No Time to Die is the 25th entry in the official James Bond film series and Daniel Craig returns for his fifth and final time as Agent 007. True Detective director Cary Joji Fukunaga makes his Bond directorial debut and the cast for the 2021 sequel includes Rami Malek, Ana de Armas, and Lashana Lynch in addition to returning cast members from the series Jeffrey Wright, Léa Seydoux, Christoph Waltz, Naomie Harris, and Ralph Fiennes. The film was scheduled to be released in April 2020, but was delayed until its theatrical premiere on October 8, 2021.
The following weapons were used in the film No Time to Die:
WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!
Handguns
Beretta 92FS
A Beretta 92FS is used during the prologue.
Beretta M9A3
A Beretta M9A3 with a tactical light is used by Saffin (Rami Malek) during the finale.
Walther PPK
James Bond (Daniel Craig) once again carries the Walther PPK as his sidearm of choice in the film. During a fight in Cuba, Paloma (Ana De Armas) is seen dual-wielding both a two-tone Walther PPK along with a Heckler & Koch MP7A1 submachine gun. Bond later gives the PPK to Madeline Swann Léa Seydoux to defend herself in Norway.
SIG Sauer P226R
James Bond (Daniel Craig) appears to opt for a SIG-Sauer P226 as his secondary to his carbine during the assault on the lair, which is very fitting for his background in the Special Boat Service and MI6. He carries it in a thigh holster. Interestingly, early promotional posters show James Bond carrying the PPK while wearing an empty P226 holster. Later promotional posters released following the announcement of the movie's release delay to November shows a modified version of the same poster, in which James Bond carries a P226 instead of a PPK, making his gun actually fit his gear.
FN Browning Hi-Power
James Bond (Daniel Craig) keeps a Browning Hi-Power with him in his Jamaica residence when he enjoys his life outside active service. Bond using the Browning Hi-Power is also a nod to his SBS background and to Casino Royale's Nambutu Embassy sequence where he disarmed the ambassador and used the gun for the majority of the firefight (mostly shooting at pipes to incapacitate soldiers or at the ceiling to scare the crowd).
Submachine Guns
Beretta PMX
A Beretta PMX submachine gun is used by Primo (Cyclops) (Dali Benssalah) in Matera, Italy.
Heckler and Koch MP7A1
A suppressed Heckler & Koch MP7A1 submachine gun is used by Nomi (Lashana Lynch) throughout the film. A Heckler & Koch MP7A1 submachine gun along with a Walther PPK pistol is seen used by Paloma (Ana de Armas), after Bond tosses it to her.
Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW
SPECTRE henchmen use the Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW in Cuba, one of which is later taken and used by Paloma.
Rifles
AKS-74U
Saffin's henchmen are armed with AKS-74U rifles with railed handguards and foregrips throughout the film. Bond also uses an AKS-74U during a scene in Santiago, Cuba.
Czech Small Arms Sa vz. 58 Compact
A CSA Sa vz. 58 Compact is used by Saffin (Rami Malek) in the opening sequence.
Mk 18 Mod 0
Bond uses a Mk 18 Mod 0 fitted with an EOTech sight, suppressor, and canted iron sights during the finale.
Beretta ARX-160 A3
Bond is seen using a Beretta ARX-160 A3 fitted with a Beretta GLX-160 A1 grenade launcher. A SPECTRE henchman in Matera, Italy is also seen using an ARX-160 while attacking Bond.
Heckler & Koch HK416
SPECTRE henchmen use Heckler & Koch HK416 carbines during a shootout with Bond and Paloma in Cuba.
Machine Guns
GE M134 Minigun
Bond's Aston Martin DB5 now is fitted with GE M134 Minigun-style weapons mounted behind the headlights.
Other
RGD-5 Hand Grenade
Saffin's henchmen attack Bond with RGD-5 hand grenades during the finale.
