LAPD Officers including Gonzales (uncredited) carry holstered [[Beretta 92FS]]s during the protests in "So Close, Yet So Far" (S1E02). National Guardsmen carry holstered 92FS (likely standing in for the military issue [[Beretta M9]], which is virtually identical to the 92FS) starting in "The Dog" (S1E03). Lieutenant Moyers ([[Jamie McShane]]) also carries the holstered gun in "Not Fade Away" (S01E04) and another pistol is seen dropped next to a dead body in the "Dark Zone". Daniel Salazar ([[Ruben Blades]]) takes the gun from Andrew after his capture and uses it to kill several walkers in the National Guard Compound in "The Good Man" (S1E06). After safely evacuating from the National Guard Compound to the Strand house, Lisa Ortiz ([[Elizabeth Rodriguez]]) commits suicide with Andrew's Beretta . Corporal Andrew Adams ([[Shawn Hatosy]]) with another gun attacks Ofelia on the parking lot, but after disarming, Daniel takes the second gun. Madison Clark ([[Kim Dickens]]) and Travis Manawa ([[Cliff Curtis]]) also briefly use a [[Beretta 92FS]] in "The Good Man" (S1E06).

However, Andrew holds the gun again in "The Good Man" (S1E06) encountering Madison's group in the parking lot. Liza Ortiz ([[Elizabeth Rodriguez]]), Madison Clark ([[Kim Dickens]]) and Travis Manawa ([[Cliff Curtis]]) as well as the National Guardsmen, including Private Jones ([[Artine Brown]]) also hold pistols throughout the episode.

LAPD SWAT officers shoot infected hospital patients with [[M4A1]]s at the beginning of "The Dog" (S1E03). All the National Guardsmen in the Safe Zone India are armed with [[M4A1]] rifles with ACOG or Aimpoint sights, grips and flashlights throughout the season. The rifles first appear on several of the soldiers eliminating Susan at the end of "The Dog" (S1E03). In "Not Fade Away" (S1E04), the rifles are notably seen during the break-in at the Clark house.

Pistols

Beretta 92FS

LAPD Officers including Gonzales (uncredited) carry holstered Beretta 92FSs during the protests in "So Close, Yet So Far" (S1E02). National Guardsmen carry holstered 92FS (likely standing in for the military issue Beretta M9, which is virtually identical to the 92FS) starting in "The Dog" (S1E03). Lieutenant Moyers (Jamie McShane) carries the holstered gun in "Not Fade Away" (S1E04) and another pistol is seen dropped next to a dead body in the "Dark Zone". Corporal Andrew Adams (Shawn Hatosy) also briefly carries the Beretta in "Cobalt" (S1E05) until Daniel Salazar (Ruben Blades) takes it away and later uses it during a diversion at a field hospital in "The Good Man" (S1E06), killing several walkers. However, Andrew holds the gun again in "The Good Man" (S1E06) encountering Madison's group in the parking lot. Liza Ortiz (Elizabeth Rodriguez), Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) and Travis Manawa (Cliff Curtis) as well as the National Guardsmen, including Private Jones (Artine Brown) also hold pistols throughout the episode.
