Dragnet (1967)
Dragnet (1967) is the second television series incarnation featuring Jack Webb as LAPD Detective Sergeant Joe Friday. In this version of the series, Harry Morgan co-starred as his partner Bill Gannon. The series would spawn Adam-12, which would focus more on patrol officers of the LAPD. A comedic feature film continuation of the series starring Dan Aykroyd and Tom Hanks was released in 1987 and a more serious television remake starring Ed O'Neill as Joe Friday was broadcast in 2003.

In "D.H.Q.—Medical" (S4E04), a mentally ill man has a Colt 1903 that is described as a ".32 Automatic" by the detectives.
Luger P08
In "The Big Bullet" (S1E17), an elderly mother-in-law commits murder with a Luger P08.
M1911A1
In "The Gun" (S1E15), in the opening monolog, a M1911A1 is seen firing.
Smith & Wesson Model 10 (snub)
The Smith & Wesson Model 10 snub revolver is the sidearm carried by Sergeant Joe Friday (Jack Webb). In Season 2's "The Shooting Board" (S2E21), Sgt. Friday uses his S&W when confronting a robbery suspect at a laundromat. When asked to give up his weapon for tests, Friday hands it over and the profile of the gun is seen. Friday mentions that it is his Smith & Wesson revolver.
Smith & Wesson Model 15
Friday's partner, Officer Bill Gannon (Harry Morgan) carried a 4-inch barrel Smith & Wesson Model 15 "Combat Masterpiece" revolver.

Smith & Wesson Model 28
A Smith & Wesson Model 28 is seen being fired on the range in Season 2's "The Shooting Board". The barrel appears to be a six inch length. At the time this show was produced the Smith & Wesson Model 27 was made with the 3.5", 5" and 6.5" barrel lengths. The Model 28 was made with the 4" and 6" lengths only. The revolver also appears to have a smooth topstrap, rather than the checkered topstrap of the Model 27.
Colt Officers Model
A Colt Officers Model Special .38 with custom Farrant stocks is shown being loaded on the range in Season 2's "The Shooting Board".
Colt New Service
The suspect who exchanges gunfire with Friday in "The Shooting Board" (S2E21) uses what appears to be a Colt New Service.
Colt Single Action Army
A Colt Single Action Army is the weapon used in the murder of a young Japanese woman in Season 1's "The Big Gun" (S1E15).
Shotguns
Ithaca 37
Sgt. Joe Friday (Jack Webb) is seen using an Ithaca 37 shotgun in "The Shooting" (S1E11). Friday narrates going to the property room and checking out an Ithaca 37 Shotgun and 5 rounds of 00 Magnum Buckshot. The episode was about the hunt for suspect who shot an officer in the Line of Duty. The Ithaca is carried when Friday and Gannon (Harry Morgan) go to make the arrest of the suspect. The shotgun used is the LAPD Special Ithaca - 18 1/2" barrel, 4 shot mag tube, Rifle Sights, and Parkerized finish.
12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun (sawed-off)
In Season 1's "The Shooting" (S1E11), a Sawed Off Side by Side Shotgun is suspected to have been used in the shooting of an LAPD officer. Friday is seen holding the shotgun as he interrogates the suspects.

In "The Big Explosion" (S1E02), the suspect has an M1A1 Thompson submachine gun in his home.

M1 Garand
Several M1 Garand rifles were found in the suspect's home in "The Big Explosion" (S1E02).

The Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk.I rifle is shown briefly in the suspect's home in "The Big Explosion" (S1E02).
Winchester Model 70
The hippie utopian group steals what appears to be a Winchester 70 hunting rifle in "The Big Departure" (S1E25).
Other
Mk II Hand Grenade
In "The Grenade" (S2E01), Friday finds a Mk II Hand Grenade in a young man's room. The young man is later holding another grenade to threaten some people at a party.
Wall of Guns
Various antique firearms are seen on the wall of the Fielder Militia in Season 3, Episode 27, "Intelligence".
