Shin Kamen Rider (Japanese title: シン・仮面ライダー, Shin Kamen Raidā; also released as Shin Masked Rider) is a 2023 superhero film and a reimagining of the original 1971-1973 Kamen Rider series. Directed by Hideaki Anno as part of his Shin Japan Heroes cinematic universe, the film follows Takeshi Hongo (Sosuke Ikematsu), a motorcyclist who is kidnapped and turned into a cyborg by the organization SHOCKER. Aided by Ruriko Midorikawa (Minami Hamabe), Hongo fights against SHOCKER and its army of cyborgs.
