The following weapons were used in Season 9 of the television series NCIS:
Pistols
SIG-Sauer P228
The SIG-Sauer P228 is the main sidearm of nearly all the NCIS agents in the series including Special Agents Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), Anthony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), Timothy McGee (Sean Murray), and Ziva David (Cote de Pablo). The P228 also continues to be the handgun carried by CGIS (Coast Guard Investigative Service) Special Agent Abigail Borin (Diane Neal), who draws it in "Safe Harbor" (S9E05).
Tyler Elliott (Sean Astin) uses what appears to be a P228 to shoot SecNav Clayton Jarvis (Matt Craven) in the opening scene of "The Tell" (S09E18)
Baltimore arson Detective Jason King (Gaius Charles) carries a P228, who draws it in "Rekindled" (S9E21).
SIG-Sauer P229
A SIG-Sauer P229 is carried by a US Coast Guard officer in "Safe Harbor" (S9E05).
SIG-Sauer P226
Russian mercenary Veli Tupolev (David S. Lee) holds a County Deputy hostage with a SIG-Sauer P226 in "Newborn King" (S9E11).
"Blackhand"
A prototype special operations pistol called the "Black Hand" was used in several murders by an ex-military analyst turned assassin in "The Penelope Papers" (S9E03). It's a prop pistol that is based on the SP-21 Barak.
Beretta 92FS
A Beretta 92FS is seen used by Thomas Pearce (Seth Peterson) in "Devil's Triangle" (S9E07).
Desert Eagle Mark XIX
In "Housekeeping" (S9E12), ex-Watcher agent Casey Stratton (Scott Wolf) fires a Desert Eagle. Ziva says that it has .50 caliber bullets, which indicates that its caliber is the .50 Action Express.
Glock 17
The Glock 17 is another frequently-used handgun in the series and is the sidearm of FBI Special Agent Tobias Fornell (Joe Spano).
In "Thirst" (S09E06), Gibbs and McGee disarm Phillip Ekkerly (Eric Allan Kramer) of a Glock 17 in his waistband while arresting him, though it is never drawn or fired.
In "Sins of the Father" (S09E10), DC Metro Officers Jackson (Leonard Robinson) and Blake (Dawn Noel) both draw their Glocks when they arrest Anthony DiNozzo, Sr. (Robert Wagner).
Glock 19
In the opening scene of "Enemy on the Hill" (S09E04), furniture salesman Paul Arliss (Kevin Cotteleer) is hit by a car outside the Capitol building and a Glock 19 with attached suppressor is found holstered at his belt, leading to his identification as a contract killer on the FBI's Most Wanted list.
Glock 26
NCIS Special Agent E.J. Barrett (Sarah Jane Morris) is seen holding her Glock 26 in "Nature of the Beast" (S9E01).
Jericho 941 R
What appears to be a Jericho 941 R pistol is used by a FBI agent in "Housekeeping" (S9E12).
Smith & Wesson 3913
A suppressed Smith & Wesson 3913 is seen used at the beginning of "Newborn King" (S9E11).
Smith & Wesson 5906
A Smith & Wesson 5906 appears to be the pistol pulled by Casey Stratton (Scott Wolf) in "Nature of the Beast" (S9E01).
Revolvers
Smith & Wesson Model 37
In "Restless" (S9E02), Smith & Wesson Model 37 Airweight was seen beside ex-con Curtis when Gibbs, Tony and McGee were approaching him on the roof of a taco restaurant. In the series' 200th episode "Life Before His Eyes" (S9E14), a gunman pulls one on Gibbs in a diner.
Smith & Wesson Model 340PD
Ziva continues to carry a Smith & Wesson Model 340PD as her backup gun, which she carries in an ankle holster. She often is seen dual-wielding the revolver along with her SIG, this time in "Newborn King" (S9E11).
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
In "Housekeeping" (S9E12), an FBI SWAT agent is armed with the Heckler & Koch MP5A2 fitted with an ACOG scope, weaponlight and laser sight (it's possible that this weapon is an airsoft replica).
Heckler & Koch MP5SD2
In "Desperate Man" (S9E13), a Heckler & Koch MP5SD2 is seen when Abby shows Gibbs a photo of the weapon suspected in a murder.
Rifles
AKM
The AKM is a frequent weapon used by terrorists and suspects in the series.
Colt M4A1 Carbine
The M4A1 carbine can be seen used by various US Military personnel and gunmen throughout the series. In "Engaged, Part II" (S9E09), US Marines as well as Gibbs and Ziva are armed with M4A1's during a raid in Afghanistan.
Colt Model 933
U.S. Coast Guard Petty Officers Ben Cooper (Brandon Fobbs) and Kyle Sterling (Ross Thomas) carry Colt Model 933 rifles while checking out a deserted ship in "Safe Harbor" (S9E05). This exact same weapon appears again in "Engaged, Part II" (S9E09) in the hands of USMC Capt. Craig Quincy (LaMonica Garrett).
Heckler & Koch G36C
A Heckler & Koch G36C with a mounted suppressor on the barrel is seen in Season 9's "Enemy on the Hill" (S9E04) when Gibbs and Tony uncover the assassin's hidden arms stash in his garage.
M14
The ceremonial soldiers who guard the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier are seen holding M14 rifles in "Engaged, Part I" (S9E08).
M16A4
A Marine honor guard is seen performing a rifle volley with M16A4 rifles during a funeral in "Engaged, Part II" (S9E09). This appears to be reused footage from the Season 8 episode "Pyramid".
Sniper Rifles
Accuracy International Arctic Warfare (Airsoft)
An airsoft replica of the Accuracy International Arctic Warfare is one of the sniper rifles found in an assassin's hidden arms stash in "Enemy on the Hill" (S9E04). It can be identified as an airsoft replica by the lack of a cut-out in the magazine well and the featureless silver bolt.
M40A1 Sniper Rifle
In the series' 200th episode "Life Before His Eyes" (S9E14), Gibbs is seen taking aim with his M40A1 sniper rifle in an alternate reality where he doesn't take the shot that kills the drug dealer that killed his family.
Remington 700SS
What appears to be Remington 700SS is one of the sniper rifles found in an assassin's hidden arms stash in "Enemy on the Hill" (S9E04).
Remington 700PSS
In the series' 200th episode "Life Before His Eyes" (S9E14), Ari Haswari (Rudolf Martin) takes aim with the Remington 700PSS in an alternate reality to the events seen in Season 2's finale "Twilight". A Remington 700PSS is seen being used by a US Navy sniper in "Up in Smoke" (S9E23).
Winchester Model 70
A Winchester Model 70 is held by Justin Fanniker (Dylan Bruce) in "Engaged, Part I" (S9E08).
Machine Guns
M249 SAW Paratrooper
A Marine is briefly seen using an M249 SAW in "Engaged Part II" (S9E09).
Browning M2
A remote-operated Browning is seen mounted atop a Marine M-ATV in "Engaged, Part II" (S9E09).
Heavy Weapons
Airtronic RPG-7
In "Housekeeping" (S9E12), ex-Watcher operator Casey Stratton (Scott Wolf) can be seen firing an Airtronic RPG-7, a modernized US manufactured version of the RPG-7.
M26 MASS (Modular Accessory Shotgun System)
The M26 Modular Accessory Shotgun System in standalone configuration with a number of 3 round magazines is one of the weapons seen in the case opened by Tony in "Housekeeping" (S9E12).
Other
RKG-3
A pair of RKG-3 anti-tank grenades were confiscated by Gibbs in "Thirst" (S9E06).
