Battlefield V is an upcoming first-person shooter developed by Swedish game developer DICE and published by Electronic Arts. It is a main series entry in EA's large-scale FPS Battlefield series, and returns to the setting of World War 2.

Overview
In Battlefield V, there is an increased amount of weapon customization options compared to Battlefield 1. The weapon variant system is removed, and general weapon customization returns to a form similar to Battlefield 4. Cosmetic parts such as stocks can also be modified, in addition to simple cosmetic modifications such as weapon finishes.

Colt M1911A1
An icon for the the Colt M1911A1 is seen in some promotional materials.
Luger P08
The Luger P08 is seen used by a German officer in the singleplayer teaser.
Star Ruby
The Star Ruby is a secondary option in the beta.
Walther P38
A Walther P38 pistol is an all-class weapon in the public Alpha.
Revolvers
Webley Mk VI
A Webley Mk VI can be seen in the hands of a character in the "The Company" trailer.
Submachine Guns
Erma EMP-35
An Erma EMP-35 is seen held by a female British soldier in promotional images. In the alpha, it is an Assault class primary, while in the Beta, it is a Medic weapon.
Haenel-Schmeisser MP28/II
The Haenel-Schmeisser MP28/II (an improved version of the Bergmann MP18 Submachine Gun) is seen in the "Road to Battlefield V" community event.
MP40
The MP40 is seen in the trailer used by German soldiers, and will be featured in the multiplayer as an available SMG for the Medic class.
M1928A1 Thompson
The M1928A1 Thompson is seen used by British soldiers in promotional images.
Sten Mk. II
The Sten Mk II is seen in the reveal trailer. In the open beta, it is used by the Medic class.
Steyr MP34
The Steyr MP34 is seen in the "This is Battlefield V" trailer.
Suomi KP/-31
The Suomi KP/-31 with stick magazine is seen on a wallpaper. In the open beta, it is used by the Medic class.
Shotguns
M30 Luftwaffe Drilling
The M30 Luftwaffe Drilling is seen in the Gamescom trailer. In the public beta, it is a support class primary weapon.
Sjögren
A player character in the "The Company" trailer can be seen holding a Sjögren shotgun.
Rifles
FG 42
The Fallschirmjägergewehr 42 is seen in the Gamescom trailer. It is a Support weapon in the public beta.
Gewehr 43
A Gewehr 43 is seen on a wallpaper and in released game footage. In the Alpha, the weapon is equipped with a telescopic sight and is used by the Medic class in the alpha. In the open beta, it is used by the Assault class. Game footages shows the weapon being reloaded with stripper clips and loose rounds instead of by its detachable magazine.
Karabiner 98k
The Karabiner 98k is seen in released game footage and trailers, both with and without a scope.
Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk.I
The Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk 1* is a usable weapon in the beta.
M1/M1A1 Carbine
Some of the soldiers on the game's various cover arts wield M1 Carbines. The Gamescom trailer featured one M1 carbine with a side-folding stock, making it an M1A1 Carbine. The M1A1 is available for the assault class in the open beta.
Mauser Selbstlader M1916
The Mauser Selbstlader M1916 is confirmed to return from Battlefield 1 with the "Road to Battlefield V" community event, which featured an unlockable weapon skin for the M1916 in BF5.
Steyr Mannlicher M1895
The Steyr Mannlicher M1895 is confirmed to return from Battlefield 1 with the "Road to Battlefield V" community event, which featured an unlockable weapon skin for the M1895 in BF5.
Sturmgewehr 44
A Sturmgewehr 44 is available for the Assault class.
Turner SMLE Conversion
The prototype semi-auto conversion for the SMLE by Russell J. Turner appears in the open beta as an Assault class weapon.
Gustloff Volkssturmgewehr
An icon of a Volkssturmgewehr is seen in the "This is Battlefield V" trailer.
ZH-29
The ZH-29 is found in the public beta as a Recon class primary. It has a 5-round capacity and is reloaded with stripper clips and loose ammo instead of by switching the detachable magazine.
Machine Guns
Bren Mk 1
A Bren Gun is seen and used in the trailer, and is a Support weapon in the alpha and beta.
Lewis Gun
The Lewis Gun is confirmed to return from Battlefield 1 with the "Road to Battlefield V" community event, which featured an unlockable weapon skin for the Lewis Gun in BF5.
MG 34
The MG34 is found in the Alpha. Released game footage shows that the gun can overheat if fired for too long, and the player character will change the quick-change barrel if it overheats. Released game footage also shows that the MG34 cannot aim down sights while being carried by hand, requiring use of bipods to aim down sights.
MG42
The MG42 is used in the reveal trailer.
SIG KE7
The SIG KE7 light machine gun is found in the Gamescom trailer. It is used by the Support class in the open beta.
Vickers K
What seems to be a ground troop version of the Vickers K machine gun (Vickers G.O. No.2 Mk.1 Land Service) is found in the Gamescom trailer.
Flare Gun

The Leuchtpistole can used by the scout class.
Launchers
Enfield Grenade launcher
The Enfield cup-type rifle grenade launcher mounted on a shortened SMLE is a dedicated gadget. It can be seen in the Gamescom trailer, and it is an Assault and Medic gadget in the public beta. The player character is seen inserting a grenade and a blank into their weapon.
Panzerfaust
The Panzerfaust is an anti-tank gadget for the Assault class.
Panzerschreck
A German soldier is seen carrying a Panzerschreck in the reveal trailer.
PIAT
A PIAT is seen over a soldier's back in the reveal trailer.

Mills Bomb
Mills Bombs are seen on British soldiers in the reveal trailer.
Mk. II frag grenade
Some Mk 2 hand grenades are seen in the reveal trailer.
Model 24 Stielhandgranate

Tellermine 42
The Tellermine 42 is a gadget available for the Assault and Support class.

2cm FlaK 38
A 2cm FlaK 38 AA gun is pulled by a British tank in the reveal trailer.
7.5 cm Pak 40
A 7.5 cm Pak 40 AT gun is seen fired by British soldiers in the reveal trailer.
21 cm-Mörser 18
Several German 21-cm-Mörser 18 howitzers can be seen and destroyed in the "Grand Operation" multiplayer mode.
Besa
The Besa machine gun is mounted on a British tank in the reveal trailer.
MG34
An MG34 machine gun with saddle drum magazines can be seen mounted on top of a vehicle in the Gamescom trailer.
Vickers Mk 1
The Vickers Machine Gun is a buildable stationary heavy MG for the Allies. It uses the same base model/animations as its Battlefield 1 version, however its "visual recoil" (sight misalignment while firing) has been drastically reduced to the point of effectively being gone, as with all other guns in BFV. Additionally, as of the open Beta the name has been changed from simply "HMG" to "Vickers".
