance to the Elysium AKM, with the device above the barrel looking rather similar to the sighting device seen on the Elysium AKM. The regular AKM handguard is visible, appearing rather compressed compared to the real thing, and the barrel is coming out of the handguard from where the gas tube usually is, which is now above the handguard. The magazine appears to be a Tapco Kalashnikov 7.62x39mm magazine, which holds X or Y rounds.

In the singleplayer, the weapon is used by both IMC and Militia soldiers, with one given to the player at the end of the first mission, which you retain for the beginning of the second mission. It has very strong horizontal recoil and a collapsible frame.

"Kraber-AP"

The "Kraber-AP" appears as a powerful, bolt-action armour-piercing/anti-material rifle, equipped by default with a 6x scope. The magazine and bolt design is based on the Mechem NTW-20, with a stock based on competition rifles, which looks similar to the Victrix Scorpio TCT and a thumbhole grip similar to Accuracy International rifles. It is stated to fire 14.5x114mm rounds, which the NTW-20 can be chambered for and it uses 5 or 6 round magazines, if one selects the extra ammo modification.

It is the most powerful non-explosive infantry weapon in the game, able to take down human targets in one shot and it has the rare Ricochet modification available, which causes bullets to bounce off surfaces. However, despite its name and huge caliber, it fails to pierce Titan armour without hitting the weak spots, which are usually the cockpit glass. The name Kraber comes from Respawn Entertainment's audio lead for Titanfall, Erik Kraber.

Apex Legends

Apex Legends is a free-to-play science-fiction first-person shooter battle royale video game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. The game was announced on February 3, 2019, and unveiled and released for free on the following day.

The game is a part of the Titanfall universe, taking place 18 years after the events of Titanfall 2.

Overview

Unturned

Unturned is a zombie survival game developed and published by Smartly Dressed Studios on 7 June, 2017 for PC, and 12 Nov, 2020 for consoles.


The following weapons appear in the video game Unturned:


Overview

The weapons in Unturned are one of four grades: Civilian, Police, Ranger or Military. Civilian-grade weapons are usually weak but common, being found in houses or farms. Police-grade weapons are slightly better, found at police stations. Ranger-grade weapons are equivalent to Military-grade weapons. Most maps have very few locations where Ranger-grade weapons spawn in, but on Russia they are very common, due to the majority of them being Russian weapons found in military bases. Finally, military-grade weapons are found at military bases on most maps, except Russia, where they can be found in a few obscure locations.

Airdrops can spawn nearly every gun, including ones that usually would not appear on the map, which means players can use the Colt Canada C8 Carbine in maps other than Prince Edwards Islands if they get it in an airdrop (as the "Maplestrike" only spawns in PEI, a map set in Canada).

Attachments include various optics, laser pointers, flashlights, rangefinders, suppressors, extended barrels, extended magazines, alternate ammo types and various grips.

Guns can be repaired with bits of scrap metal and a blowtorch, as firing them causes their quality to decrease, leading to a decrease in weapon performance.

Due to the low detail of the models in Unturned, it is difficult to pinpoint which version of a weapon the in game gun is based on. For example, the Beretta 96 has many variants, the most common being the FS model, but the "Avenger" is simply listed under Beretta 96, as you cannot tell which version of the 96 it is based on.

Note: Only official weapons created by the developer of the game and/or featured in the official maps (PEI, Washington, Yukon, Germany, Russia) are on this page. Any weapons that came with a limited-time featured Steam workshop map will not be included on this page (example: France, Ireland, Hawaii, Greece).

Handguns

Beretta 96

The Beretta 96 appears as the "Avenger". It has green illuminated sights and fires Low Caliber Military ammunition. The weapon is meant to be the Beretta M9, evidenced by it only being found at military bases, but it only holds 13 rounds. The Beretta 92 series does not have a 13 round magazine, only the .40 S&W Beretta 96 does.

It inaccurately spawns at military bases on the Germany and Prince Edward Islands maps. Neither country's military uses the Beretta 96 or M9 - Germany's service pistol is the Heckler & Koch P8 and Canada's is the Browning Hi-Power. However, it correctly spawns at military locations in the Washington map.

Colt M1911

The Colt M1911 appears, called the "1911", firing Low Caliber Civilian ammo. It was previously called the "Colt" and the "Oakbear".

Colt Python

The Colt Python appears as the "Ace", firing Low Caliber Civilian ammo. It has red illuminated iron sights. The Ace can accept the Makeshift Muffler attachment, which is inaccurate, as the Python cannot be suppressed in real life.

A special version of the Ace can be obtained after completing a quest on the Russia map, from the Doc Ernie NPC. It has an 8x scope, which normally cannot be attached to the revolver in game.

IMI/Magnum Research Desert Eagle Mark XIX

A Desert Eagle Mark XIX appears as the "Desert Falcon". However, it was called the Desert Eagle when it was first added to the game. Is uses High Caliber Military ammo in game, despite not being a service pistol of any military. It also has the same green illuminated iron sights of the Beretta 96.

A special gold-plated version of the Desert Eagle can be obtained after completing a quest on the Hawaii map, from the Major Ekho NPC. It has a vertical grip, a flashlight and a "Military Muzzle" attachment, which appears to be some sort of extended barrel. Another special "Desert Falcon" is available to players of the Gold edition of the game, with golden iron sights and gold plating.

Glock 17

The Glock 17 with an olive drab frame appears as the "Cobra", standing in for the Glock 18. It is fully automatic in game, despite lacking the fire selector of a real Glock 18. It is considered a police weapon and it uses Low Caliber Civilian ammo. The "Cobra" has the ability to use 20 or 40 round box magazines, the latter of which is fictional.

The name is a reference to the Austrian EKO Cobra counter-terrorist unit, who requested a full-auto version of the Glock 17 to be produced, resulting in the Glock 18.

Luger P08

The Luger P08 appears, simply called "Luger". The magazine incorrectly holds 9 rounds instead of the real Luger's 8. It spawns in civilian locations on the Germany map and uses Low Caliber Civilian ammo.

Makarov PM

The Makarov PM appears as the "Kryzkarek", with a longer barrel compared to the real pistol. It has a 12 round magazine from the PMM, which, unlike every other Ranger weapon, uses Low Caliber Civilian ammunition, to reflect the rather weak characteristics of the 9x18mm Makarov round. However, it oddly deals high damage, more than other pistols that fire the Low Grade Civilian ammo.

TEC-9 Mini

The TEC-9 Mini appears as the "Teklowvka". It incorrectly holds 15 rounds, the real TEC-9 can have 10, 20, 32, 50 or 72 round magazines, but not 15. It uses Low Caliber Ranger ammo.

Every submachine gun except the UMP45 and the MP40 is classed as a carbine in game.

FN P90 TR

The FN P90 TR appears as the "Peacemaker", firing Low Caliber Military ammo. The weapon spawns in military bases on the Washington and Germany maps, as well as the American Spy Base on the Russia map.

The name is a reference to the law enforcement troops seen in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, who are called "Peacekeepers" and use P90's as their primary weapon.

Heckler & Koch MP5A2

The Heckler & Koch MP5A2 appears as the "Viper", firing Low Caliber Civilian ammo from fictional 25 round magazines. It has a slightly shorter stock and barrel compared to the real MP5, with the barrel resembling a MP5K-sized "tropical" wide handguard. The length of barrel that extends out from the end of the handguard is also slightly longer compared to the real MP5. The "Viper" is found at a variety of police and military locations, most notably the Scorpion-7 research laboratories, which implies its status as a standard-issue SMG for the organisation.

Heckler & Koch UMP45

The Heckler & Koch UMP45 appears as the "Empire". It is only found in military locations in Germany and in airdrops. Oddly, it holds 27 rounds instead of the real weapons 25, and it fires Low Caliber Military ammo. The "Empire" correctly has semi-auto, full-auto and 3 round burst modes, the only official gun in the game with this ability. The "Empire" is also the only SMG to actually be classed as an SMG in game.

KRISS Vector

The KRISS Vector appears as the "Scalar", firing Low Caliber Military ammo from 30 round magazines, which implies the weapon is based on the .45 ACP version. The weapon has a blue lower receiver and buttplate. The "Scalar" appears in Coalition locations on the Germany map, on the Coalition aircraft carrier, called the Liberator, and in airdrops. The blue colour, which matches the Coalition's colour scheme, and the appearance on the Liberator implies the "Scalar" is a standard-issue Coalition weapon.

The name is a play on the Vector name, and its mathematical origin. The term "scalar" is used to define a vector space, with a "vector" being described by multiple scalars.

Mini Uzi

The Mini Uzi appears as the "Bulldog", firing Low Caliber Ranger ammo. It is modelled with 32 round magazines, but they hold 45 rounds, which is not a real magazine option for the Uzi. It is correctly identified as Israeli, and fires with a closed-bolt, which is incorrect. The weapon can be found at some Ranger locations in the Germany map and at military locations on the Russia map, despite Russia not using the Uzi in any form in its any of its military forces.

IMI Mini Uzi - 9x19mm

MP40

The MP40 appears as the "Maschinengewehr", with wood furniture. Maschinengewehr" translates to machine gun, while the MP40 is a submachine gun ("machinenpistole" in German). When the weapon was first added, it was called MP40, but this was quickly changed. It fires Low Caliber Ranger ammo. In game, it is a very rare Ranger weapon, only spawning in airdrops and some Ranger locations on the Germany map.

PP-19 Bizon-2

The PP-19 Bizon-2 appears as the "Yuri", firing Low Caliber Ranger ammo from 64 round helical magazines, implying it is chambered in 9x18 Makarov. The rear sights are mounted much further back than the real weapon. It can be found in Ranger locations on the PEI, Washington and Germany maps, and in Military locations in the Russia map.

PPSh-41

The PPSh-41 appears as the "Calling Card", firing Low Caliber Ranger ammo from its 71 round drum. As the name suggests, the weapon is found at the Krovi Estate in the Russia map, which was owned by the mafia before the zombie virus hit Russia. It can also be found in airdrops.

A calling card is an object criminals leave behind at the scene of a crime to taunt the police.

Shotguns

AA-12 CQB

The AA-12 CQB appears as the "Devil's Bane", with a light grey appearance. The weapon has a 21 shell drum magazine - one shell larger than the real drum magazine. It can only be found in police locations on the Germany map, as a reward from Horde Beacons or in airdrops.

Double Barrel Shotgun

A Double Barrel Shotgun appears as the "Masterkey". The real Masterkey is an underbarrel pump-action, not a double barrel. The weapon is chambered in 20 gauge shells, which the player reloads as if it were a detachable magazine, and can be found in farms and campgrounds in the PEI, Washington and Russia maps.

Sawed Off Double Barrel Shotgun

A Sawed-Off Double Barrel Shotgun appears to be a sawn off version of the "Masterkey", called the "Sawed-off". The weapon is chambered in 20 gauge shells, which the player reloads as if it were a detachable magazine, and can be crafted by using a saw on the "Masterkey".

"Quadbarrel"

A variant of the Sawed-Off Double Barrel Shotgun appears as the "Quadbarrel", which can only be crafted on the Russia map, due to it needing a blueprint obtained by completing a quest. It has 4 barrels side-by-side, which somehow allows the shotgun to hold 8 shells. You cannot fire all 8 shells at once, they are fired individually. Unlike the "Sawed-off" it is based off, the "Quadbarrel" is uses 12 gauge shells.

Mossberg 500

The Mossberg 500 appears as the "Bluntforce", with a black synthetic stock and an 8 round tube magazine. It is a police shotgun, found in police stations on every map except Russia.

MTs255

A sawn-off MTs255 appears as the "Determinater", incorrectly stated to be an American shotgun and incorrectly holding 8 shells in a 6 shell cylinder. It is chambered in 12 gauge shells, and can only be found in the prison and under the mountain in the Germany map, or in airdrops.

Saiga-12K

The Saiga-12K appears as the "Vonya". Like the other AK-based weapons in game, the rear sights are mounted much further back than the real weapon. It uses a fictional 7 shell magazine, the real Saiga-12 does not have this option. The shotgun is correctly semi-auto, but prior to version 3.19.0.0, the weapon was full auto. The "Vonya" spawns at police locations in the Russia map, or in airdrops in the PEI and Washington maps.

Rifles & Carbines

Ranger magazines and Military magazines appear as the default magazine for many rifles & carbines. The Military magazine is based on STANAG 30 round magazines, while the Ranger magazines are fictional 35 round magazines that can somehow fit into both AKs, G36C and AUGs.

AAC Honey Badger

The AAC Honey Badger appears as the "PDW", despite the real weapon being a carbine. It fires Low Caliber Military ammo from 30 round Military magazines. It appears on every map, either spawning after completing a horde beacon, killing a Mega Zombie, finding an airdrop or in military locations on the Germany. Washington and Russia maps.

AKM

The AKM appears as the "Zubeknakov", firing Low Caliber Ranger ammo from the 35 round Ranger magazines. Like the other AK-based weapons in game, the rear sights are mounted much further back than the real weapon. The weapon can be identified as an AKM by the angle of the stock - it is very straight, unlike the AK-47's stock, which is angled downwards. The handguard is the same as the AS Val, albeit brown wood instead of black polymer.

Oddly, the weapon deals less damage than weapons chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO, like the C8 Carbine seen below. This may imply it is chambered in 5.45x39mm, which has less stopping power than 5.56x45mm NATO, however the high recoil of the "Zubeknakov" and the curvature of the magazine implies the usage of 7.62x39mm.

Colt Canada C8 Carbine

The Colt Canada C8 Carbine appears as the "Maplestrike", incorrectly referred to as an assault rifle. It fires Low Caliber Military ammunition and can only be found at military locations on the PEI map, which is set in Canada, or in airdrops. The name is a reference to the maple leaf on the Canadian flag.

Colt M16A4

The Colt M16A4 appears as the "Eaglefire", a reference to the national bird of America. It fires Low Caliber Military ammo in 3 round bursts and has a Magpul CTR stock. It used to be called the "AR32", firing fully automatic, which would have made it an M16A3.

The weapon is implied to be a civilian AR-15, as it is found in civilian gun stores in the Washington map, but it usage of Military ammo and Military magazines, the 3 round burst setting and the chance to spawn at the American Spy Base in the Russia map make it clear it is meant to be the military burst-fire M16A4, rather than the civilian semi-auto AR-15. Albeit illegal in most circumstances, the real AR-15 can be converted to allow for a 3-round burst.

FAMAS F1

The FAMAS F1 appears as the "Fusilaut", a a portmanteau of the French words "fusillade" and "fusil d'assault", meaning "a series of shots in succession" and "assault rifle" respectively. It fires in 3 round bursts from both Ranger and Military magazines, both of which hold different numbers of rounds compared to the real F1's 25 round straight magazine. The ability to use 30 round STANAG Military magazines is incorrect, as the weapon does not have the magwell of the G2. It is chambered in Low Caliber Ranger ammunition, and can be found in military locations in the Germany and Russia maps, despite neither of these countries using the FAMAS rifle in any of their military forces, as well as in airdrops.

FN SCAR-L

The FN SCAR-L appears as the "Heartbreaker", firing Low Caliber Military ammo. It can rarely spawn at military locations in the Washington map, implying the NAVY SEALS were garrisoned in Washington prior to the virus outbreak, as well as at military locations in the Germany map, as part of the special spawn group, due to its use by GSG 9 and SEK. It can also be found in airdrops.

Heckler & Koch G36C

The Heckler & Koch G36C appears as the "Nightraider", firing Low Caliber Ranger ammo. As it is a Ranger weapon, the default magazine is the 35 round Ranger, however it is interchangeable with Military magazines. The weapon can be found at military locations in the Germany and Russia map, despite it not being used by the Russian military in real life. It can also be found in airdrops.

Mosin Nagant M1891/30

The Mosin Nagant M1891/30 appears as the "Schofield", named after the developer's social studies teacher, who said in a livestream that he wanted a weapon named after him. It fires Low Caliber Civilian ammo from generic "Rifle Clips". The weapon was incorrectly called a French battle rifle before a patch changed this to a Russian battle rifle, which is still incorrect as the Mosin has none of the characteristics of a battle rifle. The weapon has a straight-pull bolt, rather than the downturned one seen on the M77, but it reuses the same bolt animation as every other bolt rifle, which has the player pull the bolt up, pull it back, push it forward and push it down. This is the wrong amimation for a straight-pull bolt.

The "Schofield" can be found at farms and campsites on the PEI and Washington maps, and in gun stores on the Germany and Russia maps.

Full-length, Soviet Mosin Nagant M91/30 - 7.62x54mm R

Ruger 10/22

The "Sportshot" rifle appears to be based on the Ruger 10/22, however it has an extended magazine far larger than the .22 LR magazines used in the real gun, which still holds 10 rounds of Low Caliber Civilian ammo. However, the damage model of the rifle implies it is chambered in .22 LR, as it deals less damage than any other bullet weapon in the game. It does more damage against animals than players. The description states it is a target rifle, a reference to its high usage in marksmanship competitions. The weapon can be found at campsites, farms and gun stores on every map except Yukon, where it can only be found at campgrounds.

A special "April Fools" variant of the "Sportshot" was added for the 1st April, 2016. It fired miniature rockets that dealt more damage than the base "Sportshot" in 10 round bursts, meaning the magazine would be emptied with one burst. It was removed the following day.

Ruger Gunsite Scout

The "Hawkhound" rifle appears to be based on the Ruger M77 Gunsite, however it is semi-auto instead of bolt-action, it feeds from a fictional 8 round magazine, it has wood furniture and stock and it is referred to as Canadian in game, while Ruger is an American company. The rifle fires Low Caliber Civilian ammo, which is meant to be either 5.56x45mm or .308 Winchester, judging by the decently high player damage of the weapon. The "Hawkhound" can be found at farms and campgrounds in the 3 North American maps - PEI, Washington and Yukon.

"Makeshift Rifle"

The "Makeshift Rifle" appears to have the same overall appearance as the "Hawkhound", however it is bolt-action instead of semi auto, making it resemble a Ruger M77 Hawkeye. It also has the exact same damage model as the "Hawkhound", further supporting the idea that the two weapons are part of the same family. The weapon has a straight-pull bolt, rather than the downturned one seen on the M77, but it reuses the same bolt animation as every other bolt rifle, which has the player pull the bolt up, pull it back, push it forward and push it down. This is the wrong amimation for a straight-pull bolt. The body of the rifle can be made out of birch, maple or pine wood, which is held together, rather alarmingly, by bits of duct tape and rope.

The SIG SG 553 appears as the "Swissgewehr" (literally "Swiss Rifle"), firing Low Caliber Military ammo from a unique opaque 20 round "Swissgewehr" magazine. The weapon is able to use any other Military magazine alongside its unique 20 rounder. Like the SG 551, it has 3 rectangular vent holes in its green handguard, but these are at the bottom rather than the top. The "Swissgewehr" only spawns at police locations in the Germany map and in airdrops.

Steyr AUG A1

The Steyr AUG A1 appears as the "Augewehr", which is based on the acronym AUG ("Armee Universal Gewehr"). The weapon fires Low Caliber Ranger ammo and is fitted with a 4x Swavorski scope by default, although this can be removed and replaced with other optical attachments. The "Augewehr" can use both Ranger and Military magazines, although as a Ranger weapon, it spawns with 35 round Ranger magazines. It spawns in military locations on the Germany and Russia maps, as well as in airdrops.

Sniper Rifles

Barrett M82

The original Barrett M82 appears as the "Grizzly", with the muzzle break of the M82A1. It fires High Caliber Military ammo from a 5 round magazine instead of the real rifle's 10. Respecting the power of its cartridge, the .50 BMG, it has the highest player damage of any weapon in the game, save for the "Shadowstalker" railguns. It can be found in military locations in the Germany and Washington maps, as a reward from Horde Beacons and in airdrops in the PEI and Russia maps.

C14 Timberwolf

The C14 Timberwolf appears as the "Timberwolf", with a black chassis. It has a fictional 6 round magazine chambered in High Caliber Military ammo, and a slightly shorter barrel. It can be found in military locations on the PEI map, or in airdrops on the Washington and Russia maps.

Cheyenne Tactical M200 Intervention

The Cheyenne Tactical M200 Intervention appears as the "Ekho". It is incorrectly called a Russian sniper rifle and "Ekho" is the transliteration of the Russian word for "echo". It uses a 7 round magazine firing High Caliber Military ammo. The magazine well is on the left side of the receiver, rather than underneath it like the real weapon. The "Ekho" also has a much shorter barrel than the real rifle. It can be found in military locations in the Russia map, as a reward from Horde Beacons and in airdrops.

The name, magazine well position and spawn locations imply the Intervention is a Russian weapon in-universe.

CheyTac M200 Intervention - .408 CheyTac

M39 Enhanced Marksman Rifle

The M39 EMR appears as the "Sabretooth", with a tan chassis. The weapon is chambered in Low Caliber Military ammunition - most sniper rifles use High Caliber ammunition. The "Sabretooth" is classified as a "Sharpshooter Rifle" alongside the "Snayperskya", which also uses Low Caliber ammo.

The "Sabretooth" spawns at military locations in the Washington map, and at the American Spy Base in the Russia map.

M39 Enhanced Marksman Rifle with Harris bipod - 7.62x51mm NATO

SVD Dragunov

The SVD Dragunov appears as the "Snayperskya", which is what the "S" in SVD stands for - it translates as "sniper". The weapon has a fictional 7 round magazine and it fires Low Caliber Ranger ammo, like the "Sabretooth". Also like the "Sabretooth", it is classified as a "shartshooter rifle". The rifle has a similar stock design to the synthetic stock used on newer SVDs, however it is still made out of wood. Like the other AK-based weapons in game, the rear sights are mounted much further back than the real weapon.

The "Snayperskya" spawns in Ranger locations in the PEI and Washington maps, and in military locations in the Russia map.

VSS Vintorez

The VSS Vintorez appears as the "Matamorez", incorrectly classed as an assault rifle. It uses 17 or 36 round magazines, both of which are fictional. It fires High Caliber Ranger ammo, despite the real weapon being chambered in 9x39mm, which is roughly the same size as 7.62x39mm. The ironsights are incorrectly modelled on the receiver, rather than on the barrel. Like the other AK-based weapons in game, the rear sights are mounted much further back than the real weapon.

The "Matamorez" can spawn in Ranger locations in the PEI, Washington and Germany maps, in the nuclear missile silo in the Russia map and as a reward from Horde Beacons.

Machine Guns

M134 Minigun

A handheld M134 Minigun appears as the "Hell's Fury". It operates with no power source and no ammo belt, instead it uses a 250 round "Hell's Fury" magazine, which is completely fictional and which fires both Low Caliber Ranger and Low Caliber Military ammo. The weapon has a "Chainsaw grip" and pistol grip, which are used by the player to hold the massive gun. The spool-up time is incorrect as the M134's action is cycled by barrel rotation and would start firing as soon as the cluster rotated and would continue to fire until the cluster stopped, without the need to speed up the rotations before it fires. Brass ejects from the 1 o'clock position sending a stream of shells up and to the right. In reality the links would be ejected from the feeder/delinker where the chute is attached on the right side of the weapon and the brass would eject from the bottom. Likely this was altered for a more cinematic effect while using the gun. It is incorrectly stated to be Russian in origin.

The "Hell's Fury" can be modified with the "Adaptive Chambering" attachment, which nonsensically increases the firerate to a ridiculous level. It can be found at military locations in the Germany map, at the Oil Rig and nuclear missile silo in the Russia map and as a reward from Horde Beacons or in airdrops.

Airsoft handheld M134 Minigun with 'Chainsaw grip' to handle the recoil force. This variant was seen in Terminator 2: Judgement Day. This is an airsoft version which retains the half-circle attachment point for the M60 foregrip from Predator; the real T2 minigun did not have this - (fake) 7.62x51mm

M249

The M249 appears in game, with a very short barrel and a 150 round box belt. It fires High Caliber Military ammo, unlike the other machine guns Low Caliber ammo, although it originally used Low Caliber Military ammo as well. The "Dragonfang" can spawn at the American Spy Base in the Russia map, at military locations in the Washington and Germany maps and it can be one of the rewards from completing a Horde Beacon.

M249 with folding carry handle, heat shield, improved handguard, plastic stock, and 200-round drum - 5.56x45mm. This is the M249 issued following the Product Improvement Program.

PKM

The PKM appears as the "Nykorev". It has a short barrel and a 200 round belt box, firing Low Caliber Ranger ammo. Like the other AK-based weapons in game, the rear sights are mounted much further back than the real weapon.

The "Nykorev" can be found at Ranger locations in the PEI, Germany and Washington maps, at the Oil Rig and nuclear missile silo in the Russia map, as a reward from Horde Beacons or in airdrops.

The RPG-7 appears, simply called "Rocket Launcher". It fires a rocket that looks similar to the PG-7VL rocket.

Explosives

M26 Grenade

The M26 Hand Grenade appears in game, as the "Fragmentation Grenade". It is found at military locations.

A crossbow with a green chassis appears in game, correctly firing bolts instead of arrows. It can be found at campsites and farms.

Fictional Railguns

Two fictional railguns appear in game, called the "Shadowstalker" and the "Shadowstalker Mk. II".

"Shadowstalker"

The "Shadowstalker" is fictional, however it highly resembles the "Rorsch Mk-1" from Battlefield 4, with a larger scope and a larger hole in the stock. The "Shadowstalker" takes the railgun name very literally, firing an actual "rail", which appears to be a very sharp pointed metal projectile, rather than the ferromagnetic projectile magnetically propelled via electromagnetic rails real railguns fire. When firing, the player pulls on a nonexistent bolt, due to the "Shadowstalker" reusing the same bolt pull animations as the bolt-action rifles in game. It has no bullet drop, unlike every other weapon in the game. The "rails" explode on impact.

The "Shadowstalker" can be found in the Washington map at the crashed UFO, and at the firing range of the Washington Scorpion-7 laboratory. It is implied through letters that the crashed alien UFO supplied Scorpion-7 with the technology required to manufacutre prototype "railguns", hence its spawn locations.

"Shadowstalker Mk. II"

The "Shadowstalker Mk. II" is an improved version of the original "Shadowstalker", with a 20 round magazine inspired by the M1941 Johnson rifle's magazine. It has a skeletal stock instead of the thumbhole-esque stock of the original "Shadowstalker", and claw-like 'things' at the end of the "barrel". The "barrel" also has bumps and ridges above it and a large handguard below the "barrel", unlike the original.

Instead of firing black "rails" like the original, it fires new red "rails", which are unique to the magazine it spawns with, and cannot be found anywhere else in the game, meaning the magazine cannot be refilled. The Mk. II is the only non-cosmetic item in the game to have the red "Mythical" rarity. It is also the only gun in the game with a 0% chance of wear, meaning you never need to repair the gun in order to bring its quality up. The explosion radius of the Mk. II is larger than that of the original "Shadowstalker".

The "Shadowstalker Mk. II" can only be obtained from the Russia Mk. II puzzle, which involves many tasks around the map related to the lore of the Russia map. Said lore implies Scorpion-7 improved the "Shadowstalker" using soul crystal derived technology, which could explain the red colour of the "rails".

Fireteam: South Asian Assault

Fireteam: South Asian Assault is a fictional first-person shooter video game developed and published by 908 Games. It released on the Xbox One and Series consoles, PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles and Steam on month, day, 20xx. The game features a large scale 40 player multiplayer mode, as well as a co-op mode with 4 players.


The following weapons appear in the video game Fireteam: South Asian Assault:

Overview

Due to the overlap in weaponry between the two wars, many weapons are available in both the Korean and Vietnamese multiplayer maps, however those that aren't, like the M16 and Webley Mk. VI, are unavailable for use in some of the maps, unless an unlock token for the weapon is purchased with the in game currency, where the Korean weapons can be used in Vietnam, but the Vietnam weapons can't be used in Korea. Weapons are faction-locked unless the unlock token is purchased for the weapon, where it becomes available for use by both factions, a bit like Battlefield Hardline.

There are four classes each with different roles, weapons and equipment:

  • Assault, with access to rocket launchers, flamethrowers, the lunge mine and underbarrel launchers. Their weapon selection consists of assault rifles and battle rifles.
  • Pointman, with permanent access to a morphine syringe for reviving teammates, which is faster than the regular squad revive. They also have access to the combat bow, in fire and smoke forms, the tripwire explosive type weapons (MON-50, M18 Claymore, S Mine), C4 explosives and med bags and med boxes. Their weapon selection consists of submachine guns and shotguns.
  • Support, with access to the repair tool, mortars, anti-tank mines, ammo pouches and ammo boxes. They, predictably, use machine guns and shotguns.
  • Finally, Recon has access to a flare spotting gun, the tripwire explosive type weapons (MON-50, M18 Claymore, S Mine), a spawn beacon, throwing knifes and spotting binoculars, along with the usual scoped bolt-action rifles, with a few semi-automatic sniper rifles, as well as battle rifles.

A few attachments are available for most weapons, which are all different scopes and iron sights. The main bulk of weapon modification is in the Upgrade Tree, which is a similar system to Battlefield V. Many weapons have access to jungle-style magazines for the speed reload upgrade and, when reloading, every other reload is faster than normal, as the player character has to swap out the two empty magazines for two more strapped together.

Pistols

Browning Hi-Power

The Browning Hi-Power appears in the game. It is modelled off the original P-35 version of the pistol, although the "beer can" sights can be equipped with the "Tritium Night Sights" attachment. It is available to the UN and Western forces in multiplayer. The tier 4 extended magazine upgrade uses a 20 round magazine, which are real magazines made by Rhodesia. The other tier 4 upgrade, like most weapons, is fast mags, which attaches a loop of cord to the bottom of the regular 13 round magazine to aid in reloading. The character does actually put their thumb through the loop when reloading, which is also the case with every other pistol equipped with the cord loop.

Colt M1911A1

The M1911A1 is the first .45 ACP pistol unlocked in the multiplayer. It is used in both eras for the UN and Western forces. By default, it has a 7 round magazine, but the tier 4 extended magazine upgrade gives it a 10 round magazine.

CZ 52

The Czech CZ 52 appears, used by the Vietnamese. It is chambered for 7.63x25mm Tokarev and has average damage and firerate. It does not have an extended magazine upgrade.

Makarov PM

The Makarov PM is another low damage, high firerate pistol for the Vietnamese under the name "PM". The "Tritium Iron Sights" uses the adjustable iron sights of the civilian Baikal IJ-70, which are non-adjustable in game. It has no extended magazine.

Makarov PB

The tier 2 suppressor turns the weapon into the integrally-suppressed Makarov PB, with the name changing from "PM" to "PB". It also gains subsonic ammunition with this upgrade, reducing the bullet velocity from 310m/s to 290m/s, but it makes the pistol whisper-quiet. While the PM was used in Vietnam, the PB is much more unlikely, as it was reserved mainly for the Soviet MVD and special forces.

Makeshift Vietnamese Pistol

A makeshift, single-shot pistol is available when playing as the Vietnamese in multiplayer. It fires one round of 9x19mm ammunition before it has to be reloaded. It serves the role of a joke weapon, akin to Battlefield 1's Kolibri or Battlefield V's FP-45 Liberator pistols, and has no upgrades.

The pistol visually resembles a Walther P38, and is modelled off a makeshift pistol captured by ANZAC forces and presented to Major Barrie Bridgehouse during the war.

Mauser C96

A Chinese copy of the Mauser C96 is available for use by the Vietnamese in the multiplayer. The player character puts a finger over the ejection port when reloading with rounds still in the weapon, then uses individual rounds to top off the magazine. When reloading from empty, a stripper clip is used.

The tier 4 extended magazine gives it a 20 round internal magazine, while the tier 4 speed reload upgrade just speeds up the regular reload animation. It also has access to the stock at tier 3, which cannot be removed in-game.

Smith & Wesson 39

The Smith & Wesson 39 is available for Western forces in the Vietnam maps, as the "Model 39". The tier 4 extended magazine uses the 13 round Browning Hi-Power magazines, which appropriately widens the grip. These were experimental versions of the Mk 22 Mod 0 pistol, requested by the Navy SEALs during the war.

The Mk 22 Mod 0 "Hush Puppy" can be created with the "Tritium Night Sights" and the tier 2 suppressor and subsonic ammo upgrade, which reduces bullet velocity but makes the pistol very quiet.

Tokarev TT-33

The Tokarev TT-33 is available for North Korean forces in the multiplayer. It is statistically identical to the Makarov PM and has no extended magazine upgrade.

Welrod Mark I

The Welrod Mark I can be used by Western forces in the multiplayer Vietnam maps, serving a similar role to the Nagant M1895 of the VC. A slow firerate, very quiet pistol, it is very effective in the VC tunnels, and at night. The tier 4 speed reload upgrade has a faster version of the default reload animation instead of a loop of cord, like most other pistols

Welrod Mark I - 9x19mm. The Mark I has a trigger guard and front sight halfway along the weapon rather than near the muzzle; it is somewhat longer and heavier, and has a 6-round magazine as opposed to the Mark II's 8. The lower shot shows the action pulled back after the knurled knob is given a quarter-turn to the left.

Welrod Mark II

The .32 ACP Mark II version of the Welrod can be used with the tier 4 .32 ACP upgrade, which removes the trigger guard and moves the front sight to make it look like the Mark I version. The .32 ACP deals less damage to the body and limbs, but the magazine holds 2 more shots.

Revolvers

Colt Python

The Colt Python is used by Western forces in the Vietnam maps. Rounds are reloaded one at a time, unless the cylinder is emptied, where a speedloader is used. The cylinder is rotated round to the first fired round when ejecting round-by-round, to avoid the common video game problem of starting the reload on an unfired round and ejecting perfectly good rounds, leaving the unfired rounds in the revolver. The revolver has access to a scope.

The tier 3 upgrade is either an extended 8" barrel or a snub-nose 2.5" barrel, each one altering the handling statistics and bullet velocity slightly.

Nagant M1895

The Nagant M1895 is available for Vietnamese forces in the multiplayer. It reloads one round at a time, with the same cylinder rotation as the Python to make sure the fired rounds are ejected, unless the cylinder is empty, in which case the whole cylinder is removed and swapped for a fully loaded cylinder. It is the only revolver that has access to a suppressor and subsonic ammo, and it functions similarly to the Western Welrod, as a slow-firing suppressed sidearm. It deals more damage than the Welrod, to reflect the larger calibre, but has a much longer reload.

Smith & Wesson M1917

The Colt M1917 revolver appears as the "Model 1917", used by the UN and Western forces in both Korean and Vietnamese maps. It is reloaded with 3 round moon clips, and the revolver cannot be reloaded if less than three rounds have been fired. If more than three have been fired, the unfired rounds are not reloaded and are held in place while removing the other clip with three spent rounds on it. Two moon clips are used when all rounds have been fired.

Smith & Wesson Model 29

The Smith & Wesson Model 29 is available for the UN and Western forces in both Korean and Vietnamese multiplayer maps. Like the Python, rounds are reloaded one at a time, unless the cylinder is emptied, where a speedloader is used. The same cylinder rotation as the Python is seen at the beginning of the reload. The speedloader is modelled off the New York "Revolver Cartridge Clip Corp" speedloader, a 1930s era device that was used with S&W revolvers in WWII. It is the most powerful sidearm in the game, being a .44 Magnum revolver.

Webley Mk VI

The Webley Mk VI is used by UN forces in the Korean maps, serving the same role as the Vietnam-era Python. The break-open nature of the Webley results in rounds being lost if not reloaded from empty, and a speedloader is always used. A unique bayonet attachment can be used at tier 3, modelled after the WWI-era Pritchard-Greener bayonet and serving the same purpose as the bayonet on most rifles. The tier 3 stock upgrade uses the Webley No. 1 Mark 1 flare gun stock.

Submachine Guns

F1 SMG

The Australian F1 SMG is a statistically similar version of the Owen SMG, but is only available in Vietnam maps for the Western forces. The main difference is the slightly lower firerate at 650 RPM, but a larger 34 round magazine. It has no extended magazine option, but it does have jungle-style magazines, which look frankly ridiculous due to the top-mounted magazine.

F1 Submachine Gun - 9x19mm

M1928A1 Thompson

The M1928A1 Thompson is available in both the Korean and Vietnamese maps. The tier 4 extended mags upgrade is the 50 round drum. The tier 2 and 3 upgrades make the weapon more controllable at range, and include a Cutts compensator and a foregrip.

M3A1 "Grease Gun"

The M3A1 "Grease Gun" is a slow-firing, high damage SMG available for the UN and Western forces in both wars. The tier 2 suppressor and subsonic ammo upgrade reduces bullet velocity, but makes the weapon very quiet. The tier 2 flash hider (on the other side of the tree) is modelled off the M9 flash hider for the Grease Gun. The stock can be retracted on the move.

MAC-10

The MAC-10 is an option for Western forces in Vietnam. It has the option of equipping a Sionics suppressor at rank 2, with subsonic ammo to make the weapon super-quiet. By default, it has a rate of fire of 1,000, but this can be upgraded to 1,250 with the tier 3 light bolt upgrade. The weapon holds 30 rounds, indicating it is the .45 ACP version and has no extended mag upgrade. The tier 2 upgrade adds a grip strap, to allow the left hand of the player to go somewhere when firing the weapon, and the stock can be unfolded (as it is folded by default), making the weapon slightly easier to control.

MAT-49

The French MAT-49 can be used by the Vietnamese in multiplayer. The weapon is the Vietnamese 7.62x25mm Tokarev conversion, reducing the amount of weapons you can take ammo from drastically. Like virtually all SMGs, there is no extended mags option. The stock can be retracted mid-match. Tier 3 upgrades include an integral suppressor and subsonic ammo.

MP-40

The Soviet-supplied MP40 is used by the Vietnamese and multiplayer. Like almost every submachine gun, it has no extended magazine, along with a usable folding stock.

MP40 - 9x19mm

Owen SMG

The Aussie Owen SMG is one of the two Australian SMGs in the game. Unlike the F1, the Owen is available for use in both Vietnam and Korea by Western forces. It fires at 680 RPM and has a 33 round magazine, but is otherwise very similar to the F1 SMG. It has no extended magazine option. By default, it has the stock of the early Owen gun, but the later model stock is available as the lightweight stock upgrade at tier 3. The stock upgrade also adds the trigger housing of the later model, and the non-finned barrel of the later model is available as the tier 2 lightweight barrel upgrade.

Owen Mk I - 9x19mm. This is an earlier version of the Owen gun, featuring a finned barrel, early wireframe stock (some wireframe stocks have a clip that holds an oil bottle), and solid trigger housing. The parkerized finish is a post-war refurbishment.

PM-63 RAK

The PM-63 RAK appears as a SMG for the Vietnamese. The weapon has an unfoldable stock, but it also has a unique unfoldable foregrip to reduce the recoil even further. As the weapon does not shoot a particularly powerful round, the fully unfolded RAK has almost no recoil. The default 15 round magazine has a cord loop applied when the speed reload upgrade is used, like the pistols, and the other tier 4 upgrade is the 25 round extended magazines.

PPSh-41

The Soviet-supplied PPSh-41 is used by the Vietnamese in multiplayer. It has the 71 round drum as the tier 4 extended magazine upgrade. Interestingly, the tier 1 "flash hider" upgrade uses the rarely-seen muzzle cover.

K-50M

The tiers 2 and 3 lightweight barrel and wire stock turn the weapon into the Vietnamese K-50M, with appropriate name change. The wire stock upgrade adds the AK-style pistol grip too, as the grip of the default PPSh was part of the stock. This build has faster handling stats than the base PPSh, but no collapsible stock when using the drum (which is accurate) and more recoil.

Smith & Wesson 76

The Smith & Wesson 76 is available in the multiplayer for the Western forces in Vietnam maps, with a 24 round magazine by default and the 36 rounder with the tier 4 extended magazine upgrade. It is suited to spray-and-pray, with laughable accuracy beyond close quarters and the larger than average extended magazine. The stock can be folded on the move.

Sterling SMG

The Sterling SMG is one of the SMG options for the Western forces in Korea. It is one of the more controllable SMGs, at 550 RPM. Folding the stock makes it easier to use in close-quarters, and does not increase recoil as much as other SMGs.

vz. 61 Skorpion

The vz. 61 Skorpion is an SMG available for the Vietnamese in Vietnam maps. It is fitted with the 20 round magazine by default, chambered for 9x19mm, and can be upgraded to 30 round magazines. The stock is folded by default, and can be unfolded to provide a marginal gain in recoil control.

Uzi

The Uzi is one of the SMG choices for the Western forces in Vietnam. It has a realistic rate of fire at 600 RPM, and if the stock is folded, it does not have much of an effect on recoil, making the Uzi similar in performance to the Korean war Sterling SMG. The wooden stock is available at tier 3.

Shotguns

Baikal IZH-58

The IZH-58 is one of the Vietnamese shotguns in the game, despite the fact that the USSR never sent the North Vietnamese any shotguns. It can be upgraded to use No. 4 Buckshot (16 pellets, compared to the default 00 Buckshot with 8 pellets) or Slugs, both at tier 3. Tier 4 upgrades include a sawed-off barrel or a choke.

Browning Auto-5

The Browning Auto-5 is the semi-auto shotgun of the Korean war, available for the UN forces. It can be upgraded to use the 8 shell extended magazine at tier 4, alongside the speed reload upgrade. For balance purposes, it cannot use No. 4 Buckshot, but slugs are available at tier 3.

Ithaca Model 37

The Ithaca Model 37 is the main pump-action shotgun for Western forces in Vietnam, in the "Trench Gun" configuration by default. It can take a bayonet at tier 1, a pistol grip or extended barrel at tier 2, No. 4 Buckshot or slugs at tier 3 and either a 7 shell extended mag or a quicker reload at tier 4. Like the M1897, it is capable of slam-fire.

Mossberg 500

The Mossberg 500 with a heat shield is another pump-action available for the Western forces in Vietnam. It differs from the Model 37 by having a longer range and slightly more damage, but a longer pump time. An 8 shell extended magazine is available at tier 4, along with the same No. 4 and slugs at tier 3 as most other shotguns.

Remington Model 1100

The semi-auto Reminton Model 1100 is the Vietnam era equivalent to the Auto-5, used by the Western forces. It has an 8 shell extended mag at tier 4 and a unique full auto upgrade at tier 3, effectively making the shotgun into the Model 7188. The other tier 3 upgrade is slugs.

Winchester Model 1897

The Winchester Model 1897 Trench Gun is one of the Korean era shotguns for the UN forces. It can be slam-fired and fitted with a bayonet. Minus the slam-fire, it is very similar to the Model 37, with slugs and No.4 buckshot at tier 3.

Rifles & Carbines

Some rifles in this category are actually sniper rifles, with the option to use iron sights instead of a optical sight. These weapons are the Arisaka Type 38, Enfield M1917, Kar98k, Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk I, M1903A4 Springfield, MAS-36 and the Mosin-Nagant M1891/30.

Arisaka Type 38

The Arisaka Type 38 is one of the snipers used by the North Korean forces in multiplayer. It can be equipped with the 2.5x scope made for the rifle.

Arisaka Type 38 Carbine

The tier 3 carbine barrel upgrade makes the weapon the shorter-barrelled carbine version of the Type 38.

Colt M16

The Colt M16 is available for use by the Western forces in the Vietnam multiplayer maps. It has a 20-round magazine that only holds 18 rounds, a common practise due to the springs not being quite strong enough for all 20 rounds, which could cause malfunctions. However, an extended 30 round magazine can be used with the tier 4 upgrade. When reloading, the charging handle is used, but the bolt release is used when the tier 4 jungle-mags are used. This applies to all AR-15 pattern rifles in the game.

When the M203 grenade launcher is equipped, the handguard changes from the triangular shape to the heat shield. One of the tier 2 upgrades uses an M16 pistol grip, a real modification used in the war by MACV-SOG. The tier 1 flash hider, which reduces flash and recoil slightly, is of the A1 "birdcage" style.

Enfield M1917

The Enfield M1917 is one of the sniper rifles available to the UN forces in Korea. It uses a 5 round stripper clip to reload, with the extra round being loaded individually due to the 6 round magazine. The scope is the Winchester A5 scope.

Harrington & Richardson T223

The Harrington & Richardson T223, an American copy of the Heckler & Koch HK33, is one of the options for the Western forces in Vietnam. It was used by Navy SEALs in the war, due to its larger 40 round magazine. This is the extended magazine option for the tier 4 upgrade, as the 25 rounder is the default. The tier 3 lightweight stock is a collapsible stock, which, as usual, is able to be collapsed mid-match.

Karabiner 98k

The Karabiner 98k is one of the North Korean sniper rifles, using the Zeiss ZF42 scope as its sniper scope. The ZF4 scope is another option, with less zoom and no glint compared to the ZF42,

Gewehr 98

The tier 2 long barrel upgrade turns the weapon into the Gewehr 98 rifle. The "Tritium Iron Sights" add the G98 irons.

The Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk. I is classed as a sniper rifles and is available to UN forces in Korea. The No. 32 Telescopic sight is the sniper scope for this rifle.

The tier 3 carbine barrel upgrade turns the full-length No. 4 into the Lee-Enfield No. 5 Mk I "Jungle Carbine". It has lower bullet velocity but better handling stats.

M1903A4 Springfield

The M1903A4 Springfield is an option for UN and Western forces in both wars. The M84 scope is the sniper scope for this rifle, and iron sights can be used also, which was not common for the A4, as it was a sniper variant of the A3.

M1 Carbine

The M1 Carbine can be used in both wars by Western forces. It can be upgraded to use 30 round magazines from the M2. The foregrip upgrade uses a wooden vertical foregrip seen on some paratrooper M1A1 Carbines. The M4 bayonet appears as a period-correct bayonet for the carbine, at tier 1. The other tier 1 upgrade is the T23 flash hider from the M3 Carbine,

Most of the World War II variations of the M1 Carbine were sent back to the Military Arsenals and retrofitted with the Bayonet Lug and adjustable rear sight. This is the version seen after late 1945 and all the way until the 1960s.

M1A1 Carbine

The lightweight stock upgrade adds the post-WWII paratrooper collapsible stock of the M1A1 Carbine, which can be folded.

M3 Carbine

The optional infrared scope turns the weapon into the M3 Carbine. It is not an upgrade and can be equipped alongside any 4 upgrades. Interestingly, when using this scope, the player character model changes to have the battery stored in a backpack, and wires are seen coming off the scope and going into the backpack. The foregrip upgrade changes visually when this scope is used, resembling the same foregrip used on M3 Carbines.

M2 Carbine

The M2 Carbine is a separate weapon from the M1, used by Western forces in both wars. It features the same upgrades as the M1, excluding the extended magazine, as it has the 30 round magazine by default. This weapon cannot use the M3 infrared scope.

The Mosin-Nagant M1891/30 is yet another sniper rifle available to the Vietnamese. It uses the PU scope, which also changes the model of the bolt to a down turned bolt handle.

Sa vz. 58 P

The vz. 58 is an inferior version of the Type 56 statistically, with the same upgrades, including the Romanian AK grip, and different reload animation when using jungle mags. The tier 1 flash hider is a conical design seen on the vz. 58 Pi, intended for use with an infrared sight. The vz. 58 is rarely used by VC in the campaign, and is an option in multiplayer maps when playing as the Vietnamese.

The tier 3 lightened stock upgrade turns the vz. 58 into the airborne side-folding stock version. As usual, the stock can be folded to the side on the move.

Type 56

The Norinco Type 56 rifle is the main service rifle of the VC, used in the Vietnam campaign and multiplayer. It has a usable bayonet, with the tier 1 upgrade, as well as an AKM muzzle break for the other tier 1 upgrade, and the tier 3 foregrip upgrade is a wooden Romanian AK grip. The rifle has the usual jungle-style mags or 45 round magazine at tier 4. The jungle-style magazines speed up reloads, with the player reaching underhand to pull the charging handle instead of flipping the whole weapon round, CS:GO style. When reloading from empty, the magazine is knocked out with the new one, which is then inserted into the rifle.

The tier 3 lightened stock upgrade makes the weapon into the Type 56-1. It offers slightly better handling stats with higher recoil, but it can be folded mid-match, amplifying the recoil and handling times.

XM177E1

The XM177E1 is available for use by Western troops in the Vietnam multiplayer maps, and they also appear in the campaign, used by MACV-SOG troops. It uses 20 round magazines loaded with 18 rounds, like the M16, but it can be upgraded with either 30 round magazines or jungle-style magazines for a faster reload in tier 4, also like the M16. The stock can be retracted to increase recoil and ADS speed, and the sound moderator actually works as it should do. The M203 launcher is not used with this weapon, the XM148 grenade launcher is used instead, although the two are statistically identical. One of the tier 2 upgrades uses an M16 pistol grip, a real modification used in the war by MACV-SOG.

Battle Rifles

AVS-36

The Soviet AVS-36 battle rifle is one of the options for the Vietnamese. The default fire mode is semi-auto, reflecting the real-world use of the rifle, with auto being very sparsely used, in order to avoid wearing out the barrel.

The Australian L1A1 is one of the battle rifles for the Western forces in Vietnam. It uses a 30 round magazine when using the extended mags upgrade.

M1 Garand

The M1 Garand is a battle rifle option for UN and Western forces in both wars. It can be upgraded to fire heavy load, high velocity bullets at tier 3, which, when paired with the M84 sniper scope, makes for a good semi-auto sniper. When the tier 1 flash hider upgrade is used, the T37 flash hider is attached to the muzzle. There is obviously no extended magazine option, and the speed reload upgrade makes it so the bolt moves forward on its own instead of requiring a push.

The other tier 3 upgrade is a short barrel, which turns the weapon into the experimental T26 Tanker Garand

M14

The iconic M14 is available in Vietnam for Western forces. It can fire in full-auto, but the default fire mode is semi-auto, reflecting the real usage of the rifle - full-auto was rarely used after it was discovered the rifle was uncontrollable in full-auto. By default, it has a 10 round magazine, but it can be upgraded to a 20 rounder.

Makeshift Vietnamese Rifle

A makeshift 7.62x39mm rifle is one of the options for the Vietnamese. It has very high accuracy but low muzzle velocity and can only kill in one shot with a headshot. It is bolt-action and breech-loaded. Upgrades include an impressive magazine upgrade from single-shot to 30 round AK magazines, which are loaded round-by-round, as the magazine is not detachable and is merely jammed into the rifle. A shorter barrel upgrade is also available, which does little except reduce accuracy and muzzle velocity, which just makes the weapon worse, and a straight pull bolt increases the fire rate.

The weapon resembles an SKS with the cylindrical receiver replaced with a bolt action.

MAS-49

The captured MAS-49 is another Vietnamese option, complete with period-correct APX scope.

SVT-40

The SVT-40 is available for the Korean and Vietnamese forces, available with or without the PU scope. The speed reload upgrade uses a stripper clip instead of individual rounds, although individual rounds are loaded when the rifle is loaded with anything except 10 shots. If loaded with only 5, a 5 round stripper clip is used, and if it is empty, the magazine is swapped out for a new one.

Type 56 Carbine

The Norinco Type 56 Carbine is the best battle rifle available to the Korean and Vietnamese forces. It has the usable spike bayonet built into the handguard, and can be equipped with the PU scope. The rifle has the same reload procedure as the SVT-40 above, except when empty a 10 round stripper clip is used instead.

M21

The M21 Sniper Rifle is one of the semi-auto snipers available to the Western forces in Vietnam. It can be upgraded to use 20 round magazines and a suppressor.

Parker-Hale M82

The Parker-Hale M82 sniper rifle, used by the Australian forces in Vietnam, is another bolt-action option for the Western forces in Vietnam. The speed reload loads the four rounds in groups of two, inserted simultaneously, instead of one-by-one.

The SVD Dragunov is the Vietnamese semi-auto sniper, comparable to the Western M21. Unlike the M21, it cannot use extended magazines.

The Winchester Model 70 is the large caliber sniper for the Western forces, chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum with a magazine capacity of 3 rounds. It uses the Unertl 8x scope.

Machine Guns

Bren Mk2

The Bren is one of the LMG options for the UN forces in Korea, and the Vietnamese forces in Vietnam.

Bren Mk2 - .303 British. Even more simplified wartime production variant: note the lack of the Mk1's expensive stainless steel flash hider, differently-shaped carry handle, non-adjustable bipod legs, and the simplified ladder rear sight without the adjustment drum of the Mk1. The Mk2 also has a distinctive lightening hole drilled in the middle of the magazine release catch, though this Mk2 part could end up on other variants as a replacement.

Degtyaryov DPM

The Chinese Type 63 LMG is one of the options for Vietnamese machine gunners. The magazine release is correctly depicted as the player character pulls on the rear sight wings to release the magazine.

Lewis Gun

The Lewis Gun is another option for Western forces in Korea, with either 47 or 97 round pan magazines. The water cooling shroud can be added back to gain an extra 6 rounds of continuous fire before the weapon overheats, reflecting the actual properties of the water cooling shroud, as when it was removed for use by the Home Guard in WWII, they found it really didn't do much.

M1918A2 BAR

The M1918A2 BAR is an LMG option for Western forces in both wars. The foregrip is a Thompson-style wooden grip.

M60

The iconic M60 appears as an option for Western forces in Vietnam, equipped with either a 100 round belt box or 200 round belt. The foregrip is an A1 pistol grip.

MG42

The MG42 appears as an option for use in both wars by the North Koreans and Vietnamese. It uses either a 50 round belt box or an 150 round belt.

RPD

The RPD is one of the belt-fed LMGs available for the Vietnamese. It uses an 100 round belt drum by default, but can be upgraded to use a loose 200 round belt or an larger 125 round belt drum. A short barrel is available as an upgrade, this is a real modification done by MACV-SOG operators during the war, as is the 125 round belt drum. The foregrip upgrade adds a wooden foregrip like the ones seen on Romanian AKs.

RPK

The RPK is one of the mag-fed LMGs available for the Vietnamese. It uses a 40 round magazine by default, but the 75 round drum is available as an upgrade. The muzzle break upgrade adds the slanted muzzle break from the AKM.

Stoner 63A "Commando" / Mark 23 Mod 0

The Stoner 63, in commando configuration, is an option for Western forces in Vietnam, serving as a lighter, less damaging belt fed MG compared to the M60. It uses right-feeding 100 round belt boxes, but can be upgraded to 150 round belt boxes at tier 3. The tier 4 speed reload simply speeds up the regular reload, but if the 30 round detachable magazines are used, they are jungle-style.
