The Mle 1892 Revolver is carried by several French officers and soldiers including Lieutenant Roget (Wayne Morris), Cpl. Philippe Paris (Ralph Meeker) and Pvt. Lejeune (Kem Dibbs). Colonel Dax (Kirk Douglas) is briefly seen with this revolver, too, as he goes over the top but it then switches to a Smith & Wesson M1917 Revolver. The three main defendants soldiers Corporal Philippe Paris (Ralph Meeker), Private Maurice Ferol (Timothy Carey) and Private Pierre Arnaud (Joe Turkel) can be seen with Lebel rifles during the inspection of Général Mireau (George Macready).
