Nice, but where's the trigger?

This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it.

The following weapons appear in the video game Call of Duty 2:

Call Of Duty 2 (2005)

Soviet Union

Tokarev TT-33

Standard sidearm of the Soviet forces during the first few levels. Has a capacity of 8 rounds.

Mosin Nagant

The Mosin Nagant is one of the best weapons in the game. Deals extremely high damage but the slow (bolt-action) rate of fire and lack of ammo supply can be a problem. The scoped variant is used by the Russian troops as a sniper rifle. Interestingly, the sniper version has a different reload animation: it must be reloaded one bullet at a time instead of the "normal" weapon's stripper clip, probably because the scope would interfere with the clip insertion.

PPSh-41

Standard Soviet submachine gun. Appears with the 71-round drum magazine. The recoil of the gun is controllable, but has a short range. A very popular weapon on multiplayer servers due to its high ammo capacity and effectiveness in close quarters.

PPS-42

The PPS-42, early model of PPS-43 appears with 35-round box magazines in Call Of Duty 2. The low rate of fire makes it easier to control, but this could be a disadvantage at close range.

Karabiner 98k

The bolt-action Kar98k is the standard German service rifle. Holds 5 rounds and is very accurate even at large distances. German snipers use the scoped version.

MP40

The MP40 submachine gun appears with a 32-round magazine, high recoil and poor range. It is relatively effective in CQC but hitting the target from a distance can be a problem.

United Kingdom

Webley Mk. VI

Available sidearm of the British forces. It is the most powerful sidearm in the game but holds only 6 bullets in the cylinder and its reload is pretty slow too.

Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk.I

The British service rifle. Called simply "Lee-Enfield", this rifle is better than the Kar98k because it holds 10 rounds. A scoped version can also be found and used as a sniper rifle in single player and multiplayer modes.

Sten Mk II

The Sten Mk II is a very accurate (on the contrary to the real-life counterpart which is fairly inaccurate, surely more so than the MP40 or the Thompson) sub-machine gun for the U.K. forces. Holds 32 rounds just like the MP40.

Main support for the U.K. The Bren light machine gun is surprisingly similar to the Type 99 of Call of Duty World at War, only manufactured by different factions.

Sticky Bomb

Appears only once in the Russian level where the player has to destroy several Panzer Tanks.

The Sticky Bomb (officially the No 74 ST Grenade).

Mills Bomb

The hand grenade used by British forces. Performs just like any other grenade in the game.
