The '''UTAS UTS-15''' is a modern pump-action shotgun, the principle feature being twin side-by-side tube magazines above the barrel. It bears a design similarity to the [[Kel-Tec KSG]] which was released at a similar time, however the UTS-15 differs in that the shotgun can be set to feed individually from either tube (like the KSG) are can alternately feed rounds from both tubes, giving it a true continuous 14 round ammunition capacity.

Due to the rather notorious unreliability of the gun, there have been several "generations" of the UTS-15, with each new generation offering minor incremental design adjustments to improve reliability; the general design and the appearance of the UTS-15 remained largely identical across the generations. Notable changes between the generations include:
 +

 +
* Gen 1: Original generation.
 +
* Gen 2: Gen 1's hooked selector (which was prone to breakages) is replaced with a solid rectangular tube selector.
 +
* Gen 3: Many plastic parts are replaced with more durable magnesium parts.
 +
* Gen 4: The pump action is now piston driven to reduce the possibility of short stroking.

Gen 1 UTAS UTS-15 - 12 gauge
Gen 2 UTAS UTS-15 - 12 gauge
Gen 3 UTAS UTS-15 - 12 gauge
Gen 4 UTAS UTS-15 - 12 gauge

The UTAS UTS-15 is a modern pump-action shotgun, the principle feature being twin side-by-side tube magazines above the barrel, similar to the NeoStead 2000. Unlike the Kel-Tec KSG, it is able to alternate feed from both tube magazines with the tube selector in the central position.

Due to the rather notorious unreliability of the gun, there have been several "generations" of the UTS-15, with each new generation offering minor incremental design adjustments to improve reliability; the general design and the appearance of the UTS-15 remained largely identical across the generations. Notable changes between the generations include:

  • Gen 1: Original generation.
  • Gen 2: Gen 1's hooked selector (which was prone to breakages) is replaced with a solid rectangular tube selector.
  • Gen 3: Many plastic parts are replaced with more durable magnesium parts.
  • Gen 4: The pump action is now piston driven to reduce the possibility of short stroking.
