LAPD Officers including Gonzales (uncredited) carry holstered Beretta 92FSs during the protests in "So Close, Yet So Far" (S1E02). National Guardsmen carry holstered 92FS (likely standing in for the military issue Beretta M9, which is virtually identical to the 92FS) starting in "The Dog" (S1E03). Lieutenant Moyers (Jamie McShane) carries the holstered gun in "Not Fade Away" (S1E04) and another pistol is seen dropped next to a dead body in the "Dark Zone". Corporal Andrew Adams (Shawn Hatosy) also briefly carries the Beretta in "Cobalt" (S1E05) until Daniel Salazar (Ruben Blades) takes it away and later uses it during a diversion at a field hospital in "The Good Man" (S1E06), killing several walkers. However, Andrew holds the gun again in "The Good Man" (S1E06) encountering Madison's group in the parking lot. Liza Ortiz (Elizabeth Rodriguez), Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) and Travis Manawa (Cliff Curtis) as well as the National Guardsmen, including Private Jones (Artine Brown) also hold pistols throughout the episode.

Officer Gonzales and other LAPD officers uses a Beretta 92FS to open fire at an approaching walker in  "So Close, Yet So Far" (S1E02). One is also seen lying next to a body in the "DZ" in "Not Fade Away" (S01E04). US Army soldiers and officers also have Beretta 92FS pistols in thigh holsters throughout the season (likely standing in for the military issue Beretta M9, which is virtually identical to the 92FS). Daniel Salazar (Ruben Blades), Lisa Ortiz (Elizabeth Rodriguez), Madison Clark (Kim Dickens), Travis Manawa (Cliff Curtis) and Corporal Andrew Adams (Shawn Hatosy) all use a Beretta 92FS in "The Good Man" (S1E06).

Over and Under Shotgun
Nick (Frank Dillane) and Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) finds Over and Under Shotgun in the closet at Patrick's house in  "The Dog" (S1E03). Daniel Salazar (Rubén Blades) shoots out of this shotgun  in walker in "The Dog" (S1E03). The next morning, Daniel (Rubén Blades) tells Chris (Lorenzo James Henrie) about this shotgun and gives it to him to hold. Travis Manawa (Cliff Curtis) uses the shotgun in "The Good Man" (S1E06).
+
After seeing zombified neighbor Peter Dawson (Noah Beggs) on the street in "The Dog" (S1E03), Nick (Frank Dillane) remembers that their neighbor Patrick Tran (Jim Lau) has an Over and Under Shotgun in his house and goes after it with Madison (Kim Dickens). Later in the episode, Daniel Salazar (Rubén Blades) takes the gun from Madison and shoots Dawson. The next morning, he teaches Chris (Lorenzo James Henrie) how to handle the shotgun. Travis Manawa (Cliff Curtis) is armed with the shotgun during a diversion at a field hospital in "The Good Man" (S1E06).

LAPD SWAT officers shoot infected hospital patients with M4A1s at the beginning of "The Dog" (S1E03). All the National Guardsmen in the Safe Zone India are armed with M4A1 rifles with ACOG or anachronistic Aimpoint CompM4 sights (the outbreak occurred in 2010 while the CompM4 was adopted in 2013), grips, and flashlights throughout the season. The rifles first appear on several of the soldiers eliminating Susan at the end of "The Dog" (S1E03). In "Not Fade Away" (S1E04), the rifles are notably seen during the break-in at the Clark house. Lieutenant Moyers (Jamie McShane), Sergeant Castro (Bobby Naderi), Corporal Cole (Jared Abrahamson) and PFC Richards (Shane Dean) are armed with rifles during another squad's rescue mission in the library in "Cobalt" (S1E05). National Guardsmen including Corporal Johnson (Emy Aneke) and Mason (Will Erichson) are armed with rifles in the field hospital in "The Good Man" (S1E06).

Pistols

Beretta 92FS

Corporal Andrew Adams (Shawn Hatosy) aims at Daniel.
Lisa pulls out the pistol...
... and holds it out to Madison.
Madison briefly holds the gun...
...until she gives it to Travis.

Glock 17

LAPD Officer Henderson (B. J. Clinkscales) carries a holstered Glock 17 while questioning Nick at the hospital at the beginning of "Pilot" (S1E01). LASD deputies also fire Glocks at the car crash victim (Sean Quezada) later in the episode.

Shotguns

Over and Under Shotgun

Assault Rifles

M4A1
