To Do List

Dropped

  • Chrono Crusade (Watched/screencaped the first 7 episodes. That was all the mediocre writing, unoriginal story and pathetic animation that I could take.)
  • Speed Grapher (No episodes screencapped. I caught a Kalashnikov, a TT-33, a M1911 and an AR-15 in the opening sequence, but I found myself unable to take the series as seriously as it wants after the attack of the amazing rubber bondage man.)

Angel Cop (1989 - 1994)

Angel Cop is a six part OVA from DAST Corporation and Studio 88. Comparable to Mad Bull 34, Angel Cop was one of Manga Entertainment's early 90's releases that became notorious for it's over-the-top violence, low-quality "punched-up" dub, and anti-American (anti-Semitic in the original Japanese dialogue) sentiments.

The folowing firearms are seen in the anime OVA Angel Cop:

Handguns

Angel's Custom M1911

"Angel" uses a custom M1911 pistol with either a nickel or stainless steel finish, target sights, an ambidextrous safety, ported compensator, and grips that inexplicably extend over the lower part of the slide.

Gun Frontier (2002)

Gun Frontier is a thirteen episode anime series based on the manga by Leiji Matsumoto. It is the fifth adaptation of the Harlock franchise and is by far its most unusual entry, changing the setting and genre from a Space Opera set in the 30th century to an action-comedy set in the American Western Frontier.
