In season six, the members of the Caravan try to adjust to the new harsh life in the Pioneer settlements. However, while they are thinking about how to rebel against Virginia, the Rangers are trying to deal with another problem in the form of a mystical cult organizing diversions. The season is directed by Michael Satrazemis, Ron Underwood, Sharat Raju and others, consists of sixteen episodes and was premiered on October 11, 2020 on AMC.

Beretta 92FS
A wounded Morgan (Lennie James) takes a Beretta 92FS out of an overturned police car in "The End Is the Beginning" (S6E01), but the gun turns out to be empty. When he meets a survivor named Isaac (Michael Abbott Jr.), he gives him the gun to load it, after which they both use the Beretta against the bounty hunter Emile LaRoux and the horde of walkers at the dam.
Colt M1911A1
Victor (Colman Domingo) has a M1911A1 pistol in a holster in "The Key" (S6E04).
Glock 17
One of the Pioneer Rangers named Adrienne (Charissa Allen) carries a holstered Glock 17 in "Welcome to the Club" (S6E02).
Orion Flare Gun
Althea (Maggie Grace) finds the CRM's secret cache on the roof of an CVA office building and uses an Orion Flare Gun from there to get Isabelle's attention in the helicopter at the end of "Alaska" (S6E03).
SIG-Sauer P226R
Pioneer Ranger Jeb (Lee Stringer), assigned to watch over the workers, snatches a SIG-Sauer P226R and shoots a worker trying to free himself from the walkers during the factory accident at the beginning of "Welcome to the Club" (S6E02).
Springfield Armory XD-S
CVA office survivor named Lee (Todd Terry) points what appears to be a Springfield Armory XD-S with an X-Tension gripped mag at Dwight and Althea during their first meeting in "Alaska" (S6E03). This gun is an anachronism since the outbreak started in 2010 and the XD-S was introduced to the US market in 2013.
Revolvers
Single Action Army
One of the Pioneer Rangers (Jenny Biggs) carries what appears to be a blued Single Action Army revolver in a holster at the end of "The End Is the Beginning" (S6E01) and in "Welcome to the Club" (S6E02). Custom twin nickel-plated Single Action Army revolvers continue to be the sidearm carried by John Dorie (Garret Dillahunt) in Season 6. At least two Rangers (including Jenny Biggs) are armed with Colt M16A2s escorting Virginia's convoy at the end of "The End Is the Beginning" (S6E01). The other two Rangers (Gary Jones and Don Daro) guarding the sugar factory in "Welcome to the Club" (S6E02) are also armed with rifles.
Colt M4A1
The Pioneer Ranger named Jeb (Lee Stringer) watching the workers at the beginning of "Welcome to the Club" (S6E02) is armed with a Colt M4A1 with a folding rear sight. Another Pioneer on horseback (cameo of producer Frank Hildebrand) in Lawton is seen with the rifle fitted with a Magpul stock and PMAG, as well as Ranger Adrienne (Charissa Allen) searching for the missing Dakota at the factory later in the episode. After her death, Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) picks up the rifle and shoots the horde of walkers.
M4A1 (w/Desert Ordnance XM4 lower)
Ranger Marcus (Justin Smith) holds a custom camouflage M4A1 with a Desert Ordnance XM4 lower and an EOTech sight upon arriving at the factory with other Rangers in "Welcome to the Club" (S6E02).
Mossberg MVP Predator
One of the Pioneer Rangers (uncredited) patrolling the area looking for Morgan holds a Mossberg MVP Predator at the beginning of "The End Is the Beginning" (S6E01).
Romy G AK-47
Pioneer Ranger Ben (Samuel French) arrives at the sugar factory looking for Dakota in "Welcome to the Club" (S6E02) and is armed with an Romy G AK-47 (semi-only PM-63 variant for the Romanian Patriotic Guard). Later, Janis (Holly Curran) picks up his gun and together with Alicia shoots the remaining walkers.
Type 56-1 (Replica)
The Pioneer Ranger (Arlene Cavazos) holds what appears to be a replica of Type 56-1 guarding the sugar factory in "Welcome to the Club" (S6E02).

A Pioneer sniper (uncredited) shoots a fugitive worker (Kirk Riley) with an unknown bolt-action rifle in "Welcome to the Club" (S6E02).

Mossberg 590A1 Retrograde
Pioneer's second-in-command Ranger Hill (Craig Nigh) holds a Mossberg 590A1 Retrograde at the end of "The End Is the Beginning" (S6E01). This specific 590A1 is an anachronism since the outbreak started in 2010 and the Retrograde series was introduced to the US market in 2018-19.
Remington Model 870
One of the Pioneer Rangers (Ron LeBlanc) is armed with a Remington Model 870 escorting Virginia's convoy at the end of "The End Is the Beginning" (S6E01). He is also seen with the shotgun when he arrives with Virginia and the other Rangers to pick up Dakota at the sugar factory in "Welcome to the Club" (S6E02).

M249 SAW Para
Two M249 SAW Para mounted on Althea's BAE Systems Caiman appear again in Season 6, for the first time in "Welcome to the Club" (S6E02) when Ranger Marcus lowers the hatch threatening Victor and Alicia for insubordination.
