Later in Season 4, Casey appears to carry a customized SIG-Sauer P226 as his sidearm. The pistol resembles the the Tactical Operations variant, being fitted with an Elite slide with front cocking serrations, TRUGLO Tritium Fiber Optic front sight, and extended Magwell grips with 20 round magazine. However, the pistol lacks the beavertail of the Tactical Operations pistol, has nickel accents and has had the notron finish of the slide removed from the raised portions of the cocking serrations. It was also seen in the hands of Gaez (Lou Diamond Phillips) when he threatens Carina in "Chuck Versus the Cat Squad" (S4E15).
+
Carina holds a normal SIG-Sauer P226 Tactical Operations pistol on the CAT Squad traitor in "Chuck Versus the CAT Squad". Casey upgrades his sidearm to a custom SIG-Sauer P226 Tactical Operations in "Chuck Versus The Family Volkoff" (S4E22). The pistol is fitted with an Elite slide with front cocking serrations, TRUGLO Tritium Fiber Optic front sight, and extended Magwell grips on a 20 round magazine. The pistol also has nickel accents, and nitron finish of the slide removed from the raised portions of the cocking serrations replaced with the nickel accents. In Season 4, Casey's gun is fitted with a laser sight. Casey continues to use the pistol in Season 5, but without the laser sight.

Gaez (Lou Diamond Phillips) threatens Carina with a custom SIG in "Chuck Versus the Cat Squad" (S4E15). Gaez' pistol resembles the the Tactical Operations variant, being fitted with an Elite slide with front cocking serrations, TRUGLO Tritium Fiber Optic front sight, and extended Magwell grips with 20 round magazine. However, the pistol lacks the beavertail of the Tactical Operations pistol indicating that it is more likely the older Super Capacity Tactical fitted with aftermarket Magwell grips. It is further customized with nickel accents and has had the Nitron finish of the slide removed from the raised portions of the cocking serrations. The same pistol was latter used in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

In Season 3's "Chuck Versus the Fake Name" (S3E08), Chuck takes the identity of Rafe Gruber, the world's most dangerous assassin, and is taken to an apartment where an AIG Asymmetric Warrior ASW338LM is set up for a hit. The real Rafe Gruber (Johnny Messner) later is seen in the apartment and looks through the rifle's scope. John Casey finally is seen using the rifle and says apparently he's one of 5 people in the world that can make that shot.

+
WE Hi-Capa 3.8 C
The "Trank Gun" frequently seen used by Chuck in the series is an airsoft handgun known as the Baby Hi-Capa 3.8. The airsoft pistol is customized to fire tranquilizer darts with the standard "Green Gas" rather than airsoft pellets. It is also customized with an extended barrel due to painting over the orange tip (required by US law), with metallic silver paint. A red or green laser sometimes accompanies the gun on it's bottom accessory rack. The ammunition is varied, but most commonly used are the "10mg Darts". The darts can also be stuck manually into someone to gain the same effect. It has been referred to several times that the medication in the darts is a diluted Tetradotoxin (Anhydrotetrodotoxin) solution. There is another kind of dart that has a fast-acting small dose of Ketamine. The vents on the slide indicate that it is a Type 8. Because of Chuck's distaste for real weapons, the team begins to use the trank guns much more often beginning in Season 4, especially on kidnapping missions. The trank guns are often used on unarmed/unsuspecting persons instead of more lethal weapons.

Chuck Season 4 (2010-2011)

The following weapons were used in Season 4 of the series Chuck:

Pistols

SIG-Sauer P229 (Custom)

Colonel John Casey (Adam Baldwin) continues to use his custom "Government Issue" SIG-Sauer P229 at the beginning of Season 4. Sarah pulls the SIG in "Chuck Versus the Leftovers" (S4E10). Chuck is seen holding the custom P229 on Hugo Panzer in "Chuck Versus the Cubic Z" (S4E03). Director Jane Bentley (Robin Givens) holds a SIG-Sauer P229 Custom of her own in "Chuck Versus the Muuurder" (S4E16).

The actual, screen-used SIG-Sauer P229 used by Adam Baldwin on Chuck. This weapon was built and supplied to the production by Independent Studio Services.

Director Jane Bentley (Robin Givens) holds the SIG-Sauer P229 Custom in a standoff with Josie, holds the SW99 in "Chuck Versus the Muuurder" (S4E16).
A CIA agent holds his custom "Government Issue" SIG P229 at the command of Clyde Decker in "Chuck Versus the Cliffhanger" (S4E24).

SIG-Sauer P226 Tactical Operations

SIG-Sauer P226 Super Capacity Tactical (Customized)

He is seen giving up his pistol to Fatima Tazi (Lesley-Ann Brandt). In a continuity error, Fatima is seen holding the similar Walther PPK/S instead of the SIG.
