Both Robert Rath ([[Sylvester Stallone]]) and Miguel Bain ([[Antonio Banderas]]) use Ruger MkII's that have integral suppresors, these are definatelly not Hi Standards which have a completely different upper reciever design, aswell asslide area. They are .22 caliber pistols that were very popular with assassins, they are quiet and have limited recoil and flash. Generally a .22 is smaller then other pistols. And no .22LR does not bounce around in someones head, that is hollywood BS. Even though it only has a 10 round magazine, they seem to have those infamous bottomless Hollywood magazines that never run out.

In the cemetary scene Miguel Bain ([[Antonio Banderas]]) uses a 9mm carbine, the Gonzc GC which is based on the [[Claridge Hi-Tec/Goncz GA]] series of weapons. It is fitted with a scope to take out the target at the funeral, and to kill some dumb police officers who apparently left the gun loaded, something real police officers would never do.   This is the weapon he later uses in the cab.

Bain comments to Rath that he began to carry the "Ruger .22" once he found out that it was the same weapon Rath used in his assassinations.
