Revolvers

Webley revolvers

Webley Revolvers are seen in hands of various characters, including one of the main characters, Detective Sergeant Paul Milner (Anthony Howell). They are used as murder weapons in "The White Feather" (S1E2) and "A Lesson in Murder" (S1E3). Both Webley .38 Mk IV and Webley .455 Mk VI are used. It's not always possible to determine exactly what model is used.

Webley Mk IV - .38 S&W
Webley Mk. VI - .455 Webley
Robert Woolton's (Bernard Kay) Webley is seen in a box in "The White Feather" (S1E2). It matches .445 Mk VI better.
Robert Woolton aims his Webley. Note that the revolver is unloaded.
The same revolver is used as the murder weapon. Due to the shape of the front sight it can be identified as Webley .38 Mk IV.
A constable finds the revolver after the murder in "The White Feather" (S1E2). Here it again switches to Webley .455 Mk VI, according to the shape of the frame.
Foyle examines the revolver.
Arthur Ellis (Paul Brooke) hides the revolver in "The White Feather" (S1E2).
Theo Howard (David Tennant) holds a Webley in "A Lesson in Murder" (S1E3).
Milner (Anthony Howell) holds a Webley in "A Lesson in Murder" (S1E3).
Emily Gascoigne (Cheryl Campbell) fires a Webley in "A Lesson in Murder" (S1E3).

Rifles

Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III*

Many British Army and Home Guard soldiers carry Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III* rifles. These rifles are seen in most episodes.

Hispano Mk II

Two 20-mm Hispano Mk II auto guns are mounted on Spitfire fighter plane, piloted by Andrew Foyle (Julian Ovenden), in "Eagle Day" (S1E4). Two different planes appear in this episode (one is Mk. Vb and another one is Mk. IX), and both are original Spitfires, not replicas.

Hand Grenades

In "A Lesson in Murder" (S1E3) a Mk 2 hand grenade is used as a booby-trap (though a Mills Bomb would fit better for the place and time).
