Discussion

What is this gun? Is it a Chinese rip off of the Calico? If so, then why is there a magazine end plate sticking out of the pistol grip? MoviePropMaster2008 01:56, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

If I recall correctly, it has two separate feed systems, in case one fails.-protoAuthor 02:18, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
I guess you could call it a ripoff, but than again so is the PP-19 Bizon. The magazine end plate in the pistol grip is there because the early versions of the Chang Feng had feed from a conventional magazine as a secondary source of ammo like Protoauthor said. However The current version of the Chang Feng omitted this feature for some reason. --AdAstra2009 02:21, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
When I first saw a Chang Feng, I knew right off the bat that it was Chinese. I didn't even have to hear the name-S&Wshooter 04:47, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

Sources

I figured with the limited amount of research people have over Chinese guns, it would be useful to give a few sources. It also shows a lot more variations of the weapon across its development. Maybe a few of them can be listed on this page.

So I'm guessing from that new grip they've abandoned the dual feed system in the production model? Evil Tim (talk) 08:12, 17 April 2018 (EDT)
Pretty sure they abandoned that long time ago. I also think that after 2006 they retouched it a few more times (since the source I gave did not have any images of the latest model that I uploaded). On this image, the top weapon shows what's likely a CS/LS06 when it was first produced in 2006, and the bottom weapon is another redesigned model with new selector switches and stuff. --Wuzh (talk) 08:27, 17 April 2018 (EDT)
