Lara Croft: Tomb Raider is the 2001 feature film adaptation of the popular Tomb Raider videogame series. Angelina Jolie stars as the iconic adventure heroine who searches around the world for a mysterious relic. The film was directed by Simon West and cast included Daniel Craig, Iain Glen, and Jolie's real-life father Jon Voight, who portrays Lara's father in the film. Jolie would reprise her role in the 2003 sequel Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life.
The following weapons were used in the film Lara Croft: Tomb Raider:
Handguns
Heckler & Koch USP Match
The signature pistols of Lara Croft (Angelina Jolie) in the film are Heckler & Koch USP Match with stainless slides. The handguns are 9mm models, not .45 ACP as previously believed. This is evident as throughout much of the film, Lara's USP's are equipped with JetFunnels (H&K's fancy name for flared magazine wells) which are not available for the .45 version and the corresponding 18-round 9mm magazines. As in the original videogame, she keeps her handguns prominently holstered on her thighs and almost always draws them both at the same time. She also carries custom mag holders to facilitate quicker reloading of both handguns.
Walther P99
Manfred Powell (Iain Glen) carries a Walther P99 through much of the film, most notably during the shootout with the statues at the temple of light and during his fight with Lara at the end of the movie. Alex West (Daniel Craig) is seen using one as well (kind of ironic, huh?).
Smith & Wesson 5946
A Smith & Wesson 5946 is used in the deleted card game scene.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
Manfred Powell is seen pulling a Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolver on Lord Richard Croft (Jon Voight) in a vision Lara has after obtaining the triangle.
Beretta 92FS
Alex West (Daniel Craig) is seen loading his Beretta 92FS after coming out of the shower and hearing someone sneak into his room. The Beretta 92FS is also seen in a deleted scene in which Lara breaks up Alex West's poker game.
Submachine Guns
Steyr TMP
Lara Croft (Angelina Jolie) acquires a Steyr TMP from a member of the raid team and uses it to score several kills.
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
A photo of Lara's team she apparently previously served with are armed with Heckler & Koch MP5A2s. Some can also be seen on the gun rack in the equipment of Lara's home.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
A guard at the airfield is seen carrying a Heckler & Koch MP5A3 briefly. Some of the men also carry MP5A3s in the Arctic.
Rifles
AKS-74U
Alex West (Daniel Craig) also carries an AKS-74U while in the jungle. He aims it at Lara when she's cornered at the waterfall.
Heckler & Koch G36K
Heckler & Koch G36Ks fitted with export-type optics are employed by the Illuminati operatives during the raid at Croft Manor with suppressors and in the expedition to the Arctic; all were fitted with laser sights. They were also used in Cambodia without said laser sights.
Shotguns
Remington 870 Shotgun (Nickel-plated)
Lara's butler Hillary (Chris Barrie) is seen taking out a nickel-plated Remington 870 shotgun fitted with a pistol grip during the raid on the manor. The shotgun is NOT the Stainless Steel 870 Marine Magnum, but the classic 870 riot configuration with a nickel finish.
Machine Guns
Browning M2HB
A visually modified Browning M2HB machine gun is seen mounted on the Russian transports that take Lara and the others through Siberia.
Other
Lara's Manor Armory
During the raid on her manor, Lara is seen trying to open her armory, which contains several weapons, including a Vz. 61 "Skorpion", a Steyr TMP, Heckler & Koch MP5's and a SPAS-12 shotgun.
Improvised Gun - SnapOn™ Impact Hammer (pistol)
In the film, Lara uses a SnapOn™ Impact Hammer or Air Hammer as a weapon to knock out an attacker. Though the device is very 'pistol-like' in shape, the manufacturers go to great lengths 'not' to call it a 'gun'.
Behind The Scenes Arms Training
Angelina Jolie was reportedly trained by a former SAS member, name not known at the moment. At least it looks like she took the training seriously, but I don't know about the training on dual wielding handguns.
