Callen ([[Chris O'Donnell]]), Sam Hanna ([[L.L. Cool J]]), and Kensi Blye ([[Daniela Ruah]]) in Season 1. Luis Perez uses a Equinox-styled P228 in "Identity" (S1E01). After Luis is incapacitated, Callen appears to use this SIG, but the pistol appears to be a P229 model. Dominic "Dom" Vail ([[Adam Jamal Craig]]) uses one during his tenure on the series and Director Leon Vance ([[Rocky Carroll]]) also is seen pulling his SIG. |

+ | G.Callen briefly fires a [[SIG-Sauer P229]] in "Identity" (S1E01). This appears to be a continuity error as the pistol he picked up should have been a P228. In "Chinatown" (S1E16), a Ministry of State Security (MSS) assassin pulls a suppressed original model SIG P229 with the K-Kote finish polished on the slide and a glossy shine. Military contractors use them in "Search and Destroy"(S1E04) and Dominic "Dom" Vail ([[Adam Jamal Craig]]) uses one while posing as an LAPD officer in "Killshot" (S1E05). Militia members were seen using them in "Ambush" (S1E08). In "Fame" (S1E20), Hassad Al-Jahiri ([[Faran Tahir]]) uses a 92FS against Callen and the other NCIS agents saving Kensi from being killed. In "Hunted" (S1E22), Army CID Major Rick Medina ([[Yancey Arias]]) uses a 92FS as his sidearm and even tried to use it against G, Sam and Kensi after they realize he went rogue and was working with Keshwar. In "Callen, G" (S1E24), Amy Taylor ([[Jacqueline McKenzie]]) fires one against Karim Akbar, wasting its bullets due to her having non-existent handgun training.

− | + | When Detective Marty Deeks ([[Eric Christian Olsen]]) was first introduced in "Hand-to-Hand" (S1E19), his sidearm was a 3rd Gen [[Glock 17]]. He also uses it in "Fame" (S1E20). Michael Rivikin also used the semi auto version of it. Callen disarms a militia member and uses his Glock 17 in "Ambush" (S1E08). Glock 17's are used by members of the counterfeiting ring in "Keepin' It Real" (S1E06). Callen disarms one of them and uses his G17 to dispatch two more. Military contractors use them in "Search and Destroy" (S1E04). Karim Akbar was armed with a Glock 17 when he was gunned down by G, Kensi and Sam in "Callen, G" (S1E24).

In "Chinatown" (S1E16), MSS agent Xue-Li ([[Elaine Kao]]) is armed with a suppressed Glock 26, although fake. Hetty carries one as her concealed carry in a jacket pocket. The following weapons were used in Season 1 of the television series NCIS: Los Angeles:
Pistols
SIG-Sauer P228
The SIG-Sauer P228 is the main sidearm carried by the majority of the NCIS Special Agents in the Office of Special Projects including G. Callen (Chris O'Donnell), Sam Hanna (L.L. Cool J), and Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) in Season 1. Luis Perez uses a Equinox-styled P228 in "Identity" (S1E01). After Luis is incapacitated, Callen appears to use this SIG, but the pistol appears to be a P229 model. Dominic "Dom" Vail (Adam Jamal Craig) uses one during his tenure on the series and Director Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll) also is seen pulling his SIG.
SIG-Sauer P229
G.Callen briefly fires a SIG-Sauer P229 in "Identity" (S1E01). This appears to be a continuity error as the pistol he picked up should have been a P228. In "Chinatown" (S1E16), a Ministry of State Security (MSS) assassin pulls a suppressed original model SIG P229 with the K-Kote finish polished on the slide and a glossy shine. He is seen aiming it at a retreating Kensi in the Chinatown district of Los Angeles before Sam takes him down to the ground.
Beretta 92FS
A Beretta 92FS is used by LAPD officers and suspects in "Identity" (S1E01). Military contractors use them in "Search and Destroy"(S1E04) and Dominic "Dom" Vail (Adam Jamal Craig) uses one while posing as an LAPD officer in "Killshot" (S1E05). Militia members were seen using them in "Ambush" (S1E08). In "Fame" (S1E20), Hassad Al-Jahiri (Faran Tahir) uses a 92FS against Callen and the other NCIS agents saving Kensi from being killed. In "Hunted" (S1E22), Army CID Major Rick Medina (Yancey Arias) uses a 92FS as his sidearm and even tried to use it against G, Sam and Kensi after they realize he went rogue and was working with Keshwar. In "Callen, G" (S1E24), Amy Taylor (Jacqueline McKenzie) fires one against Karim Akbar, wasting its bullets due to her having non-existent handgun training.
Colt Officer's Enhanced Mark IV
A .45 Colt Officer's Enhanced Mark IV pistol was used by LAPD Detective Douglas Grozen (Rodney Rowland) in "The Only Easy Day" (S1E02). Grozen uses the pistol to hold Callen and Kurt Holgate (Matt Battaglia) hostage. It appears to be two-tone with a silver frame and wood grips.
Colt Gold Cup National Match Enhanced
A rogue Navy SEAL conducting a raid on a drug dealer's residence uses a Colt Gold Cup National Match Enhanced in "The Only Easy Day" (S1E02).
Glock 17
When Detective Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) was first introduced in "Hand-to-Hand" (S1E19), his sidearm was a 3rd Gen Glock 17.
Glock 19
In "Predator" (S1E03), terrorist Yousef Kaleem uses a Glock 19 to shoot at Callen and Hanna. Eugene Keelson is armed with a Glock in "Burned" (S1E23), never fired after he raised it to fire at Callen.
Glock 26
In "The Only Easy Day" (S1E02), a Glock 26 pistol is used by rogue SEAL Morris Raspen, and in a continuity error, Sam Hanna (L.L. Cool J) also uses one. In "Chinatown" (S1E16), MSS agent Xue-Li (Elaine Kao) is armed with a suppressed Glock 26, although fake. Hetty carries one as her concealed carry in a jacket pocket. Callen carries a Glock 26 as his backup weapon which he keeps in an ankle holster, seen in "The Only Easy Day" (S1E02).
Heckler & Koch USP
In "Past Lives" (S1E12), Tommy Boyd (Kenny Johnson) uses a Heckler & Koch USP to threaten the killer. The killer also uses one to shoot Jon Donnelly (David Monahan).
Ruger KP89
The lead robber uses a Ruger KP89 in "The Bank Job" (S1E15).
Ruger KP94
Bulgarian gangster Ruman Marinov (Steve Bacic) carries a KP94 in "Burned" (S1E23), using it to shoot at Callen while he's undercover and at Sam, Kensi, and Renko when he attempts to kill Andres Werner. Then near the end of the episode, when he attempts to kill Callen he uses it with a suppressor.
Smith & Wesson 5946
The passenger uses a Smith & Wesson 5946 in the initial shootout in "Identity" (S1E01). In "Callen, G" (S1E24), an Iranian gunman searching for G and "Amy" at an abandoned orphanage uses one as well.
Non Guns
In the series' premiere "Identity" (S1E01), the pistols used by Callen and Hanna as well as the pistols used by the gunmen during a shootout are in reality Non Guns.
