Please note, this show is brand new, and will be missing a poster and some finishing touches until further notice. It is prefered if you do not upload guns seen in the commercials, and wait until guns are documented episode by episode. This way chronological order on episodes can be maintained.


Since descriptions can change in the blink of an eye when I document as I view, I'm just going to list the guns I see and add descriptions after the show ends. It's hard to enjoy the show when I'm going non-stop for an hour trying to keep up. - Gunmaster45


M60 Machine Gun

  • In Episode 1: Machine Gun Educations, the show opens with Gunny firing an M60 machine gun, nicknamed "The Pig". Gunny later speculates on it and inevitabley test fires it, firing a solid 100-round burst on one target, with pretty good accuracy. He finds five-round bursts to work much better on another target. We also see troops in Vietnam using them.

M60D Machine Gun

  • In Episode 5: Helicopters, an M60D machine gun is seen mounted on a Huey helicopter.

Browning M1917 Water-Cooled

  • In Episode 1: Machine Gun Educations, Gunny test fires a Browning M1917 water-cooled machine gun by shooting glass bottles, harshing the Corporal setting it up for being sluggish in his work. Gunny also explains of two Marines who bravely faught Japanese at Guadalcanal (Mitchell Page and John Bassilone) and won the congressional medal of honor using the weapons single-handed. To disprove nay-sayers, Gunny fires the gun from the hip by himself to show the 47-lb weapon can be singley manned.

  • In Episode 1: Machine Gun Educations, Gunny fires a Browning M2HB machine gun, claiming in order to fire a big-ass gun, you need a big-ass vehicle to mount it on. A person at a machine gun shoot is also seen firing one.
  • In Episode 5: Helicopters, a soldier is seen firing a Browning M2HB from a Humvee jeep.

  • In Episode 1: Machine Gun Educations, Gunny tests "Hitler's Buzzsaw", the deadly MG42 by cutting down dead tree stalks, considering it to be a pretty good logging tool. We the quick change barrels swapped multiple times.

GE M134 Minigun

  • In Episode 1: Machine Gun Educations, Gunny fires a GE M134 Minigun, Dillion Aero model and uses it to demolish a junked Sedan. Gunny calls it a "Gatling Gun on steroids!" It is fitted with an EOTech sight for easier aim.
  • In Episode 5: Helicopters, we see GE M134 Miniguns mounted on helicopters.

  • Episode 1: Machine Gun Educations, a re-enactor fires shots with a Springfield 1861 percussion rifle.

  • In Episode 1: Machine Gun Educations, a person at the machine gun shoot fires a Browning M1919 machine gun.
  • In Episode 3: Tanks Educations, a Browning M1919 machine gun is mounted on the hatch of an M4 Sherman tank.

  • In Episode 1: Machine Gun Educations, Gunny blasts away with an M1928 Thompson fitted with a 50-round drum, and somewhat sloppily writes a "G" in the target, for "Gunny". A person at a machine gun shoot is seen firing an M1928 Thompson, fitted with a 30-round magazine.

  • In Episode 1: Machine Gun Educations, Gunny talks about the abysmal Chauchat man-portable machine gun. Gunny calls it a "Piece of crapé." When he shoots it, he worries it will blow up in his face, but instead it jams after four rounds.

Single Action Army

  • In Episode 4: Pistols, Single Action Army revolvers (both 5 1/2" Artillery and 4 3/4" Quickdraw models) are test fired by Gunny. The biggest challenge of the episode was when Gunny was asked to shoot on horseback. He ultimately opted to shoot from his motorcycle instead, as it has better suspension.

IMI Mini Uzi

  • In Episode 4: Pistols, Gunny uses an IMI Mini Uzi to effectively dispose of jars of gumballs, saving children visits to the dentist all around.

  • In Episode 4: Pistols, Gunny closes the episode with an Uzi pistol in one hand, which on IMFDb we refer also as the Micro Uzi.

Glock 18C

  • In Episode 4: Pistols, Jesse Abbott lets Gunny shoot her Glock 18C full auto machine pistol. In most of her competitions Abbott uses a Glock 34 (sometimes kitted out depending on the competition), but since she sponsors Glock, it makes sense for he to own more than one model.

Ruger Blackhawk Pre-73

  • In Episode 4: Pistols, we see Gunny briefly show off a Ruger Blackhawk (more specifically a Pre-73 model with a fluted cylinder and more SAA finishes), noted by its adjustable target sights.

Beretta M9

  • In Episode 4: Pistols, Marines are seen training with Beretta M9 pistols. Gunny shoots one himself, but as a good old Marine, finds it insuperior to the 1911, and denounces it as nothing more than a good target pistol.

Smith & Wesson Model 500

  • In Episode 4: Pistols, Gunny tries out the formidable Smith & Wesson Model 500 revolver, the most powerful production revolver available. After using it to destroy several targets, he decides he needs to own one.

  • In Episode 4: Pistols, Gunny tests a "Duck Foot Pistol", a three barreled percussion cap pistol making an early attemp at a volley gun.

Matchlock Pistol

  • In Episode 4: Pistols, the Matchlock Pistol is shown briefly as an animation only. Strangely the chain of pistols doesn't start with this gun, despite this being the first gun on the list.

Wheel-Lock Pistol

  • In Episode 4: Pistols, Gunny begins on the history of pistols first with the Wheel-Lock Pistol. The weapon has a noticeable delay time on firing, but proved to be more reliable than it is infamously notorious for not being.

Percussion Cap Pistol

  • In Episode 4: Pistols, Gunny test fires the Percussion Cap Pistol, which defeats the problem of not firing when the ignition system is wet.

  • In Episode 4: Pistols, the Colt 1860 Army is presented as the next great step in pistol firepower. Unfortunately, the viewers are led to believe they are watching Gunny test a Colt Army, which he didn't.

Colt 1861 Navy

  • In Episode 4: Pistols, Gunny test fires a Colt 1861 Navy revolver, which is erroneously refered to as a Colt 1860 Army. The revolver only holds five shots though, not six like a Colt Army, which points it to the Colt Navy model.

Colt New Service 1898

  • In Episode 4: Pistols, the Colt New Service 1898 .38 Colt revolver is introduced as the first successful double/single revolver. Gunny shoots a ballistics gel block and the round performs admirably, if not somewhat unimpressive.

  • In Episode 4: Pistols, the Colt M1911 is introduced as the first truly successful semi-automatic self-loading pistol. Gunny calls it his favorite weapon, as it should be.

  • In Episode 4: Pistols, WWII soldiers, Vietnam soldiers, and soldiers in Desert Storm are seen armed with M1911A1 pistols. They cannot be confirmed as Colts like the M1911 (which had several great closeups), so exact make is unknown on them.

Colt Gold Cup

  • In Episode 4: Pistols, we see a Colt Gold Cup (the box showing the name is even visible in the background) along with a Beretta M9 pistol.

Unknown 1911

  • In Episode 4: Pistols, an unknown 1911 variant is test fired by Gunny when he feels it necessary to out-shoot the M9 on targets. The pistol has front and rear cocking serations, a beavertail, combat trigger, and Novak sights.

Smith & Wesson Model 629 Classic

  • In Episode 4: Pistols, Gunny test fires a Smith & Wesson Model 629 Classic revolver and fires it on a ballistics gel block. The block is thrown off the table by the hard hitting .44 Magnum hollow point, and Gunny is nearly thrown off his chair when the recoil knocks him off balance.
