As shown in a pre-release demo, it is referred to as the "M19 Handgun", where it can (rather strangely) be found in a toilet filled with blood, after said toilet is drained. When Ethan picks up the handgun, he performs a brass check, confirming that it is, in fact, chambered. As of the demo, the 1911A1 has no animations for its hammer, meaning it functions in incorrect DAO mode; this is especially jarring since Ethan's first act was to chamber a round, which should have automatically cocked the hammer. | + | An [[M1911A1]] is featured, first seen being picked up by Ethan in an early trailer. M1911A1
An M1911A1 is featured, first seen being picked up by Ethan in an early trailer. Also as of the demo, it uses 9mm ammo, although whether this will change on the final game's release is unknown.
Shotguns
Remington 870
A Remington 870 is seen in a screenshot from the game.
