It is the most often recommended primary and is considered the best gun in the game, having a low power scope, a unique grenade launcher, and if double-ammo is taken as your secondary item, more than enough ammo, especially since double ammo also affects the M203. Satchel Charges, like the Claymore, were cut, this means that for any objective that was originally designed for Satchel Charge use, the player must instead use the M4's M203, M67 Grenades or the LAW Rocket Launcher to destroy the objects instead.
