Revision as of 13:56, 15 October 2013
Resident Evil: Retribution is the fifth installment in the Resident Evil film franchise. Milla Jovovich returns as Alice in the 2012 3D sequel and several characters from the previous films also make return appearances. In addition, several characters from the videogames not previously introduced make their film debuts here including Leon S. Kennedy (Johann Urb), Barry Burton (Kevin Durand), and Ada Wong (Li Bingbing).
The following weapons were used in the film Resident Evil: Retribution:
WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!
Handguns
SIG-Sauer P226
Alice (Milla Jovovich) is seen dual-wielding SIG-Sauer P226 pistols when engaging Umbrella soldiers at the beginning of the film, which takes place in the immediate aftermath of Resident Evil: Afterlife. This may be a continuity error, as she was not seen using these pistols in the previous film. Rain (Michelle Rodriguez) uses a P226 to threaten Ada.
SIG-Sauer P220 Sport
Alice uses a SIG-Sauer P220 Sport she obtains from a cop car in the Tokyo simulation. The pistol is seen clicking empty instead of the slide lock.
Beretta 92FS
An officer with the RPD is seen briefly using a Beretta 92FS while repelling zombies at the film's beginning. This is a nod to the games, where the Beretta is one of the most common handguns available in Raccoon City.
Glock 17
Ada Wong (Li Bingbing) carries a Glock 17 with a rail-mounted weaponlight as her weapon of choice in the film. During a fight, Alice also is seen holding the pistol.
Heckler & Koch USP9
A two-tone Heckler & Koch USP9 is the sidearm carried by Luther West (Boris Kodjoe). He appears to be carrying two pistols, but is also seen drawing both of them once.
Para-Ordnance P-14 Limited
A Para-Ordnance P-14 pistol fitted with a Streamlight TLR-2 laser/light combo appears to be the sidearm of Leon Kennedy.
Smith & Wesson M629 Performance Center
The .44 Magnum Smith & Wesson Model 629 Performance Center is seen carried by Barry Burton (Kevin Durand). Holstered on his vest, the revolver appears to be mocked up to resemble its video game counterpart, the Silver Serpent from Resident Evil's Remake (which was a .44 Magnum Colt Anaconda). Barry is first seen using it during the car chase through the Moscow simulation.
Submachine guns
TDI/KRISS Vector
The TDI Vector is the main gun handled by Alice (Milla Jovovich) in the film. The SMGs seen have the stock and foregrips removed. The SMGs are first seen as part of a cache of weapons discovered by Alice and then are dual-wielded by her throughout the film. The Vectors do not have any sights, mechanical or optical, mounted on their top rails.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
The Heckler & Koch MP5A3 is seen in the hands of a Secret Service agent guarding the White House.
Heckler & Koch UMP
Tony (Ofilio Portillo) is seen carrying a Heckler & Koch UMP.
Yugoslav Model 61 Škorpion
Jill Valentine (Sienna Guillory) uses a pair of Yugoslavian made Model 61(i) Skorpion submachine guns as her weapons of choice in the film. The pair is seen first being fired while Jill falls from an Umbrella attack ship at the film's opening. The coda scene to Resident Evil: Afterlife, appeared to show her carrying MP9s, but this was likely changed due to the fact that Jill carries Skorpions in the game Resident Evil 5.

Shotguns
12 gauge sawn-off break-action side-by-side shotgun
In the immediate aftermath of the previous film, Alice wields her pair of sawed-off 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotguns in a dual shoulder rig setup. The shells appear to have been loaded with quarters as seen in Resident Evil: Afterlife.
Rifles
AK-47
Zombified Russian soldiers in the Moscow simulation are armed with AK rifles.
AKMS
An AKMS is the weapon of choice for Sergei (Robin Kasyanov). Leon and infected Russian soldiers are also seen using the rifle.
Colt M4A1
What appears to be an Colt M4A1 fitted with an M203 grenade launcher is seen carried by Rain Ocampo (Michelle Rodriguez). U.S. Marines guarding the White House also appear to carry M4A1s fitted with EOTech holographic reflex sights.
Colt M16A4
U.S. Marines guarding the White House appear to be armed with the M16A4.
IMI ACE 21
An ACE 21 is seen in the hands of both James "One" Shade (Colin Salmon) as well as Barry Burton (Kevin Durand). A few Umbrella troops use this weapon during the raid on the Arcadia
Heckler & Koch G36C
A two-tone Heckler & Koch G36C is the weapon carried by Luther West (Boris Kodjoe). The G36C is fitted with a foregrip, a German new system IDZ-style carry handle and the receiver is in the two-tone scheme.
IMI Tavor CTAR-21
Umbrella guards as well as Carlos Olivera (Oded Fehr) appear to be armed with an IMI Tavor CTAR-21. Ada also is seen using the rifle.
SIG SG 552
A SIG SG 552 assault rifle fitted with an EOTech sight is carried by Leon Kennedy (Johann Urb).
Machine guns
GE M134 Minigun
The Umbrella VTOLs open fire on the Arcadia with dual miniguns and air-to-ground missiles.
Browning M2
Dual Browning M2 machine guns are seen used by Russian Ganado soldiers during the Moscow simulation. Browning M2s also are seen in machine gun nests atop the White House.
DShK 12.7mm HMG
A DShK 12.7mm Soviet machine gun mounted on a Soviet truck is used by a Ganado soldier during the chase in the Moscow simulation.
PKM
A Russian soldier holds what appears to be an PKM during the Moscow simulation.
M240C
An M240C appears to be used by an Russian Ganado soldier riding a motorcycle.
Other
Bazalt RPG-7
An Russian Ganado officer fires what appears to be an RPG-7 during the Moscow simulation.
Grappling gun
A custom stainless grappling gun is first used by Ada, who then gives it to Alice to use. It is based heavily on the one Ada carries in Resident Evil 4.
