Godzilla: Final Wars is the 28th entry in the Toho-produced Godzilla film series and 6th in the Millennium era. The film marked the last time Godzilla was on the big screen until the 2014 Legendary-produced remake. This 2004 sequel also was the last Toho-produced Godzilla film until the release of the 2016 Toho feature film revival.
