Resident Evil: Retribution is the fifth installment in the Resident Evil film franchise. Milla Jovovich returns as Alice in the 2012 3D sequel and several characters from the previous films also make return appearances. In addition, several characters from the videogames not previously introduced make their film debuts here including Leon S. Kennedy (Johann Urb), Barry Burton (Kevin Durand), and Ada Wong (Li Bingbing).
The following weapons were used in the film Resident Evil: Retribution:
WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!
Handguns
SIG-Sauer P226R
Alice (Milla Jovovich) is seen dual-wielding SIG-Sauer P226R pistols when engaging Umbrella soldiers at the beginning of the film, which takes place in the immediate aftermath of Resident Evil: Afterlife. This may be a continuity error, as she was not seen using these pistols in the previous film. Rain (Michelle Rodriguez) uses a P226R to threaten Ada.
SIG-Sauer P220 Sport
Alice uses a SIG-Sauer P220 Sport she obtains from a cop car in the Tokyo simulation. The pistol is seen clicking empty instead of the slide lock.
Beretta 92FS
An officer with the RPD is seen briefly using a Beretta 92FS while repelling zombies at the film's beginning. This is a nod to the games, where the Beretta is one of the most common handguns available in Raccoon City.
Glock 17
Ada Wong (Li Bingbing) carries a Glock 17 with a rail-mounted weaponlight as her weapon of choice in the film. During a fight, Alice also is seen holding the pistol.
Heckler & Koch USP9
A two-tone Heckler & Koch USP9 is the sidearm carried by Luther West (Boris Kodjoe). He appears to be carrying two pistols, but is also seen drawing both of them once.
Para-Ordnance Nite-Tac
A Para-Ordnance Nite-Tac pistol fitted with a Streamlight TLR-2 laser/light combo appears to be the sidearm of Leon Kennedy.
Smith and Wesson 629 Classic
Barry Burton (Kevin Durand) has a Smith & Wesson Model 629 Classic as his sidearm. It is mocked up to resemble the Silver Serpent from Resident Evil's Remake (which was a custom Colt Python/Colt Anaconda hybrid) by adding a pvc-looking underlug weight. Barry uses it during the car chase through the Moscow simulation and during his last stand against the Umbrella soldiers.
Submachine guns
KRISS Vector
The KRISS Vector is the main gun handled by Alice (Milla Jovovich) in the film. The SMGs seen have the stocks removed; they are first seen as part of a cache of weapons discovered by Alice and then are dual-wielded by her throughout the film. The Vectors do not have any sights, mechanical or optical, mounted on their top rails.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
