Taxi is a 1998 French action-comedy written and produced by Luc Besson and directed by Gérard Pirès. In Marseille, skilled scooter-driving pizza delivery boy Daniel finally has his dreams come true and gets a taxi license. Caught by the police for a huge speed infraction, he will help Emilien, a loser inspector who can't drive, on the track of German bank robbers. The film would spawn three sequels, a 2004 American feature film remake starring Queen Latifah and Jimmy Fallon, as well as a 2014 NBC television series adaptation Taxi Brooklyn.

Emilien (Frédéric Diefenthal), along with other policemen, carries a SIG-Sauer P228 as his main weapon. However, it is only seen fired once, and dual wielded, at Kruger's garage.
Petra (Emma Sjöberg) keeps a silver SIG-Sauer P230 as her main weapon. She only fires it during the first heist gunfight, then the pistol stays in her shoulder holster for the rest of the movie.
Heckler & Koch P7M13
The "boss" (Richard Sammel) of the German gang uses a silenced Heckler & Koch P7M13 to commit heists. It is never seen fired.
Alain (Edouard Montoute) uses a Beretta 84FS during the first heist gunfight. However, it is seen very briefly.
Alain (Edouard Montoute) carries a silver Beretta 92F after the S.D.L.M. bank heist. A policeman is seen firing one during the gunfight after the first heist. However, these pistols could also be PAMAS G1, being in service in the late '90s in the French police.
Two of the Minister's bodyguards and one of the G.I.G.N members are seen using French Manurhin F1 revolvers during the first heist gunfight.
Commissaire Gibert (Bernard Farcy) carries a Jericho 941 as his main weapon. However, it is only seen in one scene, during the first heist gunfight.
CZ 75 Compact
During the first heist gunfight, one of the Minister's bodyguard is seen firing a CZ 75 Compact.
Some of the French Police officers are seen using Mossberg 500 shotguns. Some of them are fitted with wood or synthetic furniture.
Mossberg 590 Combat Cruiser
A policeman uses a Mossberg 590 Combat Cruiser during the first heist gunfight.
Several Remington 870 shotguns are seen on a weaponry.
Heckler & Koch MP5K
Kruger (Grégory Knop) and his men are seen using Heckler & Koch MP5 "Kurz" submachine guns (fitted with SEF trigger groups) when Emilien (Frédéric Diefenthal) shows his police badge.
During the first heist gunfight, when the backup troops are called, a CRS policeman is seen holding a Beretta M12 submachine gun.
Two of the German bank robbers carry FN P90 submachine guns.
IMI Galil ARM
A IMI Galil ARM is used to shoot an emetor into the trunk of the robber's Mercedes. It has the bipod and the flash hider removed for an unknown reason. However, the rifle is never completely seen.
SIG SG 551
SIG SG 551 rifles are used by multiple policemen, along with a Minister's bodyguard.
SIG SG 540
A SIG SG 540 is seen in an armory.
SIG SG 543
Several SIG SG 543 are seen used by the policemen.
FN Minimi Paratrooper
One of the bank robber carries a FN Minimi Paratrooper machine gun. It is seen fired only one time.
Emilien watches a TV show where a man shoots an emetor into a car. This gave him the idea for the Galil.
