The first season is created by Scott M. Gimple and Matt Negrete and directed by Magnus Martens, Michael Cudlitz and others. This season consists of 10 episodes and focuses on a group of teenagers who leave a safe community for the first time to search for their missing father. In the endless wastelands of a destroyed world, they will have to quickly learn the new living rules to keep from being killed. But since their father is a major asset to the giant community called Civic Republic, the daughters and their companions are followed by soldiers. The season premiered on October 4, 2020 on AMC.

The following weapons were used in Season 1 of the television series The Walking Dead: World Beyond:

Pistols

Beretta 92FS

U.S. Marines, including Mallick (Annet Mahendru), Drake (Gil Perez-Abraham), Private Owens (Michel Curiel), Corporal Simms (John Paul Steele), and Sergeant Wilkins (Dave MacDonald), PFC Farmer (Ryan Price), Private Powlowski (Carly Sands), carry Beretta 92FS pistols in holsters in flashbacks in "Truth or Dare" (S1E07), standing in for the US military's M9.

Glock 17

As a sidearm, Civic Republic Military soldiers carry Glock 17 pistols in a waist holster. It can be seen holstered in "Brave" (S1E01) during meeting with Campus Colony. At the end of the episode, Sergeant Major C. Barca (Al Calderon) appears with the gun as well. One of the CRM soldiers arresting Barca in Elizabeth's apartment in "The Tyger and the Lamb" (S1E03) carries the Glock in a shoulder holster. Due a continuity error, Felix's Glock 19 changes again to the Glock 17 at the end of "Truth or Dare" (S1E07). Frank Newton (Robert Palmer Watkins) and another CRM soldier (Aaron Snyder) have holstered Glocks in "The Sky Is a Graveyard" (S1E08). During the arrest of Silas by the CRM soldiers, one of them has a Glock in a holster.

Barca opens the door and to his surprise sees soldiers with guns in "The Tyger and the Lamb" (S1E03).

Glock 19

In the flashback from the beginning of the apocalypse in "Brave" (S1E01), a pregnant woman, Amelia May Ortiz (Christina Brucato), tries to take the pickup from Hope and Kari Bennett by threatening them with a Glock 19, after which little Hope (Samantha Lorraine) picks up a dropped gun and shoots her attacker. After the shot, the gun falls to the ground, which is shown in the dream sequence in "The Blaze of Gory" (S1E02). The gun lies on the table in Elizabeth's (Julia Ormond) apartment in "The Tyger and the Lamb" (S1E03). When two soldiers come for Barca, she takes and chambers it. Felix Carlucci (Nico Tortorella) swaps the standard-issue Campus Colony Walther CCP for a Glock 19 and uses it since "The Wrong End of a Telescope" (S1E04), while searching for supplies at Hvass High School. At the beginning of "Shadow Puppets" (S1E06), Felix points his gun to the back of a stranger who suddenly appears. Later, he uses it trying to return the CRM truck. Hope (Alexa Mansour) steals Felix's gun, after revealing Huck's betrayal in "The Deepest Cut" (S1E09). In the Season 1 finale "In This Life" (S1E10), she points gun at Huck while trying to get answers. Due a continuity error, Huck's Walther CCP transforms into Felix's Glock. Hope removes the silencer and points the gun at herself, threatening to kill herself if Huck and Felix don't stop fighting.

The gun in the holster is seen when The Endlings run off with new friends.

Walther CCP

Head of Security at the Campus Colony Felix Carlucci (Nico Tortorella) is originally armed with a Walther CCP pistol in "The Blaze of Gory" (S1E02). He checks and reloads the gun several times during a rest stop in an abandoned garage. However, in later episodes the pistol is changed to a Glock 17. Jennifer "Huck" Mallick (Annet Mahendru) also carried the CCP pistol since "The Wrong End of a Telescope" (S1E04). Huck disassembles and cleans her gun at the beginning of "Truth or Dare" (S1E07). Huck's pistol is briefly seen in her holster in "The Sky Is a Graveyard" (S1E08). Huck uses her silenced pistol to kill walkers in "The Deepest Cut" (S1E09). Felix pulls the pistol from Huck's holster and points it at her, but loses it during a fight. Due a continuity error, when Hope pick up it, the Walther transforms into Felix's Glock. Hope keeps Huck at gunpoint throughout the trip to the meeting point with Elizabeth. When they arrive, Hope gives up the gun. This gun is an anachronism since the outbreak started in 2010 and the CCP was introduced to the US market in 2014

Rifles/Carbines

Colt M4A1

The Civic Republic Military soldiers use Colt M4A1 carbines with a scopes, tactical grips, and a dual stabbing implement, but without the "chainsaw"-style grip as seen in Fear the Walking Dead, as their primary weapon throughout the season. The squad of soldiers accompanying Elizabeth Kublek to meet the Campus Colony delegation at the beginning of "Brave" (S1E01), on her command, eliminate the approaching walkers, attracted by the helicopter. Later in the episode, the two soldiers (Aaron Snyder and Stacy Woodson) accompanying Lieutenant Colonel to the Monument Day in Campus Colony also carry rifles. At the end of the episode, the Republican army attacks Campus Colony, wiping out all of its residents. Elizabeth Kublek (Julia Ormond) asks Sergeant Major C. Barca (Al Calderon) for a rifle and personally puts down one of the walkers with her muzzle blades. One of the CRM soldiers (Aaron Snyder) holds a Civil Republic rifle in "The Sky Is a Graveyard" (S1E08). CRM soldiers shoot walkers while chasing Will Campbell (Jelani Alladin) in "The Deepest Cut" (S1E09). The CRM soldiers who look for the Endlings are also armed with rifles in "In This Life" (S1E10). CRM soldiers accompanying Elizabeth when meeting with Huck and Hope are armed with M4A1s.
