Avengers: Age of Ultron is the 2015 sequel to the film The Avengers (2012). Joss Whedon returns as director and the film is part of "Phase Two" of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which includes the films Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Ant-Man.
