Leaked gameplay

Some footage from the alpha was leaked. Guy visited a weapons vendor. Saw Beretta M9, AK47, MP5A4, Police M4, and Military P416 listed. Lots of different versions of the same guns like most MMOs.Temp89 (talk)

Yeah I was in the Alpha, but there was an NDA so we can't add any of it to the page, there was also a Beretta PX4 with a threaded barrel, an M1911A1, a Remington 870, and, what I think, was a Mosin Nagant bolt action rifle, only saw the icon, never actually bought the weapon. --RedRobinAlpha (talk) 14:30, 20 December 2015 (GMT)
Is this game any good or is it another Ubisoft collectathon?--AnActualAK47 (talk) 10:08, 20 December 2015 (EST)
I really enjoyed it, there weren't many actual missions available in the Alpha, so I dunno if it will be another Destiny and just be 2 hours of the same gameplay stretched over 25 hours, but the gameplay itself works well. It's an RPG so the weapons obviously aren't as realistic as they would be an a normal Tom Clancy game, (hit a high level guy who took two 5.56 Magazines to the face to kill), so if that's not your thing I'd avoid it. But the moving between cover in a firefight works smoothly and weapons can be customised on the fly, with Scopes, large/quick release Mags, Silencers/Compensators, and forward grips. You have a 3 weapon system similar to Vegas 1&2 (Two primary, one sidearm). Will be interesting to see what they add in before the March release date. --RedRobinAlpha (talk) 17:41, 20 December 2015 (GMT)
Since im not the biggest fan of these types of MP only games i'm not sure i'll pick this up whether is good or bad, doubt i'll have anyone to play it with :/--AnActualAK47 (talk) 14:58, 20 December 2015 (EST)
Judging by the missions that I was able to play the 'Campaign' missions can be played Solo or with others, the main MP section is the PvP, or 'Dark Zone' which is pretty fun, none of my friends where in the Alpha, but you kinda just end up merging with other groups until either you, or one of them decides to betray everyone and take their stuff. --RedRobinAlpha (talk) 22:01, 20 December 2015 (GMT)

SSR

According to FN's website, an SSR-length SCAR with the standard stock would be the SCAR-H PR, or Precision Rifle. Spartan198 (talk) 22:30, 20 December 2015 (EST)

Live Action Screencaps

Just a heads up there's a live-action mini-series that's been produced in collaboration with Ubisoft called Agent Origins. From what I've seen there's TDI Vectors, M&P Shields, an M9, some AKs and shotguns, a couple of AR-type rifles and an M249. --DeltaOne (talk) 03:08, 24 January 2016 (EST)

Beta weapons

There's a springfield M21, an M1911A1, a Mosin-Nagant with a modern scope mount (May have been the carbine version, I think I saw a folding bayonet, only ever saw one on a dead guy), some sort of revolver (Only saw the name), an Uzi, a TEC-9 variant, a Px4 compact, a SCAR-H, an RPK74, a double-barrel shotgun, and a bunch of other ones I can't remember. Here's a link to some screenshots I took of the M&P45, the Px4, the nugget, and the M1911A1.--BlackHawk510 (talk) 22:16, 29 January 2016 (EST)

On that subject, I took a closer look at the autoturrets, and realized they are chambered in 5.7x28mm, using FN P90 magazines on some futuristic FMG-9-like platform.--SSgt LuLZ (talk) 10:03, 23 February 2016 (GMT)
Oh so that's what the P90 mags are for, I saw some sitting on a table in the command centre and was confused. It's a pretty reasonable caliber/capacity/size selection for a little turret like that. Alex T Snow (talk) 22:09, 22 February 2016 (EST)

Shotgun Reload

While I was playing the beta, I noticed when you mid-reload (midload?) one of the pump action shotguns, the character will actually eject a live shell before insert new ones. Thought that was a cool little detail.--SeanWolf (talk) 20:36, 22 February 2016 (EST)

I only used one briefly, but I'm pretty sure (the 870 at least) has you pull the pump back, load whatever amount, then pump back forward again, which isn't a technique I've seen before. Alex T Snow (talk) 22:11, 22 February 2016 (EST)
Is it like in MGS where you reload shotguns via putting a shell in the chamber and then loading the rest in the tube? So far, MGS4 and 5 are the only third person games where i've seen that reload, pretty cool.--AnActualAK47 (talk) 06:03, 23 February 2016 (EST)

Data Leak/Weapon List

http://www.gamespot.com/articles/the-division-leak-reveals-game-has-at-least-26-mis/1100-6435403/

A redditor mined the games data files. Included in the leak are the number of SP missions available at launch (26) and list of weapons that are available to use.

Weapon list (potential spoilers?): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/14DS1xkPP1R6iiEEW6VolXXQxHJ7S3xwh4gm9WvZRsh0/edit#gid=1113655528 --John Ryder (talk) 09:16, 7 March 2016 (EST)

Nice attention to detail

I must say, I'm surprised at the attention to detail regarding the weapons, even with it being a Tom Clancy game. What really caught my eye was the trigger discipline. Another was that when an optic is equipped, the BUIS is folded down instead of being removed completely. The attachments are also pretty nice. I like having more than one option for a red dot unlike how most game are (I've found like 4 or 5 different styles not counting the coloring like FDE). The few things that kind of irked me was that the foregrip uses the same slot as lasers and that the Vector lacks a stock (at least on all the ones I've found). But overall, this quenches my gun thirst pretty well. Majorcamo (talk) 13:14, 13 March 2016 (EDT)

I'm really impressed myself as well, the only real odd ball weapon in the game so far (from what I've seen on the page) is the L86A2. Mr. Wolf (talk) 20:12, 13 March 2016 (EDT)
Same here with that. If this was anywhere near realistic, there shouldn't be any weapons like this or any full auto RPKs Excalibur01 (talk) 22:49, 13 March 2016 (EDT)
Just FYI, I have found three versions of the Vector. The first was the one you found, the second has the standard stock, and the third has a collapsible stock like you'd find on a M4. I've found most weapons have 2-3 versions.Zombiedrd (talk) 23:01, 20 March 2016 (CST)
The only other nitpicky thing I have with the game is that the AK safety levers are all set to semiautomatic, rather than full automatic firing modes.--Aidoru (talk) 03:23, 24 April 2016 (EDT)

Full release

I've named some of the full release's weapons on the main page already, but I'll also rattle off a few now: M9A1(with 20 round mag), different versions of the SRS, a few M60 variants, the automated turret appears to be built with the guts of a P90, and others I can't recall.--BlackHawk510 (talk) 22:02, 20 March 2016 (EDT)

I'll add some more I've seen ingame and around the internet: A variant of the P416 that's identical to the one used as a reference image(I.E. white reciever and VLTOR handguard) called "P416 G3". The standard TEC-9 variant appears as "SMG9-A2", the SRS appears (at least in one variant) as "SRS Covert"(With a literally silent suppressor). An AK74M with RIS appears as "AK-74M"(seriously) and an AK103 with furniture similar to the ones used by Alfa group appears as "Black Market AK74". There's a variant of the Px4 with a threaded barrel as "PX4 Storm type T", A SCAR-H variant with VLTOR furniture as "Police MK17", A fixed stock M1014 as "Marine Super 90", an M4 with an MLOK handguard as "Lightweight M4", An M1A SOCOM II with a VLTOR top rail and JAE gen 3 stock appears as "First wave M1A", A Mosin-Nagant in an Archangel stock as "M44 Custom", A Mosin-Nagant in a slightly less silly polymer stock as "Hunting M44".--BlackHawk510 (talk) 12:25, 26 March 2016 (EDT)

ACR

So I went ahead and added the Bushmaster ACR. I know that the standard, fixed stock version has the removable pistol grip in-game which is a feature of the Remington ACR, but I think it's obvious that the makers were trying to make it into a Bushmaster and just used the same model as the Remington. I'm stuck between taking back the Bushmaster and just saying they're all Remingtons with Bushmaster furniture or leaving it how it is but making a small note about the pistol grip. Any other suggestions? Majorcamo (talk) 12:30, 21 March 2016 (EDT)

I changed it. Mr. Wolf (talk) 23:08, 25 March 2016 (EDT)
Most ACR parts are interchangeable from what I know. The 2012 ACR can come from the factory with a fixed stock and a black finish, though there's only the option for the 5-sided handguard, it's possible that you can swap it with the plastic MOE handguard. They also can not be Bushmasters cause they have a full-auto setting on the fire selector. Mr. Wolf (talk) 23:22, 25 March 2016 (EDT)
Thanks, I really wasn't sure what to do. Majorcamo (talk) 08:43, 26 March 2016 (EDT)

Replacing Beta and Trailers Images?

If and when I or anyone else screencap images of weapons that already have images from the two betas, is there some site policy against replacing such outdated images? I've been on a roll taking screencaps and I don't wanna feel like I'm undermining someone else's efforts from before but it seems like there are some HUD differences between the betas and the full release to warrant replacement. --SSgt LuLZ (talk) 11:53, 01 May 2016 (GMT)

First Wave Vector and Update 1.2

I'm kinda a new user, so I'm still not 100% familiar with all of the rules regarding pictures. Nevertheless, can anyone screen cap or upload a picture of the First Wave Vector so that way the page has a picture of all 3 models?

Also, I've heard that the new update is bringing weapons, so looks like we (aka you guys lol) have your work cut out for you. Hoping there's at least an SKE coming.

Can someone screencap the new weapons added via patch 1.3?

Title says it all. In the meantime, I'll get the respective weapon pages set up. Jaxxons11 (talk) 18:52, 21 July 2016 (EDT)

I'll work on that. I'll get the "X-45", "First Wave X-45", PP-19, SVD, and whatever else as soon as I can. --Fidget (talk) 07:37, 12 September 2016 (EDT)
I've added the G36 and G36C, and I will add the other guns soon. However, I wanted ask everyone's opinion on this-
TheDivision G36 3.jpg

This is the third variant in the game, called "Enhanced G36". Is this a modified G36 or an HK243? --Fidget (talk) 15:57, 14 September 2016 (EDT)

Good question. It looks more like an HK243, but it may just be an extremely modified G36. If enough people agree on it being the former, I'll add it's own section to the page. Jaxxons11 (talk) 16:23, 14 September 2016 (EDT)
Based on that stock and mag well (that has a STANAG mag in it), my money is on HK243 (or HK293 or whatever). I guess we could either make a new entry or just add the picture with a note explaining that it looks like it was modeled on the 243, but has full auto like a G36. I'll let you make the call. Until then I'll keep adding the guns I know. --Fidget (talk) 20:28, 14 September 2016 (EDT)

Update 1.5 Weapons

I'm adding the new 1.5 weapons and pictures as I get my hands on them. There's a new weapon, called the "M700" that I guess is a Rem 700, but I'll need some help identifying the specific variant once I get screenshots. I know the "Carbon M700" has an XLR Tactical Buttstock and XLR Carbon Chassis, but I don't know what the original gun is. --Fidget (talk) 07:57, 26 November 2016 (EST)

So here is the first variant of the Remington 700. Can anyone identify it?
TheDivision Remington 700.jpeg

--Fidget (talk) 15:05, 26 November 2016 (EST)

Alright guys, this time I really do need some advice! I found out that there is a third Remington 700 variant in the game, this one being the base model and simply called "M700". Here is a picture.
TheDivision Model 700.jpeg

I don't have the expertise to identify what year and model this is. To me it looks most like a 700 CDL, but I don't know if I should post that without knowing. The other two I'm guessing are some model of 700PSS or are just modified to have detachable magazines. --Fidget (talk) 20:45, 29 November 2016 (EST)

Unknown Pistol

I recently got this game, and noticed there's an interesting pistol found on an award thing in the Brooklyn police station. Looks like it was handed out by Venom Snake.

The odd barrel placement looks like it might be modeled off of a blank fire pistol.

Tanfoglio TZ-75?--KINKI'boy (talk) 20:28, 4 January 2017 (JST)
Should we move this to the main page under an unknown category? An increase in exposure can increase the chances of it being identified. --Wuzh (talk) 12:07, 30 May 2018 (EDT)

APC SMG?

Just found a new SMG, look like a B&T APC9. Listed as Enchanced MP5. Should i add this here?--The guy with the gun (talk) 04:02, 13 February 2017 (EST)

Yeah, this is it. Blured screenshot from wikia. I'll download my screenshot later. --The guy with the gun (talk) 04:10, 13 February 2017 (EST)

it's not; the APC9 has a different lower receiver and stock. It's a TSC Machine MP5 ST, I haven't found one yet. --AgentGumby (talk) 07:10, 13 February 2017 (EST)

Mk 48 or M249?

I searched for some images of the "MK 46" in the Division online and I think I saw a STANAG well on one of them. Did I misidentify something else as the STANAG well or is it true and evidence that the in-game weapon is modeled after the M249? --Wuzh (talk) 12:05, 30 May 2018 (EDT)
