Carl Weathers (1948-2024) was an American actor/director well known for his role as Apollo Creed for four films in the Rocky feature film series as well as his role as Dillon in 1987's Predator. He's also known in the Star Wars universe for his recurring role as Greef Karga in Disney+ streaming series The Mandalorian, in which he also directed numerous episodes. Weathers also had a brief career in the NFL and CFL prior to beginning his acting career. He passed away on February 2, 2024 at the age of 76.
