Jan Tríska (Born on 4 November 1936 in Prague, Czechoslovakia - died 25 September 2017 in Prague, Czech Republic) was a Czech-American actor. He was originally a dancer and became the youngest-ever member of the National Theatre. Jan established himself also as a film and television actor. After the signing of Charta 77, he was forced to emigrate to the U.S.A, where he worked with directors such as Peter Brook, Peter Sellars, Anatoly Efros and Milos Forman. Triska is survived by his wife, actress Karla Chadimová, their two daughters, Karla and Jana, and his grandson, Augustin.
