NCIS - Season 5
The following weapons were used in Season 5 of the television series NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service:
The SIG-Sauer P228 is the main sidearm of nearly all the NCIS agents in the series including Special Agents Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), Anthony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), Timothy McGee (Sean Murray), and Ziva David (Cote de Pablo). In "Lost and Found" (S5E09), Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette) fires a SIG-Sauer P228 into her water tank to perform a ballistics test, while a Boy Scout from McGee's troop looks on with a grin. In a flashback to an assassination operation in Paris in Season 5's "Judgment Day parts 1 & 2", Gibbs uses a suppressed SIG-Sauer P228 to kill ex-KGB assassin turned contract killer Anatoli Zukov and the SIG is pulled in the present day by NCIS Director Jenny Shepard (Lauren Holly).
In Season 5's premiere "Bury Your Dead" (S5E01), Jenny Shepherd is seen experiencing a nightmare where her father holds a Beretta 92FS. Corporal Abdul Bakr (Walid Amini) holds a Beretta 92FS in "Tribes" (S5E11) before it is taken from him.
Beretta 92FS Inox
A gunman is seen with a suppressed Beretta 92FS Inox at the beginning of "Designated Target" (S5E08).
Beretta 92G Elite 1A
While the Beretta 92FS is usually used as a stand-in for the M9, Corporal Damon Werth (Paul Telfer) holds a 92G Elite 1A at Gibbs in a rehab facility in "Corporal Punishment" (S5E10). The Elite 1A differs from the 92FS in a variety of ways, most notably the arch on the slide, front cocking serrations and the accessory rail.
The Glock 17 is another frequently-used handgun in the series. NCIS Director Jenny Shepard (Lauren Holly) takes a Glock 17 out of her desk drawer in Season 5's premiere "Bury Your Dead" (S5E01). In "Identity Crisis" (S05E04), FBI Special Agents Tobias Fornell (Joe Spano) and Courtney Krieger (Dorian Brown) are both seen carrying Glock 17s. The latter's Glock is grabbed by arms dealer Robert Graves (Joe Egender), who fires it at Ziva. Kidnapper Danny Coyle (Stelio Savante) holds a Glock in "Requiem" (S5E07). In "Lost and Found" (S5E09), Det. Collins (J.R. Bourne) aims a Glock while searching a state park for a fugitive. DC-Metro Detective Andrea Sparr (Gretchen Egolf) draws a Glock 17 in "Stakeout" (S5E12).
Heckler & Koch P2000 SK
In Season 5's two-part finale "Judgment Day, Part 1" (S5E18), Mike Franks gives Jenny Shepard (Lauren Holly) a Heckler & Koch P2000 SK to use. Franks says the gun is a clean, with no registration number and is the one Jenny uses when engaging the shooters in the diner.
Jericho 941 R "Baby Eagle"
In Season 5's "About Face" (S5E17), Tesla Suskavcevic (James Logan) pulls a Jericho 941 R on Jimmy Palmer from his car. The gun that appears in his hand during Jimmy's flashback to their first encounter resembles a full-size Desert Eagle.
Magnum Research Desert Eagle
In "About Face" (S5E17), criminal Tesla Suskavcevic (James Logan) opens fire on Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen) with a Desert Eagle sporting a stainless steel finish. Oddly, when Tesla is confronted at the end of the episode, his gun is a Jericho 941, or "Baby Eagle." It is possible that the Desert Eagle that appears in Jimmy's memory is a trick of his imagination, making the gun he saw appear much bigger than it really was. This is consistent with the theme of the episode, emphasizing how shaken Jimmy is after being shot at.
Smith & Wesson SW1911PD
Mike Franks (Muse Watson) carries a Smith & Wesson SW1911PD with the full 5" barrel as his sidearm. It can be seen in the Season 5 episodes "Judgment Day, Part 1" and "Judgment Day, Part 2". What differentiates the PD model are the front serrations on the slide that's similar to those in such handguns as the Kimber. The pistol also has a desert tan Crimson Trace grip-mounted laser sight.
Colt Detective Special
Smith & Wesson Model 637 Airweight
A Smith & Wesson Model 637 Airweight revolver is used by Ziva in "Recoil" (S5E16).
Smith & Wesson Model 627
Natasha Lenkov (Kathleen Gati) holds a Smith & Wesson Model 627 on Gibbs and Franks in "Judgment Day, Part II" (S5E19).
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
Russian special forces posing as pirates carry Heckler & Koch MP5A2s with dedicated forends and Navy trigger groups in "Chimera" (S5E06).
The AK-47 is seen in the hands of militia members in the episode "In the Zone" (S5E15).
Colt M4A1 Carbine
The M4A1 carbine can be seen used by various US Military personnel and gunmen throughout the series. In the episode "In The Zone" (S5E15), US Marines as well as Tony are seen carrying M4A1 during an investigation in Iraq.
The M16A4 rifle is notably carried by US Marines in the episode "In The Zone" (S5E15).
12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun
A 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun is a murder weapon in "Family" (S5E02).
Heckler & Koch FABARM
Remington 870 Express Sureshot
One of Viggo's men holds the Express model of the Remington 870 in "Judgment Day, Part I" (S5E18).
A Browning M2 HB is seen mounted on top of a Marine humvee in Iraq in the episode "In The Zone" (S5E15).
A young boy uses an air rifle to shoot a hole in an inflatable raft at the beginning of "Judgment Day, Part I" (S5E18).
