(The P2000 is the closest model I could find to the "Combat Pistol", but I'm not sure that this is the actual one (and the one in-game has a two-tone finish). Maybe it's a hybrid of some pistols?) |

The "Pistol" in the game resembles a [[Taurus PT92]] with a new slide that somewhat resembles an [[M1911]] slide with an open top for the usual Beretta look. It holds 12 rounds in its magazine (16 with the "Extended Clip" attachment), while its real counterpart holds 17 (though the 12-round magazine would be correct for the compact variant, the PT92C). In-game it is incorrectly referred to as being .45 caliber instead of 9x19mm. However, in a mission, Michael refers it to a 9mm in mission, "I got a 9mm pistol pointed to your head", when he forces Franklin to crash his SUV into Simeon Yetarian's car showcase. | The "Pistol" in the game resembles a [[Taurus PT92]] with a new slide that somewhat resembles an [[M1911]] slide with an open top for the usual Beretta look. Grand Theft Auto V (also known as GTA5 or GTAV) is the fifth installment of the Grand Theft Auto series being developed by Rockstar North, and published by Rockstar Games. The game was announced October 25, 2011 with its trailer debuting on November 2. The game was released on September 17th, 2013.
The following weapons can be seen in the video game Grand Theft Auto V:
Handguns
Taurus PT92
The "Pistol" in the game resembles a Taurus PT92 with a new slide that somewhat resembles an M1911 slide with an open top for the usual Beretta look.
Heckler & Koch P2000
What appears to be a H&K P2000 is avaiable as the "Combat Pistol". It holds 12 rounds in its magazine (16 with the "Extended Clip" attachment).
OTs-33 Pernach
What appears to be an OTs-33 Pernach is available as the fully-automatic "AP Pistol".
Desert Eagle
A Desert Eagle is available as the "Pistol .50" as a special edition bonus weapon. While playing Righteous Slaughter, an FPS game, in his bedroom, Jimmy's game character can be seen using a stainless steel Desert Eagle in tandem with a knife similar to the USP45/tactical knife combo in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Shotguns
Mossberg 590 Cruiser
The "Shotgun" in the game resembles a Mossberg 590 Cruiser with a heat shield and what appears to be a Magpul CTR stock; it comes with an 8-shell magazine capacity. The reloading animation depicts only one shell being inserted, regardless the number of shells needed.
Custom Shortened Mossberg 500
The "Sawed-Off Shotgun" in the game appears to be a short version of the Mossberg 500 (unlike in the previous GTA games, where it appeared as a double-barreled shotgun). It resembles a Mossberg based Serbu Super Shorty, but is slighly longer and features a traditional style pump. It comes with an 8-shell capacity (while a shotgun this size would only be able to hold somehwere between 2 and 4), and like with the larger Mossberg the reloading animation shows only one shell being inserted. It is uniquely capable of being used on motorcycles as a driveby weapon.
Kel-Tec KSG
The Kel-Tec KSG is a bonus weapon available in the Special Edition of the game as the "Bullpup Shotgun".
"Assault Shotgun"
The "Assault Shotgun" is largely based on the UTAS UTS-15 with the addition of a box magazine and some other modifications such as a longer stock and relocating the barrel to the position the magazine tubes normally occupy. The original UTS-15 has a manual pump-action, however the "Assault Shotgun" is depicted as fully-automatic.
Sub Machine Guns
Mini Uzi
The Mini Uzi is available. The beta version had an incorrectly slanted magazine, but this is corrected in the main game, and it can be fitted with a 16 or 30 round magazine.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
The "SMG" appears to be a heavily modified H&K MP5A3, though it seems to contain parts of the H&K UMP9. It holds 30 rounds in a 15-round mag, and 60 in the 30-rounder.
"Assault SMG"
This submachine gun is apparently fictional; however it bears a resemblance to the QCQ-05. It is a bonus unlock for players who join the Rockstar Social Club.
Assault Rifles
Norinco Type 56-2
The "Assault Rifle" is a Norinco Type 56-2. It comes standard with black polymer furniture and Picatinny rails on the handguard. It can be fitted with a 30 or 60 round magazine.
AR-15 Variant
A short-barreled AR-15 variant is available as the "Carbine Rifle". It can be fitted with a 30 or 60 round magazine. It appears to have a DDM4 9 inch Free Float upper with a set of unknown folding sights. Additionally it appears to feature an Ace Skeleton stock (shown incorectly as a telescopic stock).
IMI Compact Tavor CTAR-21
In the recent gameplay video, Michael is seen firing what appears to be a IMI Compact Tavor CTAR-21 with a raised scope mount and different handguard from a helicopter. A screenshot previously released by Game Informer showed a more correctly modeled CTAR-21 with a green finish.
Robinson Armament XCR
When playing Righteous Slaughter in his bedroom, Jimmy's game character can be seen using a Robinson Armament XCR in the CQB configuration.
MK18 Mod 0
Michael can be seen holding a MK18 Mod 0 with an Aimpoint CompM2 red dot sight and sound suppressor in artwork. This weapon is not available in the game.
Machine Guns
GE M134 Minigun
Two GE M134 Miniguns are seen attached to the armed attack version of the Buzzard. A handheld version is also available.
"Combat MG"
The "Combat MG" featured in the game is a hybrid design consisting of an FN Mk 46 Mod 1 with the buttstock of an M60 machine gun. It can accept all attachments except a suppressor.
PKM
The PKM appears as the "MG".
Launchers
RPG-7
An RPG-7 is available.
Milkor Mark 14 MGL
A Milkor Mark 14 MGL is included in the game. It has an unrealistic capacity of 10 grenades instead of 6.
Sniper Rifles
Barrett M107
A Barrett M107 is available as the upper tier sniper rifle.
Accuracy International AW
A rifle similar to the Accuracy International AW is the standard sniper rifle in the game. Trevor receives a free one with a suppressor and more powerful scope in a mission.
Thrown Weapons
M61 Hand Grenade
The M61 hand grenade appears as the "Grenade".
M18 Smoke Grenade
The M18 smoke grenade appears as the "Tear Gas" grenade.
