Beretta 92FS
 +
Beginning in Season 2, Detective Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) carries a Beretta 92FS as his main sidearm due to his status with the LAPD and merely assignment to NCIS as a liaison officer. Deeks claims he likes it due to the manual safety saving his life when a Junkie grabbed it from him and that he can manually load the chamber if his magazines malfunction. Emma Mastin (Liane Balaban) is seen using a 92FS when defending herself from a hit team in "Black Widow" (S2E02). In a continuity error, the Beretta switches to a Glock 26 depending on the angle.

A cache of M4A1 carbines were going to be sold by an arms dealer named Liam to Michael Rivikin who was under cover. M4A1s are also used by Marine Corps personnel. Also notably used by Hanna, Kensi and Renko during 1x08 to provide overwatch and support for Callen as he is in a militia camp and by several militia members in the same episode. ATF tactical team members, LAPD SWAT officers, and NCIS agents also use M4A1s during the events of "LD50". In "Burned", Sam, Kensi and Renko use M4A1s in a shootout against Bulgarian gangsters. Marines and NCIS agents use M4A1s in "Borderline", the Marine's weapons having ACOG scopes and the agents using EOTech sights and brass catchers. Kensi, Sam and Deeks have M4A1s with a picatinny-equipped handguard that held vertical foregrip and scopes in "Black Widow". In "Borderland", Callen and Sam armed with a M4A1 that had a EOTech sight and vertical foregrip. NCIS tactical teams led by Hanna use M4A1s in "Personal".

The following weapons were used in Season 2 of the television series NCIS: Los Angeles:

Pistols

SIG-Sauer P228

The SIG-Sauer P228 is the main sidearm carried by the majority of the NCIS Special Agents in the Office of Special Projects including G. Callen (Chris O'Donnell), Sam Hanna (L.L. Cool J), and Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) in Season 2. NCIS Operational Psychologist Nate Getz (Peter Cambor) and LAPD Detective Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) carry SIGs in "Borderline" (S2E03). FBI Special Agent John White holds a suppressed SIG on Tracy Keller (Marisol Nichols) in "Stand-off" (S2E06). In "Absolution" (S2E09), two DGSE agents are seen holding P228's. In "Harm's Way" (S2E18). a couple of P228s were found in Yemen, brought to the country with CIA help.

NCIS Special Agent G. Callen (Chris O'Donnell) pulls his SIG-Sauer P228 in Season 1's premiere "Human Traffic" (S2E01).
NCIS Special Agent Sam Hanna (L.L. Cool J) with his SIG-Sauer P228 in Season 1's premiere "Human Traffic" (S2E01).
NCIS Special Agent Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) fires her SIG-Sauer P228 in "Black Widow" (S2E02).
LAPD Detective Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) fires a SIG-Sauer P228 (note the "stovepipe" jam) in "Borderline" (S2E03). This appears to be a continuity error since he usually carries a Beretta.
NCIS Operational Psychologist Nate Getz (Peter Cambor) fires the P228 in "Borderline" (S2E03).
G. Callen holds the P228 in "Stand-off" (S2E06).
Sam Hanna holds the P228 in "Stand-off" (S2E06).
Kensi Blye holds the P228 in "Stand-off" (S2E06).
Sam Hanna draws his P228 in "Absolution" (S2E09).
Kensi Blye draws her P228 in "Absolution" (S2E09).
The two DGSE agents draw their P228s on Kensi and Deeks in "Absolution" (S2E09).
A close up of G. Callen's P228 in "Tin Soldiers" (S2E15).
Dual P228s found in a suitcase by G in Yemen in "Harm's Way" (S2E18).
FBI Special Agent John White holds a suppressed P228 on Tracy Keller (Marisol Nichols) in "Stand-off" (S2E06).

SIG-Sauer P226

A SIG-Sauer P226 is found in an Al Qaeda safehouse by G in "Anonymous" (S2E07).

A factory black (K-Kote) SIG-Sauer P226 pistol chambered in 9x19mm. This is a real movie gun and has appeared in several motion pictures.
P226 pistol on the left next to an AKMSU in "Anonymous" (S2E07).

SIG-Sauer P239

In "Stand-off" (S2E06), NCIS Intelligence Analyst Nell Jones (Renée Felice Smith) is seen carrying a SIG-Sauer P239.

SIG-Sauer P239 - 9x19mm
Nell's SIG-Sauer P239 is seen holstered in "Stand-off" (S2E06). Like the rest of the NCIS OSP agents, she carries her SIG in an IWB holster.

Beretta 92FS

Beginning in Season 2, Detective Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) carries a Beretta 92FS as his main sidearm due to his status with the LAPD and merely assignment to NCIS as a liaison officer. Emma Mastin (Liane Balaban) is seen using a 92FS when defending herself from a hit team in "Black Widow" (S2E02). In a continuity error, the Beretta switches to a Glock 26 depending on the angle.
