No fictional firearms in actor pages

Jonah Hex screens
Thanks for your contributions, but make sure that you upload the ENTIRE frame of the screen and not cropped (to keep the shots at a uniform size). Also make sure that your player is set to 16:9 so your screengrabs are not squashed. A good computer DVD player that takes screenshots is VLC Player. --Ben41 01:34, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
Cropping
Cropping is tricky for me; the last time I tried to do it (for shots from "Monk"), they caused distortions.

Striptease movie screenshots
Some good work on the page for Striptease, but it appears that the media player you're using to capture screenshots is not set to the correct aspect ratio, which is why they all looked squashed. Your media player should be set to "16:9" or "Auto" for widescreen movies before capturing. You can correct these shots in Fast Stone Image Viewer by using the "Resize/Resample" feature located underneath the "Edit" function in the upper banner. If you resize your image to 720 x 410, then they'll look correct. I am going to redo the first two pictures for your reference. --Ben41 23:23, 27 November 2011 (CST)

- Do you have an existing image editing program? If not, you can download Fast Stone Image Viewer for free. Select your image (I chose this one), go to Edit, then Resize/Resample. Uncheck the box for "Preserve Aspect Ratio" on the bottom. Edit the number of pixels, leaving the image Width as it is (714px for the file I used,) and then calculate 714/2.4, which gives you 297.5. Enter the rounded value under Height. Click Okay, save, and reupload. It should only take you a few minutes. --Funkychinaman (talk) 14:54, 17 March 2013 (EDT)

I am going to ask that you delay changing any more tables in the actor pages until there is some consensus on how to proceed. - First, thanks for wanting to help improve the site. In the future, it would be best to just update the information and update the formatting on any pages that don't use the current formatting and not to modify the columns for the actor's pages. - It's nice that you would want to do that, but it is more important to convert weapon pages to table if they haven't already and to keep the tables up to date (if TV series have ended or recent media needs to be added).
